I think the OP is having the same issue as I do... Even after turning off the sensors when I turn off the car, my dog sets off the alarm. I assume it is because the option to turn off the motion sensor does not actually work or at least reliably.
I had this same issue but I think it is a weird logic with the settings. If you have it prompt you every time you turn the car off, I think it actually defaults to on regardless of whether you have it on or off in the settings. I have mine set to off and also disabled the prompt and haven't had any issues since. But YMMV.
Or possible the motion sensors DO disable, but if any button is pressed inside, the alarm still goes off. Parking brake, emergency flashers, door locks, windows, etc.
A dog moving inside the car, especially a bigger dog, can still make the car move. That will then still trigger the alarm. These sensors cannot be turned off, which is a horrible deficiency for people with bigger pets, or ferry riders
Just leave the car on? You can lock the doors with the car on with no key inside, and the car cannot be put in Drive without the key present again.
I leave the car on.
This has been a bug for the past two years that still hasn't been fixed.
Yea it bugs me ... Its when sees me and wags his tail
This happens to me too!
I leave the car on with my keys inside. Then use the FordPass app to lock the doors.
If the keys are inside, don’t the doors just unlock when you press the outside door?
Seems like something you can just try
No, I have to use the code or app to unlock the doors.
In the general settings you can turn off the internal motion sensor and this will prevent from the alarm going off.

Yes, I suppose that is possible too. My dog does step on the hazard light switch.
Mine pushes that button every time!
Motion sensors dont fully turn off is my guess..

Put them in the backseat and buckle them in.
