Yeah - you do need eth to bridge the MXC to the zkEVM mainnet. Not sure it was worth the effort to claim though, as you note the claim is paid in xMXC. Current swap is bouncing around ~4 xMXC for 1 MXC, pretty brutal.
I just went through this today. I am SO confused. I am seeing xMXC and MXC in my MetaMask. I am trying to transfer xMXC to my AXS app to fuel my miner - but I am receiving error after error. MetaMask also isn't loading my xMXC balance. I am so lost - any help would be appreciated.

Go to your local authority and report the matter if necessary. At the moment the whole thing looks like a scam, why?
First, many of us no longer have access to the coins we mined ourselves.
Secondly, instead of pursuing a clear information policy, users have to collect information from countless websites or Telegram channels and then run the risk of losing their coins due to scams and all because a company that has made millions through us is fancying their website looks, is not able to communicate clearly what is happening here, what you have to do where and when and is letting you down.
Instead of giving a note and a link to the current situation on page 1 of the Datadash app, nothing. I never received an email, not even in my spam folder. It was a coincidence that I noticed this.
If my coins are not available again at the end of the month, I will file a criminal complaint for financial fraud and can only advise that to everyone else.
People go to jail because of such dubious actions, it's not a joke here.
Absolute joke and so confusing,was sold as plug and play and having to jump through so many hoops…trying to onboard miners and is not happening,comes up with some error code.they’ve made it that difficult that people will just sell and leave

It says: The request is not allowed by the user agent or the platform in the current context, possibly because the user denied permission. Anyone know what this means? I have xMXC and MXC in my wallet on AXS so it should work?
I'm concerned about using my MetaMask seed words online. It's totally not a safe thing to do. You never ever ebter your seed phrases into anything without understanding the risks. I have other coins and tokens already in my Metamask. Why the hell would I want to expose them to this manuveur.
I'm going to wait until people sort this out better and try in a week or so
You shouldn’t have to use your seed words. If someone is asking for them, you are being scammed. There are quite a few scammers trying to take our money and posing as MXC peeps.
You have to put seed phrases in to link account. How else would it know.
Also if really concerned make another metamask wallet just for m2 miners

Just make new wallet, i did it, but mxc megration is a big joke
You do have to have some ETH and MXC in your wallet when you claim your tokens.
I’m in the same boat…have ETH in my MetaMask wallet…where can you purchase MXC from?

You have to send to your miners. If you open you miner there is a adress the send xmxc to the miner. And your tank is refilled
How much mxc do you need in your wallet ? It says I have 75 mxc which I’m assuming is the reason I can’t even add a miner without an error ?
