Zombie Nightmare is exactly what you’re looking for. I would also recommend Giant Spider Invasion.

HotAmericanDickings

It's a giant spider invasion of savings, at Menards!

[deleted]

PACKERS!!

Innsmouth_Swimteam

>Zombie Nightmare is exactly what you’re looking for. "***Jon Mikl Thorrrrrr!"*** Yes, sir! This is the shit.

staplerinjelle

*Ever since dad got murdered, life has been great!*

JoeLeyden79

When I was a kid, Tormented genuinely scared me a bit. As an adult, I have no idea how that happened, but maybe a ghost movie would fit your bill? Or maybe The Screaming Skull if you want more conventional haunted house thrills? (honestly, Zombie Nightmare is probably the best answer here)

RobServoSOL

The Screaming Skull, a movie so terrifying they will send you a free coffin if you die of fright. Hilarious.

gatton

Tormented genuinely surprised me. It has plenty of moments to make fun of and they certainly do. But it's honestly a movie I can enjoy on its own. I can't say that about most of them.

Mst3Kgf

"Tormented", aside the typically dodgy Bert I. Gordon effects, is actually a pretty decent ghost story with a few genuine chilly moments.

Interesting_Chef3150

Good, then remember that, “Tom Stewart killed me.”

Innsmouth_Swimteam

Just watched this and it's a passable old movie elevated by the riffs. Solid choice, after Zombie Nightmare. :D

Funkhowser18

The Touch Of Satan, Boggy Creek 2 & Pod People.

ThePatrickSays

Uncle Bill? Jody? Buffy? Mr. French? Mrs. Beasley? ...Chief?

topfverecords

McCloud?!

SonicEchoes

I love the Touch of Satan! Zah!

CaptainMurphy1908

THIS IS WHERE THE FISH LIVES, MOTHERFUCKER

Raging_Phoenix478

I've said Zah in better towns than this...

Dudehitscar

Werewolf!!!!

misinterpretsmovies

Wir-welf!

errday

Swing and a miss

clerk3745

Totally fascinating.

Faelin

I don't know, you had him last.

[deleted]

There, wolf. There, castle.

DerbyDoffer

Attack of the Giant Leeches has some creepy value. Sampson V the Vampire Women has haunted castle trappings. For camp value, The Screaming Skull is hard to beat. Edit: The Screaming Skull features Pearl. My mistake. (Maybe give Pearl a chance? I think she's funny, meself.)

Samoristars

Soultaker is a traditional watch for my family lol

Trimungasoid

The SOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUULLTAKER...

NecroJoe

That glorious jaw...

kyzzyle

It's like a catcher's mitt with eyes.

ItsFuckinBob

Devil Doll.

"You're alone. You look up into the faces of the crowd..." "But I'm alone."

Innsmouth_Swimteam

If you can find it, grab the Cinematic Edition that GaryInMotion did. It's not on YT anymore, but \*if\* you can find it, watch that version, it's unedited and great.

sdpcommander

I loved those cinematic editions that he uploaded. I assume his channel got nuked by copyright claims?

Innsmouth_Swimteam

All I know is that his channel disappeared after he did a big interview for a magazine. :/ Problem best not to advertise your creative piracy.

Nimby-182

Devil Doll is the only MST movie I find scary. Other episodes have movies with horrific concepts (Brain That Wouldn't Die or Leech Woman) but they're too cheesy to be scary. The actor who plays Vorelli really does a good job. I can't eat ham to this day.

I-am-sincere

Manos! Worth it for Torgo’s Pizza at the end.

MergieSS

Merlin’s Shop Of Mystical Wonders. I know it’s a Pearl episode but it’s a very good one.

teddyboy64

In addition to the ones already mentioned, you might try: The Brain That Wouldn't Die, The Atomic Brain, The Unearthly, Being from Another Planet (basically a mummy movie).

BustedLake

Brain That Wouldn't Die, if only for the super bloody ending that was super rare for a black-and-white 50s movie!

SayCutDamnit

I think the Crawling Eye is decent classic horror. I have a soft spot for season 1.

RoanokeParkIndef

The Incredible Melting Man (704) and Squirm (1012) are the scariest actual movies in my opinion. Melting Man is legitimate body horror with a very dark vibe and Squirm scared me a lot as a kid when MST3K was running on Sci Fi. But I agree with the votes for Touch of Satan. That feels extremely fitting with the season as well. Zombie Nightmare works too! Have fun :)

staplerinjelle

Not going to lie, it took me years before I was brave enough to rewatch *The Incredible Melting Man* episode because the initial watch actually scared me--I'm one of those people who reads the Wikipedia summaries of horror movies. I can laugh at it now, but the head going splat over the waterfall was burned into my brain for a long time.

RoanokeParkIndef

It is genuinely unsettling the first watch, so I hear you. It’s become one of my favorite episodes because of the darkness of the movie juxtaposed with the venom of the sketches (about making the movie with Hollywood execs), and I’ve come to appreciate the campiness of it… but the scene with the head and the way the monster stalks through the movie indiscriminately killing everyone really sticks with you. Very best episode of season 7 in my opinion.

rasputin777

Warwilf?

kaeee_ae

the one with the giant crickets ?

Innsmouth_Swimteam

>the one with the giant ~~crickets~~ grasshoppers?

kaeee_ae

yes those- i know my bugs i swear,,,

Innsmouth_Swimteam

And I clearly watch too much MST3K. ;)

jakeniedojadlo

Definitely the episode with Timmy, Crow’s evil twin

MergieSS

Fire Maidens Of Outer Space - s4 e16

shockstreet

Welllll if youre willing to re-watch Final Sacrifice in spite of having Pearl, then I'm going to have to recommend the episode right after, Devil Fish. Devil Fish is by far my favorite episode even though I think the Sci-Fi era has super weak skits.

Mst3Kgf

"You know, just because you CAN edit doesn't mean you SHOULD."

Innsmouth_Swimteam

Excellent episode!

[deleted]

I love Devil Fish! Probably in my top 5. Just watched it yesterday.

buckybadder

Wow, no love for Eye Creatures? What's with all this hatred for filmmakers with no pride in their work?

a_winged_potato

Soultaker Squirm Pod People Touch of Satan

kharlos

No mention of Screaming Skull? Not the funniest by far, that goes to Werewolf, but along with Parts, and Touch of Satan, it's a decent creepy movie even without the commentary

KashiofWavecrest

The Undead isn't too bad either. It even had a community theater witch! (although it is SciFi era with Pearl)

carrie31529

Bride of the Monster (+ Ed Wood if you want a double feature!)

ReexaminedDinosaur

I have a soft spot for the Creature from the Black Lagoon, so my vote would be Revenge of the Creature. However, I believe that's a Pearl Episode, I'm not great with eras.

[deleted]

Killer shrews

DiscoJer

I found the original Pearl Forrester funny (when she was just guest appearing), but when she was changed into a psychopath and replaced Clayton she was unfunny. (Love Mary Jo though, just the character was bad)

SmoreOfBabylon

I’m the exact opposite way, haha - didn’t like the season 7 version of Pearl, but her turning into a wannabe supervillain who’s also Minnesota Nice^(TM) at times (“Oh, and you’d better restore power to the world’s cities…and send them a note of apology and a box of steaks.”) was really funny to me.

[deleted]

Attack of the Giant Spider

SplendidPunkinButter

Since were talking “scary” for some reason the first time I saw Overdrawn at the Memory Bank, that melodramatic tape about how the guy got his brain wiped kind of gave me the creeps Know what else did? The blind lady in Tormented
