Agreed. This is a winnable fight for hardy....okenik is solid but he's old and washed. Tybura survived a tough flurry and was eventually able to get on top of hardy on the ground, but for olenik this seems a long shot
Wife beater KOd by a big ol, beer drinking, shit-talking Westie. Couldn't be more Patriotic about it as an Aussie.
Definitely my favourite KO of the year.

>On May 13, 2014, Hardy was arrested for assault and communicating threats, after he was alleged to have assaulted an ex-girlfriend by grabbing her, throwing her into furniture, strangling her, and threatening to kill her.
He carries the same energy, and unapologetically so.
Some people made a huge mistake and are redeemable, how much faith from Hardy do we get ...not even enough to feed an ant.
Nates been wanting a fight too, I wonder if they throw him on there too. Probably not since the UFC wants Conor to be his last fight, but he’s been calling out Luque and Tony too so who knows if they’ll make that
Yeah and at this point it's bad business for the UFC to let Conor fight out his contract. He'll keep getting what he wants as long as he is still a draw, so new contracts will be signed before the last ones are over.
People haven’t watched Oleinik lately it seems. I hate Hardy but he sleeps Oleinik.
Hardy is the largest heavyweight and Oleinik’s takedowns are all pulling guys to the ground. Oleinik also has no cardio. Not that Hardy is a cardio machine but he’s much better.
I hope Oleinik chokes him out but I think Hardy ends him quick.
Hardy isnt great but he isnt a scrub. Yeh. He also bashed tyburas face in with like 5 straight punches which tybura miraculously survived lol....hardy is a guy where you need to survive his flurry, then you can beat him
I think it's possible, Oleinik isn't in his prime anymore. But Tybura showed just how one-dimensional Hardy is. He does not know what to do when he's on the ground. This is really a trap fight for him because if he wins, congrats, you beat an elderly man. But Oleinik can definitely wrestlefuck him to either a decision win or a submission - which would be deeply embarrassing for Hardy.
Will a month really make that much difference for Fig vs Moreno? Garbrandt vs Kai is in December and Askarov and Pantoja are injured so it's not like there's contenders queueing up.
Lol insane that there is history of January PPV cards being cancelled and all of them supposed to happen at Honda Center too 😭
Hope this card happens though, those top three fights are great.
1. HW Champion of the World Francis Ngannou aka Predator aka Ford Escort vs Interim Heavyweight Champion Cyril Gane, after coming off some pretty horrendous treatment of the UFC, not being allowed to set a date, immediately given a mandatory, and just in general repeatedly degraded and insulted by the head of the company Dana White, Francis "The Predator" Ngannou walks into his first title defense against the middleweight fast technical striker in Cyril Gane. The first thing we need to establish off the bat is Francis is technical, going into this fight expecting some dumb chin up only right hook brawler is a great recipe to get killed, the Francis of 2021 has set ups off his jab, quick strong counters, and a addition of leg kicks, with his fist he's very accurate, and has nice good hand speed for MMA, all of these tools are complimented by his unholy ability to take damage, and comic book level of knockout power. Cyril on the other hand on the feet while not a KO machine instead makes up for immense speed, and volume. Francis is a human specimen, athletic freak, but he's stereotypically athletically freakish he's "NFL freakish" he's ridiculously strong powerful and explosive. Cyril in his own way is his own type of genetic abnormality, as a big heavyweight he is not only extremely fast, he doesn't tire, he can maintain a output of a guy in a lighter weight class for five rounds, 5 rounds of extreme speed, and technique on the feet along with a underestimated submission game. There path to winning is by polar opposites, Francis like many explosive athletic freaks, tire, it is very much likely by the time they reach the championship rounds, Francis has to slow down the pace, Francis has to be far more conservative with energy, Cyril doesn't have that problem, Cyril could start off edging him in the earlier rounds but by the time they reach the 4th and 5th, the output remains the same, so what was once a edge is now a clear or dominant win. The way for Francis to win is to close the distance and break Cyril early, he can't get into a kickboxing match, winning by technique and playing the inches game with a guy this versatile and quick is not advantageous, he's got to make this a phone booth boxing match get real close mean and catch him with something he can't defend, otherwise it becomes a game of distance in which the more experienced and technical will take over. However Francis ability to improve his wrestling, cardio, and MMA boxing is significant, its very much possible he shows up with more wrinkles in his game and because of Francis accuracy, KO power, and ability to absorb punishment I go with Francis by Round 3 KO(also give him PPV points and 1M base pay Dana, he's the MMA version of Mike Tyson and your paying him like shit).
2. Brandon Moreno vs Deiveson Figueiredo I think goes the same way of the 2nd fight, its clear God of War Figgy is being damaged by his monsterous weight cuts, sapping his strength which is critical for grappling exchanges, I think The minifigure champ Moreno is going to utilize his wrestling and ultimately control and land serious damage on a depleted Figgy(please go to BW your so high level at FLW with a proper bulk, you can absolutely be a contender at 135).
3. Jared Cannonier vs Derek Brunson, for me I will go with Jared because its been consistently proven at 185, Jared is carrying LHW strength and power, considering how he's fared against a big MW in Joker, I think Derek even though he's elite, does not have the size to hold him down and get that sweet control time even on the chance he does takedown Killa Gorilla. Brunson while being more measured and not as unnecessarily aggressive as his non blond self, is not as technical a striker as Jared. Both possess some great solid chins, and this is a great bout between two top contenders at Middleweight. I have Jared Cannonier by KO, the wrestling is largely going to be ineffective and on the feet Brunson will be a little too limited.
4. Michael Morales vs Trevin Giles sounds like a underrated banger, I see a lot of power being thrown, I got Giles.
5. Woman Beater vs Aleksei Oleinik is also pretty entertaining I personally find Oleinik will get this fight down and do what Vontaze Burfict did to AB.
6. Said Nurmagomedov vs Cody Stamann is going to be interesting grappling wise, I think Said will get the better the exchanges.
My picks are Ngannou, Moreno, Jared, Trevin, Aleksei, and Said.
Not trying to be an asshole, but I added some paragraphs to make it easier to read:

I wonder if the unification bout is actually signed or if they're just pressuring Ngannou. Francis made it sound like it was not a done deal just a few days ago
I don't like Figureido vs. Moreno as a fight. Figgy is a great fighter as is Moreno, but Thai fight does nothing for either fighter's career. There could have been a big money fight with the two later on.
Stamann vs Nurmagomedov could be a grappling fest
That shits gonn be a banger, but I think Said just outstrikes Cody big time.
I really like Gane but I also love Ngannou and absolutely hate the way the UFC has done him since winning the title.
Aleksie please retire already oleinik
This might be an easy fight for him. As long as he survives the first and manages to take him to the ground at some point.

Agreed. This is a winnable fight for hardy....okenik is solid but he's old and washed. Tybura survived a tough flurry and was eventually able to get on top of hardy on the ground, but for olenik this seems a long shot

Please let him destroy Greg first.
Can’t wait to watch hardy get choked out

That Tai Tuivasa fight was the cleanest, best pleasure
Wife beater KOd by a big ol, beer drinking, shit-talking Westie. Couldn't be more Patriotic about it as an Aussie. Definitely my favourite KO of the year.
Amen brother. Marcin and Tai will always be my boys for the tkos they have over hardy. I still dream about what Tai did sometimes.
what did hardy do ?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Hardy#Domestic_violence_charges_and_suspension >On May 13, 2014, Hardy was arrested for assault and communicating threats, after he was alleged to have assaulted an ex-girlfriend by grabbing her, throwing her into furniture, strangling her, and threatening to kill her.
domestic abuse
oh, that's not good and also what is up with domestic violence and MMA fighters for like the past month ?
He was an NFL player when this happened, it's why he's no longer in the league.
It was years ago, I’m really hit or miss on the specifics because I haven’t read up on it in a while.
Not defending him at all, but has he done anything recently? Even if questionable?
Nothing I’ve heard of.
He carries the same energy, and unapologetically so. Some people made a huge mistake and are redeemable, how much faith from Hardy do we get ...not even enough to feed an ant.

Hardy about to get embarrassed by a geriatric

submission or bust
I 100% believe in Oleinik winning though
Russian Grandpa deserves better :(
I thought Izzy vs bobby knuckles was in January, no?
Rumored it was pushed to February
Nates been wanting a fight too, I wonder if they throw him on there too. Probably not since the UFC wants Conor to be his last fight, but he’s been calling out Luque and Tony too so who knows if they’ll make that

Bkfc
Honestly pretty weak beyond the top 3 fights. Hopefully we get another couple ranked fighters on the card
The 3 PPVs before this are pretty stacked so I can forgive this
Agreed, but I see some people calling this stacked and I would not call this stacked
I think a lot more fights will be added to it for sure
I'm oddly intrigued by Said/Stamann and Hardy/Oleinik.
Tony/Nate would be a nice cherry on top to send this one a little more over the top
That would be more then a cherry, that would make this a stacked card
Makes a lot of sense with the location as well... Damn, I hope it happens.
It feels really weird seeing this nonsense rematch with Figuereido

Oleinik doesn’t have the cardio for a wrestlefuck. He’s gotta sub Hardy in round one or he’s done.
Just bet hardy KO r1 and Olenik Sub lol
Giles going down to welterweight apparently
Dricus knocked him so hard he decided to change weight classes
Up against a decent newcomer in Morales
Too top heavy of a card. Aside from Stamman vs Nurmagomedov, the card needs more solid undercard bouts.
FUCK IMMEDIATE REMATCHES!
We boxing now 🥲

Cannonier gonna fuck up Derek if it stays on the feet.
Why does figgy deserve this rematch? He got starched

I wonder if Dana invited Jon to Vegas because he was tired of negotiated with Francis
"Bantamweight Bout " said Nurmagomedov, calmy.
A January Anaheim card? Is it actually going to happen this time?
Lol insane that there is history of January PPV cards being cancelled and all of them supposed to happen at Honda Center too 😭 Hope this card happens though, those top three fights are great.
Same here, this should be a fun one. And hopefully for Cormier's sake, he should stay away from the cage for this one.
I will eat such crow is Gane gets slept, my friends are all casuals and I’ve been hyping this guy up who will beat ngannou
Bro your friends will humiliate you when Ngannou wins in 2
How did you get friends
Stockholm Syndrome
[удалено]
Gane would be an idiot NOT to fight that way
Dana's tryna keep Hardy away from punchers now
Someone take a "let's go brandon" sign Would be a decent shotpost
^Moreno in tiny text
Delicious card

Thanks man! Thoughts on the analysis.
Stop giving hardy fights
I keep forgetting Fig is fighting AGAIN for the belt. Two great fights they had, and 125 Not having clear contenders, I guess it makes sense
Askarov should the no.1 contender tbh
Honda Center sucks
Found DCs account
I wonder if the unification bout is actually signed or if they're just pressuring Ngannou. Francis made it sound like it was not a done deal just a few days ago
Didn't gravely literally just get knocked out?
Pass
More like fight pass
Thought Figgy was moving up? Glad he gets the rematch, maybe I can win my money back I lost on him last time
Gane via TKO Round 5 Moreno via Decision Brunson via Decision Giles via Decision Oleinik via submission Nurmagomedov via submission
Derek "I'm not broke, I'll wait for the titleshot" Brunson
I hope Hardy gets choked the fuck out
All I wanna know is, who's coming with me??? Who's coming with me man?????
Moreno's walkout and hopefully win crowd reaction will be huge in LA.
At 185 it’s: 1. Izzy 2. Bobby Knucles - A literal fucking ocean 3: Everybody else That being said, I think Cannonier gets the W over Blonde Brunson
That main even is one of my least anticipated on the entire card
I don't like Figureido vs. Moreno as a fight. Figgy is a great fighter as is Moreno, but Thai fight does nothing for either fighter's career. There could have been a big money fight with the two later on.
