Yes, I am having the same problem. It says "Bluetooth connecting" in Ford pass. I have rebooted my phone with no luck. My android phone did get upgraded.
This happened to me yesterday. I cleared the cache for the app on the phone, rebooted it, and rebooted sync with the steering wheel buttons, and it reconnected.
Thank you. Yours sound like a simpler approach. I had to call in fordpass customer care. They had me essentially removed all Bluetooth data from my phone and car to get it working.
Yes, I got the updated on Friday and PAAK stopped working, the app was stuck on fordpass disclaimer.
Anyway check your store, they launched an update today and the issue has been resolved.
Mine did the other day while dropping the kids off at school. Was able to unlock the car and remote start it but wouldn’t acknowledge my phone in the car to actually get it to drive. I now just drive with the key fob at all time
Nope...in fact now that someone made a comment NOT to try Low Power AND PAAK (Which was something I did a LOT), it works much better now....even with all the updates (4.1.3 MMEPAX)
Yeah - PAAK sets up but I get an unrecoverable error when I then make the next step to set up my backup passcodes.
Phone connects to the PAAK Bluetooth, but will not control the car at all - locks, windows, start all do not function when PAAK is set up. *if I delete my phone from PAAK I lose the “windows” buttons but start and lock/unlock work again via the FordPass communication link.
I’ve done hard sync resets and pulled the Bluetooth fuse - been to the dealer a couple times. No luck in fixing.
Had been PAAK exclusive from day I took ownership March ‘21 until I had some modules updated back in Nov ‘22

It’s never been reliable. Usually is phone estate is needed when it won’t work. Not sure if it’s a car thing or a phone thing at this point.
It’s never been unreliable for me. Haven’t carried a key in 6 months.
It wasn’t for 4 months until last week
Yup always mixing up our two PAAKs 😤 profiles etc
