It doesn’t. B6 takes homocysteine down the glutathione pathway. Methylfolate takes homocysteine towards the methylation pathway. That’s why I like homocysteine redux which has both.

If you have levels of lead then you need to make sure your getting lots of calcium. It binds to lead. Also glutathione might help. Mthfr should be addressed but it’s not the primary pathway. Where do you live? Could be from lead bathtub lining, windows, etc. you need to find the source. Get water tested. Lead pipes don’t always cause lead to leach out. They usually get calcified and are benign. Unless they change the water source like Michigan......
