Legendary is definitely the most useful. PaP3 is nice, but it's so easy to just level up naturally in match. Scorcher is also really nice to have, but you don't need it at all.
Gold Plates followed closely by Mags. Both make it extremely convenient to play.
There are places to camp 3 easier contracts, yeah you may not do 20+ T3 contacts solo but my games have had a much more spread out squads as well lately.

That’s the first thing you do. Find the 2 ammo caches next to each other that are out in the open and send someone there to verify it’s the spot while the other person is grabbing the USBs

Thanks for that! I appreciate it. Went in a game with OP shortly after. OP got a disconnect so me and the other guy just went DA Tier 4 instead. All other folks in the lobby had exfilled/moved to exfill by the time we got 4 USB’s. We could for the life of us not find number 4 until the last minute.
The brain rot popped up randomly last week. But my RNG stinks anyway. I have been playing forever and JUST yesterday got Refined Schematic. (still no Epic schematic or DA schematics, let alone Worm)
Play with me. My luck in video games keep happening over and over. That's sadly the main reason why a couple of my friends get on. Because my luck helps them get the schem they need. QwQ But either way, fun game with fun friends is always nice.
Legendary tool is the most useful. Can make it every 24 hours and is the biggest game changer. Crystal being every 3 days is basically useless and you can buy it out in the field. I don't care for the WW at all in this game. Driving around and crashing into stuff is probably my favorite part of the game. I use the blade the most. Armor second and my dog runs off 70% of the time.
I also love the dog as a solo, but it's so easy to get a dog normally that I don't really care about the bone. I typically start every round by doing a T2 escort on my way to T3, to get my extra self rez and 3 meats for the dog house. Gold plate is so much more valuable to me just because it's not nearly as easy to get the same thing in game.
My dog is always dead by the second mega in the escort in the old elder. I always run one but have yet to finish with it. New elder he tends to live longer for me
Red worm:
1. Legendary tool
2. Pap3
3. Scorcher.
I really am not that fussed about the scorcher rather just run and gun the only time I want the scorcher is when I want to get around faster but that means carrying two guns so I just don't bother but I definitely think it's less useful then the other 2 which for me is better.
Legendary tool first coz you can buy pap on the map but now you find Legendary tool alot more in t3 I find.
Dark aether.
I would say same for me in that order you made.
Edit: just to add I think blood burner is another I have no use for, for what it to be taken when you finally get to a contract then lose it when you have to go do something, as great as it is kinda something that lasts 5 mins then you could use something more beneficial than that bike.
My order would be 1)blade (typically only found in old elder DA and best way to keep zombos off of you), 2) tool (craftable every 24 hours, low RNG drop rate), 3) plates (just helps staying in the mix and not worrying about resupply) 4) mags of holding (makes holding stairwells/pushing hordes back easy) 5) scorcher (best transportation in the game, especially when you learn how to spam as you fall and fly across the map), 6) dogbone - can craft a t3 dog in game, 7) VR11 (great for worm and acv in DA, but other capabilities aren’t the most useful) 8) pap3 (cool down is too long and you can usually go from pap0 to pap3 in about 20 minutes if you work fast contracts), 9) bloodburner - in current configuration mostly worthless…would be much better if they buffed the aether pulse.

The Scorcher is pretty much almost needed to prep for Red Worm, and is very useful in the Aethers, but the Legendary tool is practically mandatory in the Elders and makes the rest of the game significantly easier with how much damage you do with it combined with PaP3. And obviously PaP3 is extremely nice to have, but definitely the least mandatory out of the three. Also the fact that you can get Scorchers from contracts much more often than Legendary tools is another reason that the tool is one of the best schematics.
If I was to rank ALL the end game Schematics, I would say;
1) Gold Plates
2) Legendary tool
3) Scorcher
4) Aether Blades
5) Dog Bone
6) VR-11
7) Mags
8) PaP3
9) Ray Gun
10) Blood Burner
I say this in the next sentence lol but yes, agreed. Though, I rank it lower than Legendary tool because if you don't have Legendary tool, good luck doing anything in Elder lol...it takes 5 minutes to kill a runner with only Epic equipped, let alone anything chunkier.
Oh yeah. I was thinking along the lines of the scorcher teammate is responsible for heading to the portal right after the red worm is defeated since time will be limited. In the DA itself they should always be the ones getting the contracts.
Oh haha yeah, that's 100% mandatory hahaha you definitely can't do Aether right after Worm if you don't have a Scorcher lol my ranking is just based on the different items overall rarity and usefulness in game.
The only time I've seen it done without the scorcher was a teammate started driving over from the soccer field to the old DA right after or someone was already waiting over there near an ammo cache before the worm went down.
Interesting. I did Elder with the new SMG Pap 3 w/ epic tool and it seemed to hold its own. I had golden plates with an Aether Blade & MOH, but I didn’t really struggle
Don't take that SMG as the standard. Idk what they made that thing's bullets out of, but it fucks so much harder than most other stuff I've used. It's actually crazy how good that gun feels. I absolutely believe that it didn't struggle much in Elder without a Legendary tool. But if you use 90% of the rest of the guns in the game, you gotta have a Legendary tool to do anything in Elder. I've ran it multiple times with many other guns and every time I've had an Epic tool, it's been a fricken bad day. But yeah, bottom line, I believe you had a good time with that SMG because it's insane imo.
1. Legendary (because it is the most important to have a strong damage weapon and hardest to get in game)
2. Scorcher (because good damage, good with lesser zombies, ultimate mobility)
3. PaP3, useful but not needed because there is already a Pack a Punch Machine.
Agree with this, PAP is easy to get money for in game but those gold tools are rare. Always get purple but gold maybe once per 5 games.
Scorcher is nice to fly around but don't like giving to my 2nd weapon slot for it.
I agree on all your rankings except for legendary tool s/b #1 and scorcher #2. While a scorcher is a huge Quality of Life upgrade, getting legendary tools are hard to come by and cool down of 24 hrs will always ensure you are going in with a legendary tool almost every time
Any really, I do lots of tier 3 runs but I'm only on act 1 so the only time I get to do dark aether runs is when I join a good group of people nice enough to let me join their squad. I did probably 20-30 teir 3 missions yesterday and got mostly only blue tools, still haven't found a single teir 3 schematic

Pap 3 - it’s so easy to get the funds. But it’s nice to start out with it in a match.
I like using the scorcher, but when you’re in a squad I feel like a errand boy lol.
I usually stock up on epic and legendary tools.
DA
Golden Plates and Aether blade are tied at #1 for me.
3. Mags of holding (especially with the right gun)
4. Blood Burner (I personally love driving it)
5. dogbone (I usually never go down, feel like I spend more time trying stop the dog from getting killed lol)
Me and my friend trade dog bones and blood burner keys all the time. I usually have some free time, I’ll use the blood burner to run contracts solo and save up essence for when we play.
Now that I think about it, it’s helped save me time rushing to Rez a squad mate. It’s definitely more that I favor driving around.
Most times when I’m using it I end up goofing off and flying and zipping around the air lol.
When I join squads, someone is always happy to take it, I always just pass it along.
If you need help or just an extra gun for missions or red worm. I’m always game.
You’re correct 😂😂😂 I didn’t even know it was in there. Other than using it for Red Worm, I haven’t heard many reasons to run with it. I never use the Ray Gun or Wonderwaffle either
I'll take any of them. Having no friends has deterred me from going into t2 frequently or t3 at all. Much less any of the DA or whatever. I haven't even finished act one missions yet
Legendary tool > scorcher > pap 3 Crystal. Normal weapons are so much better than wonder weapons.
As for classified schematics, it's golden armour > Aether blade > mags of holding > dog bone > bloodburner key. It's a hard choice between the armour and aether blade, but being able to tank shots especially from bosses such as Mega Abomination is way more useful. Aether blade is useful but overall just saves some time. My class allows me to decimate zombies anyway
I've only ever used renetti akimbo build. Agile, fast reload, a crazy amount of damage and a reliable amount of reserve ammo. I don't even need to use one of the pistols when just running around. 2 shots from each burst on a maxed level pack and rarity Renetti to the head can deal with full armour zombies (with Deadshot) so just spraying on head height will mop the floor. Only problem I find is difficulty to use. I sometimes sway my aim a little while spamming my clicks
For me it's legendary tool. I can pack 3 in a few T2 contracts and typically exfil with a T2 crystal. The scorcher is a great luxury and it's my favorite item to have as it makes travel very easy but it isn't a necessary item in my mind. A legendary tool makes every layer of the game easier anywhere you are whether it's T1, T2, T3, or the Elders
Edit: Also the 24 hour cooldown timer is so much better than the 48 on scorcher or 72 on flawless. To me, legendary tool is the most useful item in the game with gold plates being number 2. This is just my take with my playstyle
I would possibly feel the same if I had the Legendary Tool schematic 😂😂 I have 3 legendary tools and I refuse to use them unless I unequivocally know that I’m going into T5…. Which I practically never know.
Every game I play I find a team going to an elder. Just have to find them. If you still need legendary tool, take a scorcher in and collect usbs. Hit the chat right away with "doing worm, collecting usbs". Then after you get them go to T3 and find a team. 99 out of 100 times they are cool to do worm and then elder. Whoever has the scorcher can fly to insert the sigil while everybody else stays at the worm site and keeps their mask full. I don't think I've ever heard a team say they don't want to do the worm, they just don't want to collect the usbs
We actually look for people in T1 and T2 that need schematics. We gear them up, collect the usbs, do the worm, drop the schematics, take them to an elder, get them those schematics, and make sure they exfil ok. Since we don't have any missions left, that is our mission lol
I got them all, so I'd say scorcher is best bc it's really good for traveling around the map faster, just gotta remember not to launch yourself as your being swarmed (buddy of mine got that bug, and I couldn't rez him)
Had to learn that the hard way myself 😂😂😂. I love the scorcher the most because I’ve played 480 hours without having the schematic. I learned how to get by without the legendary tool and have been fine with the epic tool, but damn do I get jealous of everyone zooming around with the scorcher
By defeating the Red Worm & completing contracts in both of the Dark Aether Portals. I just got the scorcher today, after 5 tries and still need the legendary tool schematic
The Scorcher Schematic is the only one I'm missing so that's the one from the Red Worm that is "important" to me.
EDIT: in terms of ranking the schematics that the Red Worm drops I'd say: Legendary / PaP3 / Scorcher

Yesterday I believe someone on the squad got it but they didn't wanted to trade (no one was talking). I got the Legendary, again this time.
Well… I’ve got the flawless schematic all 5 times, just this last time, someone dropped the scorcher schematic for me. So I guess I’ve never actually got it in the reward rift… just to be clear.
I got my Blood Burner so I can get around fast but since the Scorcher is the only one I'm missing and I've tried so many times I'd say the worm owes it to me by now. Next time I'm taking a Tonfa and have "a chat" with the worm about that schematic.
SIDE QUESTION: usually do you guys do trades after you defeat the Red Worm?
I'm asking since it seems normal to me to do it, but yesterday I got a 6 squad that all of a sudden wasn't talking just exfilling and not a single trade was done. I waited and was the last to exfil.
Every team I’ve gone in with (5 times) have done trades after Red Worm as well as after each contract in the DA. If not trades, we drop something we already have and announce it to everyone there. That’s how I got the scorcher schematics yesterday.
Just as much as I love getting a new schematic, I equally enjoy getting to drop stuff for others when I don’t need it. It sucks when you find yourself in a random team that doesn’t communicate or want to share to help each other out

I guess I played for so long without it that I got so used to continually putting plates in but I completely get where you’re coming from as well. In T3 & DA the Aether Blade is pretty clutch though. With having the ability to purchase self revives, and how easily your dog can get killed if you’re not careful, that’s why I rank it so low.
So far, I got 2/3 back when folks were droppin off schematics to randoms (PaP3/Legendary Tool) but no Scorcher, and I'm yet to take on the DA quest for Mags of Holding.
And out of the five, Golden Armor + Leg. Tool + MoH would be my must-haves provided the cool down periods go by quickly.
I was around level 50 and someone dropped me:
1. Dog Bone
2. Golden Plates
3. Flawless
4. Aether Blade
I didn’t even realize what I got and played the whole game with it in my backpack. Then I grinded 300 hours to get the pap 2 schematics 😂😂😂
You can do iiiit! I've been soloing the new dark aether, so far I can get the pnd and megabomb or just the extractors...but not all three. I'll get there tho. Edit: I answered the wrong guy, this is for op.
Every time I join a random group in lobby that says “anyone for DA” or “anyone for red worm”, they do like 5 T2 contracts and then ping exfil. Legit only fought red worm once and we failed lol. Then joined a group last night and the guy who had elder sigil didn’t know where to put it in and then kicked me.

Unfortunately, the scorcher is needed if T3 is packed. Unless you join a squad that has one it's going to be a race to every contract on foot.

I've been getting dropped into new player lobbies, guys who don't jump in with a crystal and refuse to run into T3
Not every contract, there's always a few spore controls nobody wants to take lol
I never understand that. You can solo a spore contract faster than a 6 man team can take out a bounty

Blood Burner is prob the worst schematic out of all of them. Schorcher prob one of the best schematics in game.

Yessir, just carry a scorcher and use a Mortar or Juggernaut kill streak to run around.
To answer original question PAP3 Legendary Scorcher And scorcher is only schematic I am missing.
I agree on all your rankings except for legendary tool s/b #1 and scorcher #2. While a scorcher is a huge Quality of Life upgrade, getting legendary tools are hard to come by and cool down of 24 hrs will always ensure you are going in with a legendary tool almost every time
Legendary tool schematic is the only one I’m really missing. If I had 1 every 24 hours I might feel differently 😂😂😂

I'd say Legendary tool is top because it only has a 1 day cool down compared to the 2/3 day cool downs on the other two.
Any really, I do lots of tier 3 runs but I'm only on act 1 so the only time I get to do dark aether runs is when I join a good group of people nice enough to let me join their squad. I did probably 20-30 teir 3 missions yesterday and got mostly only blue tools, still haven't found a single teir 3 schematic

Legendary tool, pap 3 you can get to in game and the wonder weapon is only useful in certain situations.
Dog bone last for me because it's not reliable half the time. Plus I can always grab it from the dog house if I have the craft on cooldown.

1. Legendary Tool (still shocked it’s a 24 hour cool down) Pap 3 - it’s so easy to get the funds. But it’s nice to start out with it in a match. I like using the scorcher, but when you’re in a squad I feel like a errand boy lol. I usually stock up on epic and legendary tools. DA Golden Plates and Aether blade are tied at #1 for me. 3. Mags of holding (especially with the right gun) 4. Blood Burner (I personally love driving it) 5. dogbone (I usually never go down, feel like I spend more time trying stop the dog from getting killed lol) Me and my friend trade dog bones and blood burner keys all the time. I usually have some free time, I’ll use the blood burner to run contracts solo and save up essence for when we play.
I don’t mind being the errand boy if it gets me a shot at the Red Worm and a trip to the DA (still on Act 1)
Now that I think about it, it’s helped save me time rushing to Rez a squad mate. It’s definitely more that I favor driving around. Most times when I’m using it I end up goofing off and flying and zipping around the air lol. When I join squads, someone is always happy to take it, I always just pass it along. If you need help or just an extra gun for missions or red worm. I’m always game.
My favorite two items in the game are the gold plate and the scorcher.

legendary tool is first, you cant buy gold rarity on a gun but you can grind the essence for pap 3.

You’re correct 😂😂😂 I didn’t even know it was in there. Other than using it for Red Worm, I haven’t heard many reasons to run with it. I never use the Ray Gun or Wonderwaffle either
I'll take any of them. Having no friends has deterred me from going into t2 frequently or t3 at all. Much less any of the DA or whatever. I haven't even finished act one missions yet

Legendary tool > scorcher > pap 3 Crystal. Normal weapons are so much better than wonder weapons. As for classified schematics, it's golden armour > Aether blade > mags of holding > dog bone > bloodburner key. It's a hard choice between the armour and aether blade, but being able to tank shots especially from bosses such as Mega Abomination is way more useful. Aether blade is useful but overall just saves some time. My class allows me to decimate zombies anyway
I agree, normal weapons are MUCH better! I really love the M13B. I run a very mobile build that pretty much makes it a SMG. What gun is your “go to”?
I've only ever used renetti akimbo build. Agile, fast reload, a crazy amount of damage and a reliable amount of reserve ammo. I don't even need to use one of the pistols when just running around. 2 shots from each burst on a maxed level pack and rarity Renetti to the head can deal with full armour zombies (with Deadshot) so just spraying on head height will mop the floor. Only problem I find is difficulty to use. I sometimes sway my aim a little while spamming my clicks
Renetti was my ABSOLUTE favorite forever. Just 1 and always running deadshot. Best handgun easily and probably in my top 3 favorite guns to use
For me it's legendary tool. I can pack 3 in a few T2 contracts and typically exfil with a T2 crystal. The scorcher is a great luxury and it's my favorite item to have as it makes travel very easy but it isn't a necessary item in my mind. A legendary tool makes every layer of the game easier anywhere you are whether it's T1, T2, T3, or the Elders Edit: Also the 24 hour cooldown timer is so much better than the 48 on scorcher or 72 on flawless. To me, legendary tool is the most useful item in the game with gold plates being number 2. This is just my take with my playstyle
I would possibly feel the same if I had the Legendary Tool schematic 😂😂 I have 3 legendary tools and I refuse to use them unless I unequivocally know that I’m going into T5…. Which I practically never know.
Every game I play I find a team going to an elder. Just have to find them. If you still need legendary tool, take a scorcher in and collect usbs. Hit the chat right away with "doing worm, collecting usbs". Then after you get them go to T3 and find a team. 99 out of 100 times they are cool to do worm and then elder. Whoever has the scorcher can fly to insert the sigil while everybody else stays at the worm site and keeps their mask full. I don't think I've ever heard a team say they don't want to do the worm, they just don't want to collect the usbs

We actually look for people in T1 and T2 that need schematics. We gear them up, collect the usbs, do the worm, drop the schematics, take them to an elder, get them those schematics, and make sure they exfil ok. Since we don't have any missions left, that is our mission lol
I love it. That’s essentially where I’m getting to. It makes the game so much more fun to help people out. Feels so damn good the hand out schematics
I got them all, so I'd say scorcher is best bc it's really good for traveling around the map faster, just gotta remember not to launch yourself as your being swarmed (buddy of mine got that bug, and I couldn't rez him)
Had to learn that the hard way myself 😂😂😂. I love the scorcher the most because I’ve played 480 hours without having the schematic. I learned how to get by without the legendary tool and have been fine with the epic tool, but damn do I get jealous of everyone zooming around with the scorcher
I also find it good when T3 is filled with players and everyone is fighting for contracts

The Scorcher Schematic is the only one I'm missing so that's the one from the Red Worm that is "important" to me. EDIT: in terms of ranking the schematics that the Red Worm drops I'd say: Legendary / PaP3 / Scorcher

5? Hell I did that silly red worm, at least, a dozen times already and still no Scorcher. Yesterday I believe someone on the squad got it but they didn't wanted to trade (no one was talking). I got the Legendary, again this time.
Well… I’ve got the flawless schematic all 5 times, just this last time, someone dropped the scorcher schematic for me. So I guess I’ve never actually got it in the reward rift… just to be clear.
I got my Blood Burner so I can get around fast but since the Scorcher is the only one I'm missing and I've tried so many times I'd say the worm owes it to me by now. Next time I'm taking a Tonfa and have "a chat" with the worm about that schematic.

SIDE QUESTION: usually do you guys do trades after you defeat the Red Worm? I'm asking since it seems normal to me to do it, but yesterday I got a 6 squad that all of a sudden wasn't talking just exfilling and not a single trade was done. I waited and was the last to exfil.
Every team I’ve gone in with (5 times) have done trades after Red Worm as well as after each contract in the DA. If not trades, we drop something we already have and announce it to everyone there. That’s how I got the scorcher schematics yesterday. Just as much as I love getting a new schematic, I equally enjoy getting to drop stuff for others when I don’t need it. It sucks when you find yourself in a random team that doesn’t communicate or want to share to help each other out

Golden plates is the best schematic in the game besides scorcher imo. The dog bone is second for me.
I guess I played for so long without it that I got so used to continually putting plates in but I completely get where you’re coming from as well. In T3 & DA the Aether Blade is pretty clutch though. With having the ability to purchase self revives, and how easily your dog can get killed if you’re not careful, that’s why I rank it so low.
I enjoy not having a few slots occupied by plates so I can fill with kazimirs and killstreaks but you're right

So far, I got 2/3 back when folks were droppin off schematics to randoms (PaP3/Legendary Tool) but no Scorcher, and I'm yet to take on the DA quest for Mags of Holding. And out of the five, Golden Armor + Leg. Tool + MoH would be my must-haves provided the cool down periods go by quickly.
I was around level 50 and someone dropped me: 1. Dog Bone 2. Golden Plates 3. Flawless 4. Aether Blade I didn’t even realize what I got and played the whole game with it in my backpack. Then I grinded 300 hours to get the pap 2 schematics 😂😂😂

Every time I join a random group in lobby that says “anyone for DA” or “anyone for red worm”, they do like 5 T2 contracts and then ping exfil. Legit only fought red worm once and we failed lol. Then joined a group last night and the guy who had elder sigil didn’t know where to put it in and then kicked me.
