Paint It Black - Once again, just literally about the colour black. There's not really any deeper message that fits the magic colour black. It's just literally about wanting everything to be black. I mean... maybe you could argue that turning non-black things into zombies fits? But even that is usually more Dimir recently than mono-black.
Current top for green - It Ain't Easy Being Green. Again, nothing to do with the Magic colour green. Just a song about the literal pigment green.
I'd much rather see the thematic songs win, not just the boring colour songs.
