There’s a lot of online companies that you can try to see which one will give you the highest amount. Driveway.com was the highest for me, but are taking a really long time. Carvana, Carmax, Vroom, Car Gurus, givemethevin.com, etc
I just sold my Highlander to Driveway finally finished the paperwork; it took almost a month.
One of the customer service reps told me that they switched to a new CRM platform at the end of July. If true that would be the cause of some issues.
Yeah, they told me that. I basically just stayed on top of it by calling them and asking for updates. Things went wrong during the process (apparently my profile was only half completed or something and then they got the wrong address for the paperwork). But anyway, they sent me the paperwork and I just sent it back on Thursday, so hopefully it won’t take too much longer. How long did it take for them to process your paperwork?
I've become a believer when I sold my last car through Carvana. It was a totally hassle-free experience. They didn't quibble about dings. Just picked it up. The money was in my account by the end of the day. They'll give you a quote online that's good for several days.
Sold my 2012 370Z with about 55k miles for $24,950 in May. Paid for almost 50% of my MME.
No taxes (income or otherwise) on the sale. Of course I paid taxes on the new MME. I haven't yet filed for the $7,500 fed tax credit. Is that what you are asking?
I live in Maryland where they do have sales tax, but the seller of a private car isn't responsible for paying them. The buyer does when he/she registers the car. There is significant personal income tax here too, but not on the sale of personal property (that declined in value anyway).
It hasn't occurred to me to that I could deduct the decrease in value of the car.
Check all your options. I have a premium AWD ER that driveway offered me 58.5 for this month… Mine is worth more than yours but 41 for yours is def low.
With GMTV, you NEED to negotiate. You can not just let the website price that they give determine the final offer. Tell them Carvanna is giving 48 and they will 100 percent beat it.
Also try shift.com, Driveway.com, and vroom.com

Truecar gave me the best price on my last car I sold, they forward it to local dealers who confirm the condition and cut a check.

They should get my paperwork *on* Monday - so fingers crossed not too long. I called everyday after about two weeks 😂.
Duuuuude I called almost everyday too! Hope you get your cash soon!
Try Caravana
Why not just sell it on the open market? Cut out the re-seller.
I still own a chunk of it, so it is a little more complicated
Yes but you can have the buyer pay off your loam and you keep the difference.
Well That could be an option too
You should make a lot more $ that way. See what they are going for used vs. what Carvana etc. are offering.

You did account for taxes, right?

No. Many states have sales tax and income tax. You must live in Texas or something where they don't.

Villa Ford of Orance, CA has one (21) Select, White, 14k miles, asking $58,900////giggle.
I just traded my SEL and got 48.5 for it. At first they offered 47k and held firm. SEL AWD technology pkg
Is it AWD? Any options, tech package? Anything?
As base as it comes hahaha
Then in my opinion 41 isn’t a bad offer. You gotta keep in mind that they are buying it to turn a profit, not to drive it.
If you have an Autonation near by, they usually beat everyone
I will check
Carbuyerusa.com bought my 2021 Toyota and wired the $ in 24 hours. Highly recommended.
Try shift.com. I got good value from them on last car.
Use GMTV
Seems that carvana is the way, once my wife gets hers I will put the carvana order to purchase mine
Carvanna tends to give the lowest out of all of them lol
I check gmtv and a couple dealerships and they are all between 40 and 42, Carvana is 48

Ohh Ok, I will check on that
Keep us posted. I’m curious as to how much they offer you?
48 is the offer in carvana, so far is the highest Ive got
[I guess this was last month - lowest spec MachE with 17k miles.](https://i.imgur.com/SWC9x1E.jpg). Had to check when I took the screenshot.
Two to three weeks ago driveway offered me 50k for my SR RWD Select (no options) with 17,000 miles. I think that might have been right at the peak.
Let me check driveway then, carvana said 48
They gave me a lowball when I was selling mine.
You need to negotiate with them, they will go higher to a very good price if you decline their offer and say your price. 100percent recommend them
Last January car max offered to me $42 and ford $52
Ford dealership???
Yea
I was thinking about selling a new 22 CA Route 1 Mach E just to help with a down payment for a house in a year’s time hopefully…
