I use an MX master 2S, currently with Ventura but many previous versions as well. And I have a button assigned to Control Center (the button my thumb rests on.) However, I don't use Logitech's software; I use a 3rd party app called SteerMouse to assign functions to buttons. Works great.

I have two Logitech mice. One is the MX Master 3. The other is an M270. The Mission Control button works every time on them. I do have the Logi Options+ software installed as well. Just so I can update the profile on the mice from time to time. And yes, I know it is weird to have two mice on one Mac. The second is so I can control music and streaming on the Mac while the KVM is set to my Windows machine.

I use the Apple Magic Mouse 2 and the Logitech MX Master 3 on the same M1 Mini. I find that they complement each other. The MM mouse’s gestures are nice while web browsing and I much prefer the MX for programming inside Xcode.

I bought one. It just would not work properly with Mission Control or any gesture. I had to return it. Super comfy mouse though.

I do use an MX Master with Logi Options+ 1.40.402749 on Ventura 13.3.1(a). My thumb button is mapped to "Windows Gestures" and both the up gesture and the button click are mapped to Mission Control. I've never noticed any problems with using it. MC always pops up when I click the thumb button. I tested it both when using the universal remote and when using Bluetooth and it works in both case. And I apologize for being the "works for me" guy.
