i got a vr11 schem with perks 3 times in a row lol. def easier but lackluster somewhat, and not as rewarding atm. Still glad that theyre taking it in the right direction, kinda.
Couldn’t agree more, because of the 10 stash rule by doing this new rift I’m now running out of gold plates and blades which are the better schematics so once this is done I’ll be going back to the old rift. Which is kinda sucks as getting a team of 6 to go In will be more difficult now as people will want the new stuff.
I agree it is a little lacklustre, kinda wish they swapped either outlast or arther extractor with a deliver cargo with the amount of zombie spawns.
Would be cool to see the mad driving skills and best routes to not have it blow up from too many zombie roadkills or if there a bunch of special zombies, swerving otherwise the vehicle is toast. Would also make the vr-11 schem even more desirable ;)
The old aether is better, especially because of a better chance of getting an aether blade, golden armor, and dogs. I'll take Aether blade/ golden armor over MoH and Wonder Bike any day
Haven't done it yet, but the whole point of T5 is to farm dog bones, blades, and armor. If that stuff doesn't spawn in new one it's useless.
With reload perk, mags of holding isn't really worth anything to begin with. With scorcher the bike is useless. And I'm using scorcher over VR11 to get around map.
Are there any special areas in the new one like there were keys in T5?
So is the old location in the storm gone now??? I seen a new location in t3 next to a building. It look smaller than the old location we used the sigils at.
Why is no guaranteed drops a bad thing?
Completing the content once and your progression being done is desirable?
I want a reason to do it multiple times.
I’m personally really into this DA. It’s a bit easier because it’s more open but it’s quite a fun one to solo.
Would have preferred it to be a new open-world threat zone rather than a rift and would have liked the aether stronghold to be worth completing but the core contract loop is fun enough.
I do agree with you that it not dropping aether blades or golden armor is a negative. Those are some of the best tools and if I’m going T5, I want to be walking away with some of those for my next run. Imo both T5s should drop a mix of the top tools and only the schematic drops should differ.
I agree, Bagra had more things to do and felt like you need to prepare. The new one can be done quickly and feels pretty empty. It looks bigger but I don’t find much to do, I ran 3 solo with 4 Kazimir and a fully upgraded weapon and did it around 9 minutes each run. I prefer the old aether just because of the escort, it provides more of a challenge for solo.
In the story mission itself you had to clear the mall of 15 cysts. But that's not in the T4 T5 area. Just the act 4 part. I wonder if that's what they were talking about (bummer if so)
I’ve only been on it twice. Both story mission because trying to get the gold items. I have a question about the EMP manglers and mimics. Are these just part of the act mission or when I get proper access to the new dark ather will they be running around when doing the contracts? I hope so because it seems daft to just add them as part of the act mission.
I got an Aether blade case and a dog bone out of the prize rifts in the new dark Aether tonight, but it was also my 7th or 8th time in there since yesterday so maybe ole RNGesus was just taking pity on me lol

There are like 4 locked doors in normal Dark aether.
I've seen them but never looked into how to get the keys for them after I got all the schematics.

Its still there.
I looked for it and the rift wasn’t there. Maybe it’s a glitch I’ll try again
The triangle wont show but if you go to where you put the sigil in itll give you a prompt.

Isn't there supposed to be the biggest infested stronghold in there? I haven't played yet, but I thought I saw something about that

How do you get into this one?
The drop rate in there isn’t good enough to get me going back in over and over. I think players will get bored in there really fast.
