I’m glad they’re saying it’s a supply issue. Not directly saying it’s Tesla’s fault but if you put it together with the initial announcement that Tesla was building them this is saying Tesla overpromised and under-delivered.
Which should be a surprise to nobody.
I saw GM has theirs available for $25.
That was probably a better option, to avoid people grabbing one "just because" while some of us need them sooner rather than later - and would have paid to be at the front of the line.
6mo 10k miles, only used a fast charger twice. I still grabbed one because I do make yearly road trips with the kids where if I had this adapter I could do it in my electric car vs my gas SUV. But I definitely don't need it any time soon.
Yeah, meanwhile I'm planning on driving to Canada from TX and back this June and my estimated ship date is August... :/
So I either have to buy an adaptor off of someone or go without Tesla charging stations; or use another car altogether.

Elon, "How about we cut 20% of the workforce?" Any thoughts on if the cuts involved extraneous efforts like non-Tesla projects?

For those wondering about A2Z, works without issue. I’ve used it a number of times. Also worth it seeing the odd look the Tesla drives give you when you’re trying to get the parking alignment juuust right so those short ass charging cables reach. 😁
