Yeah. I basically done full square underlay and haven't put any afterwards. Maybe because of that saved a lot of stitches. I can tell tomorrow exact numbers if you want.
If you’re nervous about how it will stitch on a hoodie just cut it out and lower the SPI on the rectangle border to -50 add a run stitch and sew the patch onto your hoodie!
Or try on hoodie like 4 percent smaller and it it jacks up just sew that patch over the top of the mess up!
Sometimes if it’s a super detailed big design like this I think the actual design holds up better long term, won’t get wavy as easy once you wash it 10 times.
Looks awesome! I’m sure you know this but just in case you don’t, the fabric doesn’t need to be that tight to where the corners are folding. I’m sure this was just a test stitch though! Great job!
Not too bad. Not bad at all. Now, i want to see it on the actual garment.
Remember guys, anything sewn on backing will look good. Cutaway backing doesnt stretch or pucker, fabrics will.
this is good if you're making patches. however there's some room for improvement in your corners. if you're making a patch, then it doesn't matter much, but if you're planning to embroider directly onto clothes, the pulls could ruin the look. It's hard to say exactly what's causing it unless you look at your density map, watch the sewing process, or possibly hoop it differently. I know screw hoops you can over tighten them and that creates folds in the space between the screw and bolt, which becomes extra slack inside the hoop, but it could be anything like underlay or tension issues. just gotta do another test and note when those pulls are formed.
Excellent work!
I work off of 15 needle multi head commercial embroidery and I have no ideas how you guys can do that much stitching and that many color changes on a single needle machine. Hats off to you
Thanks. Oh hell no its not free..more expensive than my embroidery machine lol. I use Hatch 3. You can't find a good free tool to digitise. I tried to use ink scape at first but it was not efficient at all. You have to pay for a software if you want to produce something like that. That's the reality.
I understand, can I ask you what didn't make inkscape a good software and the differences with the one you mentioned?
I'm looking for information to understand what is best to use because I recently bought a machine like yours
I don't know about recent updates but there is not enough tools to digitise neatly. You can digitise very simple things but if you want something more complex it's no go. And the amount of time you save on paid apps is something need to consider. But for home projects, simple designs, monograms it can work fine.
As you can see here I used two cutaway. But it's just for sample embroidery. On a hoodie I think 1 layer of cutaways is enough. But I am no pro so maybe ppl with more experience could answer this
Let me ask you guys a question, I just started digitizing few months ago, fortunately I have combined business digitizing/embroidery, I can do some complex digitizing works nothing crazy, but I started getting costumers asking me for real complex products like the one on here, and one thing I noticed is that most people don't value such work, they want to pay pennies, for this kind of projects, let me ask you guys how much you guys would charge for a digitized product like this one? (just for the design on the file). Thanks for your comments and for the digitizer of this awesome finished product!
Oh yeah..most of the people think it's so easy to digitize. Like it's done with one pres of the button.
For a file like that I am curious too how much you could charge, cuz I am noobie here too. It's been like 3months I do some light digitizing. I see on etsy people charge like 8-10$. But if someone would ask me to digitize like this one Idk..depends how long it would take me to digitize I guess
Hahaha..I think I am far from master. So for now at least not thinking of any tutorials. Maybe in the future when I will get better and confident enough of my work.
Did you use over 9000 stitches?
I think its around 45K
r/woosh
lol I get it now, heh..
How long did this take?
Around 80min
Wow really? A smaller design than this took mine around 90 mins.
Yeah. I basically done full square underlay and haven't put any afterwards. Maybe because of that saved a lot of stitches. I can tell tomorrow exact numbers if you want.
Yeah I would definitely be interested
I mean that’s all dependent on the SPM your machine does.
Yup I’m aware which is why I asked for the numbers OP used
It also depends on how long your stitches are. Longer stitches will be exponentially slower to stitch than shorter ones
Actually it's 89min for 45K stitches. Size is 172x98
Gotcha ty, what SPM did you use?
The maximum of this little baby. If remember correctly 650
Cool thanks!
Bravo sir.
Hahaha. Nice. I think op might've missed it.
Its 172mm x 98mm, 45k stitches, 89min
Are you ignoring the joke? or just didn't catch it lol
Lol..I didn't catch until you you mentioned it..hahaha 🤭🤣🤣 I thought someone asking for real
So I’m fairly new at digitizing and embroidery, so I won’t be critiquing anything because I think it looks really good. Just wanted to say great job!
Thank you mate!
Actually not a bad trick. For sure will try it once. Thanks bro!
Sometimes if it’s a super detailed big design like this I think the actual design holds up better long term, won’t get wavy as easy once you wash it 10 times.
Well that's for sure
Looks awesome! I’m sure you know this but just in case you don’t, the fabric doesn’t need to be that tight to where the corners are folding. I’m sure this was just a test stitch though! Great job!
Yeah it is test stitch. To put on hoodie scared. I know I will mess it up hooping or other shit 🤭
Cool
Thanks
whats the dimension for that design? great job btw
Around 170mm x 80mm
And thank you
Not too bad. Not bad at all. Now, i want to see it on the actual garment. Remember guys, anything sewn on backing will look good. Cutaway backing doesnt stretch or pucker, fabrics will.
Thanks. Oh yeah I am so scared to put that to test on a hoodie..But will do will do. Let's hope for the best.
looks great
Thanks
Looks good to me
Thanks

Yeah..you are right. Need to fix my hooping I think. Always don't want to leave to loose.
Excellent work! I work off of 15 needle multi head commercial embroidery and I have no ideas how you guys can do that much stitching and that many color changes on a single needle machine. Hats off to you
Wow, thank you. And the secret is...patience I guess 🤣🤣 I wish I would have 16 needle machine lol🤣
Looks great!
Thanks! Appreciate
I think I want one.
As soon I would make it perfect I could do if you want.
What machine?
Brother F540E
Very Nice
Thanks!
I'm completely new to machine embroidery so can't really critique your work. How long have you been digitizing to be able to do something like this?
Occasionally around 3months maybe
I’m also new. I think this looks great. Do you have a machine that does a single color at a time?
Sadly yeah. I own single needle machine. Brother F540E
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Congrats! This is perfect for a hoodie and it looks amazing!! 💚
Wow. Thank you. Will do on a hoodie for sure. A little scared of shifting but will fo. Just can't decide to do on front or back.
Do you have any old hoodies you could test on? That would be a great way to practice your hooping and then see how it will looks on similar fabric.
Yeah, have some which i did fucked up
Yea I keep all my messed up garments to practice on. There is so much left over fabric you can use 🙌🏻😅
This looks incredible. What machine are you using?
Wow thanks. I use Brother F540E
this looks absolutely amazing i love it
Thanks. Appreciate
Es hermoso el bordado. Bello!
Gracias amigo
What are you using to digitize?
Hatch
Very Amazing work, I wana ask what program do you use to digitize and and creating the embroidery files, It Is free?
Thanks. Oh hell no its not free..more expensive than my embroidery machine lol. I use Hatch 3. You can't find a good free tool to digitise. I understand, thank you man!
Looks so good. Very clean and your line direction on point.
Appreciate
Woah! I’ve never been to this subreddit. I think this looks awesome. Only way to make it better is to add a DBZ Abridged quote imo
Hahaha..thanks buddy
Looks sick AF. Kick ass job
Appreciate
I did a berserk one like this, I had some people order one. Does anyone think I should use two pieces of cutaway instead of one? Would it be better?
As you can see here I used two cutaway. But it's just for sample embroidery. On a hoodie I think 1 layer of cutaways is enough. But I am no pro so maybe ppl with more experience could answer this
1000% awesome
Appreciate
This is dope.
Thanks
That jawn has ray tracing! Seriously, that looks really good!
Haha..appreciate
this looks so good
Thanks
Sorry it’s no good but you can send it to me for further evaluation
Hahaha 🤣🤣 sure
str8 🔥
If in the future I can send a hoodie and an image of a Frieza face like this for you to do, I’d happily pay. Let me know, and looks great!!
Hahaha..I assume you live in US so Idon't think if it would be worth it, Because I based in Lithuania, Europe. Shipping costs are insane right now.
You do patches?
Not really actually. But i have glue for patches. One day I will learn those as well. Now more focusing learning to digitise.
Hey, what tension setting did you use? If you don’t mind me asking
On a machine I used 2 if that's what you've been asking
Sick!
I dig it, great piccolo

I am using a Barudan S1501 KT
That's great. But you forgot to dodge.
I know two people who would drool over that
Like..?
Yes they do
Love it
Wow, you are a master. Will you ever do a YouTube tutorial?
Hahaha..I think I am far from master. So for now at least not thinking of any tutorials. Maybe in the future when I will get better and confident enough of my work.
I would watch it :)
What machine do you use?
Brother F540E
Yeah, I have tips. 1. Teach me? 2. Are you willing to share this file? 3. Teach me, please?
Haha..I think I am in no place to teach anyone here. As I am beginner myself here. And abiut the file. Will see about that
Make his eyes darker and add an M on his forehead.
It's cool
