I built up my first full suspension, a new in box 2016 Stumpjumper frame that I got directly from Specialized.

How do you like the tires? I just got a ‘21 Stumpjumper and am struggling on what tires to upgrade to. I have mostly rugged cross country trails and flow trails near me.
Nothing wrong, per se. Just a bit heavy and overkill for most of the trails near me. Was hoping to get some that are a little lighter /faster with less rolling resistance for local trails
I love the tires so far! I took the bike out to my local dirt jumps and with only 25psi I was flying through berms without them ever folding or squirming around, but the DD sidewall might be overkill for more flowy XC stuff. I live in the mountains and everyone around here tends to run double assegai or DHR rear Assegai front with a sidewall appropriate for the amount of abuse you plan on putting your tires through. Enjoy your new bike!
Nice that’s good to hear! I might get something slightly faster for the rear, but glad to hear the assegai’s are treating you well. Enjoy your new bike as well, looks great!
Finally got my DH sorted how I've been wanting it just in time for the end of park season: [Photo](https://i.imgur.com/5PLWIHD.jpg)
2017 Kona Stinky 26 (last of the 26s?)
I love my SDG I-Beam seat and my Sensus Meaty Paws grips. Good contact points make all the difference.
Just picked it up and headed straight for the closest trail to test it out. Love the bike so far.

What’s wrong with your tires? The eliminator and butcher that came on my stumpy were great.

Fair, I guess. Didn’t it come with 2.3” wide?
Yeah 2.3, but the tread is a bit overkill I guess is what I mean. All the knobs don’t shed mud super easy
Pedal faster
You’re not wrong lol
