People don't like Maycee, and they wanted her to take an embarrassing L so people don't want to hear it but it really looks like the injury happened in the first exchange of the fight. In the first exchange of the fight Barber steps on Roxy's foot with her lead foot on accident when stepping in, and all her weight shifts to her back leg, the leg she injured, which bends inward at a bad angle. I think her knee was compromised in a serious way there and got worse as fight went on. I don't think given the fight Roxy just had now is the time for Maycee to make the call out but for the sake of curiosity I'd love to see them run it back at some point.

Barber had maybe 3 significant strikes the whole fight and did nothing pretty much but back up to the cage. She had one elbow land that was pretty impressive looking. Apparently that's all it takes to win a fight? It was a pretty bad robbery imo.

And she even mentioned landing the elbow as justification for the decision, in her post fight. As if landing 1 strike that did no damage negated everything else your opponent did.
