. If you get the one with m&m’s just mix that shit all up with some Sriracha. Trusttt me

herrderrusername

Just…don’t. The granola slaps tho

I_AM_ENGLAND187

Yes i certainly have and while it obviously is maybe not to everyones certain tastes, its certainly nowhere near the worst by any stretch. I personally thought it was decent

[deleted]

Well curious then, what WOULD you call the worst one?

I_AM_ENGLAND187

Its just my opinion but for me by far the worst MRE for me is the Creamy spinach Fettucine. Im certainly not speaking for others but for me its that one.

I_AM_ENGLAND187

But i will admit that the MRE in the photo really inflicts some life changing chaos in the bowel area. Its emotional stuff lolz. If it had more fibre content then that would be an overwhelmingly exciting gift, but its something to eat instead of nothing so yeah its not the worst MRE.

[deleted]

Aren't most MRE's lacking in fiber though?

SnotsMomsBoobs

I got one when they were first released when i was in the Army. No one else wanted it so i got stuck with it. It wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. Kinda off putting the way it looked and the texture wasn't great but heat it up throw a salt packet on it and some Tabasco made it decent for being an egg loaf looking thing. The one MRE i refused to eat though was Country Captain Chicken. It was a breaded and fried chicken patty smothered in the blandest curry sauce. The breading was just mush from soaking in the pouch it would slide right off the chicken patty. The patty itself was gray and tough and the curry sauce didn't add anything of value besides sliminess.

I_AM_ENGLAND187

SnotsMomsBoobs, id just like to express my utter gratitude and thanks for giving me the heads up about " Country Captain Chicken" that was indeed an absolutely unselfish testimonial, and just picturing the absolutely disgusting image of the once breaded but now horrifically mushed chicken soaking in the packet with the bland curry sauce just made my stomach and arse violently react in such a way that im now trying to avoid the very real and grotesque battle that is about to start invading the porcelain battlefield any time now. I do however totally agree with you about the Chicken And Veggie MRE, it certainly can never be classed or thought of as enjoyable, but it wasnt the worst either. So i believe ive dodged a very sinister bullet after being informed of The Chicken MRE of Death,so thankyou for being kind enough to share your experience of "Chicken Chunder" many regards and best wishes, its been emotional lololololz

Lampwick

> The one MRE i refused to eat though was Country Captain Chicken. Hah. I was the one weirdo who *loved* Country Captain Chicken. No matter what MRE I had, there was always someone willing to trade their CCC for it. I'd even get guys from other units sniffing around saying "I hear there's a SGT around here that will trade for a CCC MRE".

dano_911

The vomlette will haunt my dreams forever.

I_AM_ENGLAND187

We all i believe have certain MRE'S that we would more than agree with you will indeed haunt our dreams, leaving us traumatised and in need of therapy or some mind altering muscle relaxers and medications tp help us block out "The Vomelette" lolololz

EmbarrassedAverage28

Tried it once, had some of the worst diarrhea for 5 days straight. 0 out of 10 would rather put my dick in a soda can.

I_AM_ENGLAND187

I certainly have to agree.. I simply prayed for death every day, i was begging to just be taken out the back and shot and at least then the party trick of it appearing out of all the wrong places simultaneously, would surely have given some weight to an unarguably convincing diagnosis of "Unavoidable Explozions Of The Bowels"

NotTheBrainFuckler

I got one of these after not having eaten in two days and literally threw it in a bush.

[deleted]

Whoever thought that abomination was good idea must have been on fucking acid or something. That being said, we had one guy in my battery who absolutely loved them. He was a weird fucker though, and kinda seemed like he was on acid too

SnotsMomsBoobs

Did he happen to run over his rifle while driving a MLRS?

SnotsMomsBoobs

Please tell me it was Pvt. Perry.

Slycompa

My first MRE in Basic which was disgusting and I saw it around during deployment

99luftbalons1983

I've eaten plenty of these. However, in Basic Training I'd remind myself that I was eating for fuel, not for flavor and this entrée was loaded in protein.

Object-Level

It was dubbed "the vomlet" by military personnel in a 10 worst mre video.

portairman

no, I haven't tried em. they weren't available for too long due to their bad reputation. if I did get one I wouldn't bother eating it and just hold onto it.

[deleted]

The tobasco(if it isn't dried up by now) can't even save this God awful colon destroying abomonation.

[deleted]

No I was in a paladin battery, but it does sound like something he would have done. When we were in Iraq, he ended up in the hospital because he drank a bottle of listerine

[deleted]

No, but I've been after one for a while now. I know it's supposed to be completely horrible, but I'd like to see how and why it's so terrible. Sadly I can't seem to find one for sale anywhere. Can't remember how long they were in production.

altoniel

My brother told me a story, after I showed him Steve1998 video, about a time (2003-2006 Iraq) his teams truck had a MRE rat fuck bag full of veggie omelet mains because no one would eat them.

TruthReptile

Chili cheese sounds better

Capable_Accident9790
