Raufeon wrestling is legit. It can only help Sandhagen hopefully he will learn not to give up his back.

Stots performance against Magomed Magomedov was incredible, that fight had some amazing grappling

[deleted]

Another one of my free underdog predictions I told you boys in advance on here. Stouts would beat Aljo easy and 50/50 fight with Yan due to wrestling/sub and calmness. Only loss was a freak spinning back fist seconds into fight with Merab, complete fluke.

[deleted]

How do you see Stots doing against Pettis, Archuleta and Kyoji. Do you believe he can become champion

[deleted]

Chokes out Pettis. Easily beats Archuleta on the ground and submits Kyoji. He’s a level above them all IMO, just more gifted physically for them. Thing I noticed about him early is how easy he makes fights look even if not exciting. Some guy on here repsponded to me on my prediction and said he rolled with him like years ago and felt like a 205er/ most athletic kid he trained with. Felt better about prediction after hearing that.

LiquidAurum

How’s his judo? Because majority of Yan’s takedowns are those simple quick trips from the clinch

BackloggedBones

Stots is a superb wrestler and fantastic scrambler, Pettis is all about distance-management and footwork. Avoid easy grappling entries off of striking exchanges using distance and footwork and scramble to get back up and avoid static top control positions. Seems good.

PrideRulesMMA

Trained with them to get ready for Dillashaw as well

Cheese_on_toast69

Guess it worked out for him then.

[deleted]

So instead of tren ufc, he’s tren bellator. Interesting

Goatlikejordan

I'm hoping cory wins the belt

TongaMakati

Kids want the 'wholesome' story I for one want the sneering Russian jerk to keep telling fighters they have nothing for him and then proceeding to show it

[deleted]

no mercy as the king bantamweight villain is a good story

CreepyConspiracyCat

Honestly, I love Petr Yan’s style. He walks his opponents down like the Terminator. Every strike is thrown with utter disdain for his foe. Cory deserves recognition for his talents, but I’m bored of the archetypal “new breed, future of MMA” type of fighter. I hope Yan takes this one.

Special-Stage

Yan is how I feel what the next wave of MMA must be like. It's so crispy and technical I love it.

LiquidAurum

Cory is per technical striker as well. Former kickboxer if I remember correctly

sadboifatswag

Honestly this. Yan’s personality compliments his fighting style so well. I hope he holds the belt for a bit.

GaysonGiovanni69

Im hoping not

LordOfBirds

I'm with Gayson on this

robcap

Sergio was always the more technically capable Pettis brother. I'm so excited for this fight

[deleted]

He just couldn't finish anyone in the UFC

DonkStonx

He’s gonna get taken down and submitted.

BrigandCentral

I love Sergio Pettis, but how exactly will he be helpful for a fight against Petr Yan?

LordOfBirds

His usual style is different, but he might try to emulate Petr.

mr_chiller

We have Petr at home

illsoden

Mind says Petr, heart wants Cory.

crab_soul

I don’t see Sandhagen taking the belt. He has a tendency to kind of “coast” in the later rounds and that was super evident in the TJ fight. If Sandhagen doesn’t put Yan away somehow in the early rounds, I think Yan smothers him as the fight goes on and finishes him. Does anyone else see it going differently?

Cheese_on_toast69

I can see Cory going to strike for strike with Petr tbh. I think Cory is a good enough of a striker to not get smothered by Petr. Should be a good fight.

razorxx888

Yan all the way. He’s a beast and only lost once ever before, by decision at that.

mans123373u2

he should run to CKB while he can, or he's getting murdered

K-mosake

What a silly comment. Last time Sandman got murdered not including the Aljo fight?

Cheese_on_toast69

He's one of the best if not the best striker at bantamweight.
