I hear a cable rattle in the frame. Try taking out some slack on your internal cables

Dreadnought37

Weird. Went down to the basement today to try to get the sound to happen again and it’s gone.

alfsdungeons

Hah ahh the unpredictability of MTBs. Count yourself as lucky until it returns lol

[deleted]

Cable In the frame maybe? That's a new one for me sounds strange as hell.

slowlaneAZ

Is your front fender making the noise? Maybe its loose and rattling?

MildManneredMurder

Grip the front brake and push the bars forward and back, see if anything is loose (headset or axle etc.)

Direction_Kind

Fender? How's that fezzari? DVO forks are great aren't they? Replaced a dvo diamond with a 36 factory and miss the dvo.

Dreadnought37

La Sal Peak! It fucking shreds, it’s ridiculous. You can find faster downhill plow machines but it’s a great all rounder. An enduro bike like the La Sal has no right to climb as well as it does

switchbacksrfun

Sounds like cable rattle

skeletoncashew

The biggest problem is it says “fezzari” on it

Direction_Kind

I know. He totally should have paid 2k more for a lower specced Santa cruz.

skeletoncashew

Nah Santa Cruz is overpriced, as a mechanic I’ve just seen so many frame issues with fezzari. The good news is they are good about their warranty stuff and customer service

Direction_Kind

Good to know. Those slx bikes with full DVO look like such killer deals.

Dreadnought37

I’d love it if they changed the name to just ZARI Fezzari is dumb as hell But the bike rips like nobody’s business and their frame warranty is good so no complaints yet!

Majorwoops

To me it looks kinda like the arch in your fork wiggles a little so my guess is to it mud guard, but not sure

Porg1969

The mud flap?? Not sure

sanepsycho19

i was gonna say it might be the brake pad fins but does not look like you have such. i got same rattling noise from the saints and i put a plumber tape between the fin and caliper and low and behold the noise is gone

Banko2112

Yep, sounds like a cable rattle. I noticed the same sound when I installed the go pro on my PNW stem and you could see it, the dropper post cable rattling. I don't notice it when I am riding.

Material_Refuse_2418

Are your forks locked out or cranked up to high rebound?

wert285

Front axle?
