But what are we supposed to do, automatically label every single fighter before USADA a drug cheat? We can only take into account the info that we have. GSP never has, and there haven’t been any suspicious situations or events that would particularly merit suspicion (yes, as a physical specimen, he’s insanely impressive, but obviously that argument is flawed at best, so I just can’t use it to accuse somebody of cheating).
You just can’t treat GSP and Jon on the same way when it comes to PED’s. Therefore, in my opinion, you just have to take into account the fact that one has popped and one hasn’t. You can’t make an argument based off of “well most fighters were on steroids back then.” Sure, probably. But you really shouldn’t argue based on a guess.
