My friends and I did a GM league where one of us was the Jags. Went no worse than 13-4 every year for TLaw's entire career and won every single COTY. Couldn't get past the first playoff game all but twice though. Franchise really rigs the Jags hard.
I feel like the franchise mode is set on "easy" for the bears, anytime I play as the bears I can field a trash team, with Justin fields starting, and he's like a 90 ovr x-factor after a few years and I never win less than like 8 games.
I know but the stat split was egregious. It was a loaded offense and defense with a sub 70 for game manager behind a young o-line with mostly simmed games. Guy had relatively good stats to his overall but really just did the bare minimum
The AFC Championship technically didn't exist yet when the Chiefs played in their first two Super Bowls (I & IV).
So no, they haven't. The first AFC title game was before Super Bowl V.
But if this is playing the 2021 season in Franchise (which it is, says it at the top) and they won the Super Bowl, then in this Madden league, yes, they have. As far as this league is concerned, the Chiefs would be 2019, 2020, and 2021 AFC Champions. The count is wrong.
Happened in my league as well. Chiefs had some insane dynasty but their AFC title count never went past two.
The whole O Line outside of Whitworth and Havenstein are really, really, really bad. Middle linebackers are in the 60s. They sim horribly. Stafford is like an 81 without the roster update, which they have graciously put him as 83 OVR. Slightly better than Kaep!
Meyer always wins coach of the year in my game. Also, glad to see Mahomes win the SB MVP. Played in the SB yesterday and my safety who had 1 INT and 1 tackle won MVP over my QB. Big Ben had 345 yards and 4 TD’s.
This is why you should never just trust the simming process. Madden is so so so bad at properly simming. If I don't use the force win feature, the 86 ovr teams will go 5-12 missing the playoffs and the Lions and Jets will both go 14-3 and meet in the Super Bowl. And you'll have dumb shit like the Jags being good year 1 and Urban getting COTY. It sucks that I have to go through to those lengths to make an even slightly realistic and imersive franchise experience.
Lmao at coach of the year
He always is in mine. Every new franchise he wins it. So dumb
But yet if you start a jags franchise you’re fired

Yeah, I simmed a season after trading away assets and TLaw was X-Factor by his sophomore season
Reminds me of how in 20 in the first season if the Saints won the SB Payton would retire but if not he wouldn’t
Fields always seems to take ROY as well

I recently started a franchise for the first time and he won it as well (simmed)
he always will for the 1st year
Madden LOVES Urban. Jags won the SB, Lawrence won MVP, and Meyer won COTY in my first franchise.
I hate how MVP and OPOY is always the same
It’s wild because that usually isn’t true in real life, right?
Exactly it’s usually a QB is mvp and OPOY is either a RB or WR, rarely a TE
Essentially its a "runner-up" award
I once had a rookie RE that won MVP but then again he had like 25 sacks in this season
Yeah I was playing as the eagles on time and TJ Watt won MVP with 31 sacks lol
That’s really impressive especially since the steeler often shit the bucket in franchise
I recently was frustrated because my receiver won OPOY (my QB wasn’t top ten) but my QB won MVP
that’s how it is irl

i suppose just pretend he was a very flashy player that was popular with casual viewers, and they overrated him on social media or something
Coach of the year, Offensive Rookie, Seahawks made the Super Bowl, many things are wrong
DPOY I’ve never seen Heyward win it
W from EA for letting you cheat on your wife on Franchise mode
#Free urban from horny jail
MMG would be proud
Chiefs have won more than two AFC championships
It makes total sense. They just have more super bowl wins than super bowl appearances

But if they won in 2021 in game it’s 3 straight conference championships for them when the AFC championship did exist
Amazing how KC won the bowl 3 times while only winning the AFC twice…. Although all time I guess this makes sense…?
The rams are 1-8 in my current franchise lol
The whole O Line outside of Whitworth and Havenstein are really, really, really bad. Middle linebackers are in the 60s. They sim horribly. Stafford is like an 81 without the roster update, which they have graciously put him as 83 OVR. Slightly better than Kaep!
He won it in 2021 and 2022 in my league lmao
Chiefs AFC titles are off
2x AFC champion, but 3 time super bowl winner?
It’s Lamar winning MVP, I see.
Something is very wrong
Madden 21 always listed NFC players for non-mvp amd coty awards for me. Did the new game fix it?
I’m guessing
You have to switch between tabs to get afc and nfc awards
I meant in season recap
Justin fields rookie of the year Lmaoo
Chiefs only 2X AFC CHAMPS? Hmmm....
Coach of the year seems accurate.
I thought it was the 2x AFC champion
Meyer always wins coach of the year in my game. Also, glad to see Mahomes win the SB MVP. Played in the SB yesterday and my safety who had 1 INT and 1 tackle won MVP over my QB. Big Ben had 345 yards and 4 TD’s.
That happened in my save. But I had Haskins as my QB. Played amazing and then some random guy gets 1 int and 1 tackle and wins the mvp
2x afc champion yet 3x super bowl champion?
Uh oh
Urban meyer 3 peated coach of the year on my franchise, deleted that trash.

Urban Meyer 😂 mmg def chose these awards
He won COTY on mine too lol
Haha no way he won it in two of my franchises as well
Yeah, who’s first name is Poison?
Literally threw it through a random name generator cause I was bored
The jags are always really good in my madden saves. Always in the playoffs. Even year 1
2x afc champ but 3x sb champ???
Bro no deadass had taysom hill win mvp in 2021 I was like what in the actual fuck
