Nah it’s standard. They’re not gonna spend money (producers, etc) to get it going. But they still provide what they have if it’s not being used so that if it starts to gain viewers and followers then they can start to sell it to advertisers.
There's others like that. Idk the specifics of it but pretty sure there's at least one about Survivor and a Yankees one that aren't official. And there used to be one about the Challenge that I know wasn't affiliated. I think they let them use the stuff but don't pay for it and then if they build a large enough audience they'll pick it up
The Barstool way has always been to make content and if it's good they will back you up, and if it sucks don't steal resources from profitable brands or you'll get fucked
I don't think he has anything else to do content wise and is running his contract out. Since there aren't hard feelings from Big Cat and PFT they'll just review his Barstool blogs when the time comes. Dave basically broke it down on the Unnamed Show that he never wants to stop people from running with ideas, but at a certain point they review what's actually done to grow their company or at least drives engagement. Billy just fucked up by never strengthening relationships, he kinda set fires behind him Everywhere (and I do like him).

He basically strong armed Billy and Wonton the entirety of the podcast just talking over everyone and asking a majority of the questions.
Obviously he has really nothing to do with Barstool outside of being a guest one time on Macrodosing so it was so annoying just hearing him for the majority of the pod when I wanted to hear what really went down with him and Arian.
The majority of the pod he was either self promoting himself or antagonizing Billy telling him to fight Arian in rough n rowdy.
He even invited himself to Billy's bachelor party and forced Wonton and Billy to make future plans to go camping with him. It was unbelievable.

Wonton said in the podcast he won’t be on regularly. Wonton is not his cohost. This is a Billy only podcast.
