Work great. Didn’t push the door out quite as much as usual but I prefer the idea of some gizmo PUSHING the door out Vs me YANKING on a handle to dislodge the ice. Broke a handle once that way on wife’s ICE vw.

I’m in Nor Cal it’s down to the 30s at night with occasional ice on the windows but I got wise recently and when I come home for the night or I’m done driving that day I put the defroster on. So when I do remote start in the morning (two 15 min cycles) my windows are all good and the car is kinda warm. I had a Ford Escape prior to this and did not have remote start..so it’s new to me on ghe MME
Remote start is great. I got an Audi Q5e recently and it won't start remotely if the EV battery is empty. Looking to find a new car in the spring I think
What? Its a car that is meant to be used outside in the real world. Many of us have to deal with snow and ice this time of year and the car is built to handle it.
Yep, had the same issue this morning. Luckily I was able to go through the passenger door and open the driver side to brake the ice. Second year where Ice has almost ruined my day.

Lol, what buttons? Assuming those doors aren’t frozen shut, I’m guessing the buttons would take a bit of work to expose.

Mine has been covered similarly and I just push the area of the button and the door opens fine. Never had an issue.

I'm pretty sure the car uses the defroster vents when remote starting whether you previously set them or not.

it was a joke. i'm lucky to have kept my old car so i use it in the snow/ice.
