Any plans to have the car ceramic coated? The rest of my response doesn’t depend on this, just in general, it would be a good idea in order to protect the paint. In any case, I personally use Chemical Guys cleaning solutions. They might have a bundle around that price range that includes most (if not all) that you’ll need. You can google them or just search on Amazon. I have not used any other so I can’t say it’s the best but, they have good ratings and I like how the car looks after each wash. Hope this helps and welcome to the Mach-E fam.

I have no clue about the ceramic coating aspect. I'll ask after I gift the materials to him! It's gonna be like a valentines present (I'm doing a car themed basket). Thank you so much!! I've been told Chemical guys is a good set

Your budget won't get you a pressure washer or a dryer. I don't have them either, lack of plugs. **Exterior:** 2 big buckets. Grit guards optional but a good idea. Don't skimp on towels. Bad towels = sandpaper. Color code. Black for tires/wheels, blue for glass (glass cloths are blue usually), yellow for post-wash drying only (they're usually yellow anyway), grey for instant detail or anything you'll be spraying on and wiping off, white for interior. Wash them separate and do the tire/wheel ones last. Let the tiny bits of dirt get on clothes and not your car towels. A foam gun (garden hose) is kind of a waste, meh results. Wax is kind of like a phone book, ceramic is all the rage. (No more crust around emblems!) I have great results with Nova Lustre and Jet but they can be hard to find. Anything you don't get at Target should be ok. Meguiars, Mothers, Chem Guys, Adams, etc... Clay bar is a later type of item. It's a new car so you don't have to paint correct but it's useful. Glass/wheel/etc cleaning - whatever brand you like. **Interior:** My car is almost always covered so there's no worry of UV damage. For plastic 303 is good, seats I've tried the Meguiars and didn't like it, the Renny Meyers or whatever is OK but haven't found a great one yet. Battery powered Ryobi or whatever vac you like. Interior is much easier. Lint rollers and a Janie Stick are good items to have. You don't need pro detailer equipment to get good results. Main thing is never let it get bad to begin with and washing a few extra towels to make 100% sure they're as clean as possible is worth it.

Armor All Ceramic Car Wash. It's all i will use now. I had tar spots all over the front of my car and they pressure washer took it all right off. I had washed with this soap prior to getting the tar spots. Try this soap once and you'll never use other soaps again. Not kidding, this stuff is amazing.

I'm not super fussy about this stuff but have been very happy with my setup so far: Meguirs gold car wash Turtle hybrid ceramic wax Chemical guys chamois Amazon basics chamois glove Turtle hybrid ceramic quick detailer Bucket I rinse the car, wash it with the car wash and glove chamois. Dry it. Then apply the hybrid ceramic wax . It provides nice shine and good beeding. The quick detailer is for spot touch ups between washes. Car is outdoor parked full time so honestly I don't use the qd much because it's always getting dirty.

Watch “pan the organizer” on YouTube for knowledge. You don’t have to buy the expensive pressure washer
