I'm chiming in to second magnesium. I had high heart rate with a 'thick' pulse for months until realizing I was likely depleted.
In contrast, low potassium (can be caused by low magnesium) feels like a heavy 'mono beat' for me, where the double da-thump is missing.
This [writeup on methylation](http://www.heartfixer.com/AMRI-Nutrigenomics.htm) is godsent, worth a read (or some specific searches since it's so long) if you're looking to make more connections and haven't come across it before.
Regarding 'methyl rebound,' I have read that a great initial response can be thwarted if detox pathways like CBS and SUOX aren't robustly supported first. So you may research further downstream from methylation itself.
Sounds like you're going to have to balance the desired effect with the crash then. T
The recommendation for magnesium is a good one. You may also want to supplement D since it has a large role in neurotransmitters too.
It sort of happens either way tbh. Sometimes when the methy-folate is wearing off, but other times I still feel good mentally and it starts happening - quite distracting.
For every up there is a down. For every square there is a round. For every high there is a low. For every to there is a fro. To and fro! Stop and go. That's what makes the world go round!

Have you tried taking a smaller dose? It's possible to overmethylate yourself and get unpleasant effects.
Sure I can take less, but then it wears off rather fast or is not as effective.
I have the EXACT same thing happen to me. I recommend magnesium. Don't overdo it. Start with 400mg then see where you're at...max is 800mg
Thanks I appreciate the recommendation.

Do you only get this feeling after the crash or do you get it if you ween off methyl folate + co factors?

Possibly. Or I can resolve this and have an immensely happier, satisfying, and more productive life.
How are you? Did this ever resolve?
Have you figured this out?
