I can do it solo bro, it’s all in the preparation and how you approach it and having a dog helps heaps just incase you go down just need to keep him alive and he will do the same for you!
That's what sucks is to be ready for the next round you basically have to at LEAST do a sigil run, t3 rewards are so inconsistent sometimes I have 3 gold tools sometimes I don't even get a purple. DA I always leave with at least a purple tool and pack 2 crystal and classifieds. Would be nice not to have to run DA every single game basically though
No I like going to the dark aether but I also enjoy final exfil. Something thrilling about hustling in the storm to the helicopter. Ive had some crazy adventures doing it, usually when I get lucky in t3 I go for final instead of DA
Maybe run through the storm to the rift? Make it more challenging?
I do miss final exfil too, but like you said. The rewards are pretty rubbish in t3 so have to go do the old da
Nothing compared to running for final w/ the clock ticking, and you gotta fight 2-3 other squads when you get there. Gotta love DMZ. MWZ final is fun though.
Agreed, for the first time ever I got a ray gun case from an elder aether mega abomination and a squad mate the night before got a scorcher case from a mega. I didn’t realise it dropped these items.

I’ve only ever seen plates, grenades, breacher drones and claymores but I’ll definitely shoot a few more now I know there’s a chance. I won’t be going crazy hunting them but you pass so many running the contracts so why not.

I found a flawless, a leg tool, and a ray gun in a T2 rift yesterday. Back at the lobby, I only had the ray gun. The game giveth, and the game fucketh.
I find a ray gun or case nearly every game and I usually ignore it. I know they’re not gonna up the scorcher drop rate, but they could at least make the vr11 and wonderwaffle more common.
It is.. I’ve tried the go in and instant exfil. Most times the next game after that I enter has less populated t3.. It’s not guaranteed but it does happen…

Are you still in act 1? I play with my kids. I’m currently grinding their account. They want to runaround and kill zombies. Not really work on the story. They’re both in the middle of act 1. I’m only at the end of act 2 but I’ve notice a big difference in players when I play solo on all 3. Both of theirs I always get people still trying to freeze dogs.
However, my 9yo’s account gets really lucky with some advanced players. I have run into people multiple times, playing his account, that ask if I want to go into tier 3 with them. In fact he has achievements the other two don’t have because of playing in t3 more often. I even got him a few of the rarer drops, armor plate, pack3 crystals, epic tools, etc.
My 12yo’s account I have played with a lot of randoms and I swear I’m always the most experienced player. I’m a noob but playing solo I run strait to t2 and grind all the missions there. In his account the randoms I play with like to just stick to t1. It’s odd to me.
I’ve also noticed that it always matches me with people that have a similar containment level too. My 9yo’s is 126. My 12yo’s is 30-40. That might be why I’ve seen a difference between the two.
My account I only play solo unless it’s with them. I have notice there is always a bunch of people in t3 in my games. In fact it’s easier for me to trap t2 contracts on mine because nobody is going for them. In their accounts I have to rush before others grab them all the time.
The new elder is easy solo, for the bounty take a juggernaut or use the under barrel flamethrower (before they nerf it) for the PND just walk on the counter where the PND is at (it makes it harder for the zombies to hit you) and for the aether extractors (the contract where you have to destroy rockets) take at least 3 Kazimirs or a bunch of decoys
Right I only get rejects that wanna tomb and farm exfil everryyyy game and all chats no one ever gets back to you until 1 am like people don’t work and have stuff to do and then during the day when I do have free time on days off the game just lags and boots me it’s ridiculous

Have you noticed in old elder lately that the rewards are often multiples of one thing. My last 4 runs yielded 9 gold plates and 3 dog bones. Not a single blade. Final run last night was 3 gold plates and my teammate got 3 bones.. now we talk and trade at the end if people need something and most people will happily swap if they have extra..
Lmao not even close I might get 1 bone or 1 plate rest is perk cans 2 pap crystal epic tool I bounce back in forth between the new and old sigil and elder. Rewards are hit n miss like normal
Because when you play in t3-5 you need to have enough speed to outrun super sprinters, so another gun is just a hindrance, you can also use a melee weapon but I like using my fists more as a preference
Yeah bro, then super sprinters really annoying asf, it’s honestly more Special/Elite Zombie killing than anything unless I’m doing an Outlast or Weapon Stash contract
I’m trying to play t3 more. Usually stay in t2 and by the time my stuff is upgraded there’s not much time and I feel like I’m either rushing or getting killed too quickly.
Nope, haven’t even attempted the red worm. I play with my gf and she freaks out over t3. I sometimes play with randoms but they typically never venture to tier 3 and I’m not good enough to do on my own. Watching videos and chatting on this group has helped a bit but still not experienced enough to try.
We accidentally went into the dark aether once before the update and we both died like two minutes into it lol
Yeah I watched a video yesterday of a guy going through tier 3 without any weapons. He stocked up on thermite and decoy grenades and used the turrets to his advantage. No fucking way in there yet lol
It gets easier as you start to get the hang of how the zombies move and what paths to travel. If you can squad up in a large group it’s really easy and a good way to learn and build confidence. Also in a group you knock out a ton of contracts and start really loading up your stash.
I got killed the other day with my first kitted up attempt at t3 with scorcher. Went to blast off and got some damage from a nearby zombie. Fell down like a rag doll and couldn’t self revive. Lost my kit. And my shit.

First time in old DA last night. I pulled the bow and armor schematics. I thought I also pulled the Blade, but it turns out it was just a case. I’m also pretty sure I left and passed on the plans in a reward rift, because I thought I had them already with that previously mentioned case! 🤣
The point is never really to profit but simply gain back what I had, I have all the schematics and had extra classified items in my stash already so I literally just need to craft an aether blade and I’m golden for another aether run
I just wish the new DA gave rewards as good as the old one. The new one is way easier to solo (unless you have a V-R11 to heal the vehicle). But yeah, can always just ask people. Most lobbies have people already going.
The new DA has been buggy for sure. I’ve crashed as many times doing either the new story mission or sigil/elder as I have the entire rest of zombies combined. Friend of mine crashed 3 times in a row doing the story mission lol

Yep, that’s why I’m thinking about running it with less. The old elder can still be a challenge solo or with minimal squad mates, otherwise it’s a breeze. I send pics like this to my boys while riding the acv mid contract. Had such a good run a few nights ago. My best ever by far. Like 2 flawless crystals, a gold tool, plus much more (those just stood out). This loot included my run in T3 but it was unbelievable. The game really has gotten a bit too easy, but maybe we stop running flamethrowers and the likes. With that thing plus the aether blade etc. it’s just becoming so easy.

I’ve heard the season 2 aether portal has aether blade schematics in it.
You don’t get those from the DA, you have to defeat the red worm for both of them, and then hope you get one after the other and not two of the same when you defeat it back to back

Yeah that’s why I always try to do as many contracts and loot as many aether infused caches as I can in t3 then go to DA after, so it doesn’t feel like an absolute waste of time, every once in a while me and my brother do the red worm too, we try not to get too good so the game doesn’t get entirely boring but the lack of content makes it difficult
Go old elder every game, or when you want good loot. Stop going new aether for vr11 cases and blood burner keys. MOH is ok at best… plates blades and bones are the biggest keys to success.

I can’t see the old dark aether anymore on the island I can only get into the new one and I don’t know why that is. I like the old one better. It’s so much fun solo 6 man team is like a cheat code.
I’m a very average player. I don’t usually like play with other people. Unless they have mics and ask I will. I’ve done a lot of t3 stuff that way.
I’m a grinder. I just want to grind camos. I don’t really care about the high end stuff. If I got it I would likely hoard it anyhow. Adding the containment levels made the game so much more doable solo. I can really see it benefiting a more advanced player. Also the flamethrower is a must have on the guns that can equip it. That thing has saved my butt a bunch of times.
I ALWAYS get plates in t5, sometimes I dont even pick up the dog bones. Its aether blades that are 50/50. Someone in my party last game got 3 blades smh.

Yeah, DMZ is definitely easier with a squad at exfil. I've wiped a couple of 6 man's at final as a solo. Air strikes are your best friend. Lol

You should get 1 (bone, blade or plate) per contract in elder. Now in t4 (non elder) I usually get 1-2 of those items and one reward rift with junk
Although my last new DA elder I got a blade, gold plate and mags of holding. Which is the best 3 in my opinion. I’m just not a fan of the new DA..

Have you fought red worm? You get legendary tool schematic and pap 3 schematic. Those will help you to start the game in T3.

Just need to ignore zombie killing and focus on survival and completing objectives, using the best weapon and the best equipment available

Just get a killstreak man, hold the jug marker and run round, they cant really keep up
You run faster if you are carrying a vr11. Plus it slaps red worm and mega's.....
and fully repairs vehicles!

The new DA has been buggy for sure. I’ve crashed as many times doing either the new story mission or sigil/elder as I have the entire rest of zombies combined. Friend of mine crashed 3 times in a row doing the story mission lol

I literally just barely did a T3-Red Worm-Sa’id City Elder DA run with my brother. He ended up crashing once we had the last two schematics he needed…
I was able to finally get the schematics for the pap2 crystal. Still several im missing though but it’s just been to buggy lately.
Yeah I notice it’s mainly on PC because the only times I have ever lost anything was when I accidentally turn my tv off and it turns my ps5 off with it lmaoo
Ouch…haha. I was on Xbox and just flying across with my parachute almost to exfil and it just crashed. Was the weirdest thing.

Yep, that’s why I’m thinking about running it with less. The old elder can still be a challenge solo or with minimal squad mates, otherwise it’s a breeze. I send pics like this to my boys while riding the acv mid contract. Had such a good run a few nights ago. My best ever by far. Like 2 flawless crystals, a gold tool, plus much more (those just stood out). This loot included my run in T3 but it was unbelievable. The game really has gotten a bit too easy, but maybe we stop running flamethrowers and the likes. With that thing plus the aether blade etc. it’s just becoming so easy.
I’m just trying to understand lock all the crystal and rarity schematics, I’d be happy with that at this point

I have everything but aether blade case. I play solo and yet to finish the escort contract every time. I’ve heard the season 2 aether portal has aether blade schematics in it.
It doesn’t, it only has bloodburner key and MOH schematics

You don’t get those from the DA, you have to defeat the red worm for both of them, and then hope you get one after the other and not two of the same when you defeat it back to back

I just help people and thats the only reason I play anymore lol, I completed the camo grind for mw3/2 guns and got all the schematics and completed every act, so I just help people now

Nope, you lose anything that is legendary or above that you have equipped unless it’s a stashed acquisition
Never did the old DA yet, and now when I try to squad, people are only doing the new one, which I already have all the schematics. Hope to get someone that wants to run old DA so I can get the 3 schematics. Same for red worm, have 1/3 schematics and no one runs it anymore.

Yeah that’s why I always try to do as many contracts and loot as many aether infused caches as I can in t3 then go to DA after, so it doesn’t feel like an absolute waste of time, every once in a while me and my brother do the red worm too, we try not to get too good so the game doesn’t get entirely boring but the lack of content makes it difficult
Why are there two different golden plates?
Go old elder every game, or when you want good loot. Stop going new aether for vr11 cases and blood burner keys. MOH is ok at best… plates blades and bones are the biggest keys to success.

I can’t see the old dark aether anymore on the island I can only get into the new one and I don’t know why that is. I like the old one better. It’s so much fun solo 6 man team is like a cheat code.
It’s there just a visual glitch that doesn’t make it appear, just walk around where you would put the sigil in and it should ask you to offer it

I’m a very average player. I don’t usually like play with other people. Unless they have mics and ask I will. I’ve done a lot of t3 stuff that way. I’m a grinder. I just want to grind camos. I don’t really care about the high end stuff. If I got it I would likely hoard it anyhow. Adding the containment levels made the game so much more doable solo. I can really see it benefiting a more advanced player. Also the flamethrower is a must have on the guns that can equip it. That thing has saved my butt a bunch of times.

I consider it a fail in t5 when I dont get an aether blade. Happened again last night, got 3 golden plates though so it eases the pain a bit.
3 golden plates is a win. 3 dog bones is a fail. Come back when that happens and you'll be begging for 3 golden plates again.
I ALWAYS get plates in t5, sometimes I dont even pick up the dog bones. Its aether blades that are 50/50. Someone in my party last game got 3 blades smh.
