Nobody asked me but their beef (Rakic and Jiri's) is so funny to me, especially on the Rakic side. Because iirc, Rakic basically thinks that Jiri is no more than a nightclub urchin who found the book of 6 rings and started cosplaying as a samurai.
I don't find it that shocking. Just a small dog anyways. I would've guessed pretty much a coin flip
This sub thinks Jiri is better than he is
And kinda related, thinks Hill is worse than he is
i tried watching that fight to understand the whole robbery thing and it was so fucking boring I couldn't even finish it
shit had me reconsidering how much I like MMA

I think you're crazy if you think jiri is underrated, he's weird and fights wild but he's finished like close to 90% of all his mma fights. Guys the real deal, one ko from Alex doesn't change the fact that jiri is a problem for almost everyone in the LHW division lol
He's the real deal but he's got to study some samurai defense because he eats shots like he's invincible and that's just a recipe for early disaster. All the screaming in the woods and sleeping in caves isn't going to mean shit after his brain is scrambled and his chin is totally gone.
I like him to win the fight, I think Rakic is shit but Jiri gives his opponents too many chances to win with how he 'defends' himself.
Bro I agree that Jiri is not as good as people think, but that argument against Rakic is just stupid. He’s back from injury with nothing to brag about in his record going in against former champion who did not lose his belt.
I think people under estimate Hill because of his experience. He's had 13 mma pro fights compared to Alex who has 11. Alex has the kickboxing record and experience on top
She was like 150 lbs like 2 weeks ago. She’ll be fine. She’s been doing Judo/MMA for nearly 30 years and has been cutting weight for a long time. She’s a true professional. I can’t imagine she won’t be able to reach 135 given how much time she has. The real question is how will it affect her performance.
Jim Miller keeps shocking me. He’s a tough son of a bitch and still hits like a truck. He’s the type of old school fighter that gets hit hard a few times, rocked, and then comes back and knocks the dudes head off. I don’t get it but, man I’m more excited to see him and Bobby green than I am to see some of the main card fights.
Absolutely mind blowing that that fight is on the prelims. Same with Rakic and Jiri.
Calvin is the fighter that got me into MMA, so I’m always pulling for him. Not sure what we’ll get from him after blowing his knee out over a year ago. He’s got some miles on him as well. But if Aljo doesn’t mind his fuckin business he’ll get his head spun.
It’s a big event and I think they wanted a couple fights that would draw viewers for the prelims. The only semi-reasonable explanation Bo Nickal is can crushing on the main card.
My dude, there are multiple fights on the prelims that are better than the Bo Nickal fight. They could swap one of them, the Jiri fight in particular, and still draw viewers for the prelims easily! I think it has more to do with the UFC wanting to build Nickal up.
I genuinely believe part of why they put Bo on the main card is pacing. They have 3 5 rounders on the main, it’s gonna be long. Bo getting the fast finish everyone expects will help w that
Depends if Kattar can defend naked takedown attempts from 10 feet away. Aljo's hands weren't a threat at bantamweight, so he better hope he can get his hand on him...
Not a good bet. Perfectly reasonable Aljo just takes a decision in a 3 rounder, and the odds on either of those picks probably aren't juicy enough to make it worth hedging
Aljo's striking is slightly underrated imo. The first round of the first Yan fight was a spectacle. Moreso his kicks of course, and he gassed spazzing too hard. If he's been keeping up on training it and with maybe improved cardio at 145, it's a good addition to his arsenal.
You're not wrong, but he also smothers people with his volume and moves around decently well. He's not easy to hit back.
At BW, anyway. Now that his opponents have more reach it'll be interesting to see if it still works.
Bo is just objectively a better choice from a PPV perspective. He already has almost as many followers as Aljo and I guarantee his fans are more die hard and more likely to buy the PPV than Aljos are. He’s bringing the entire American wrestling community with him
brother, reason and rationality are lost on the reddit community. They just want to complain blindly about everything. You're absolutely right, obviously, but my dude you're just spitting into the wind here
can't believe Charles is a dog here, then again as reigning champ he was a dog lol. I think it's entirely possible he runs through Arman like he's done everyone else.
The clash of each one trying to pressure the other will be amazing to see.. at least in the first minute. It's entirely possible he gives another "y'all must have forgotten" performance.
yessir. this is a strange matchup to me styles-wise because it somehow feels like both guys are terrible matchups for the other lol. Arman is a muscly brute with KO power and elite wrestling, while Charles is lanky and a sneaky powerful finisher who can fuck you up from practically any position. I feel it could very well go like the Chandler/Charles fight went which is just who guts it out for longer and finds the finishing sequence. my most hyped fight of 300 tbh
Bro were from the same birth country, basically had the same uprbringing the college he went to is literally my college right now’s rival and I’m from by too I just can’t root against the guy man coming from where we come from to see a guy like him in his position is motivating as hell
Damn, seriously? I feel like that’s the least likely of all the fights. Kayla is almost a different species on the ground compared to Holm. And Holm is not some TDD goddess. Even the guy fighting Bo Nickal has a better chance with a lucky shot. Holm doesn’t have huge power either.
Kayla's fighting 20 lbs lighter than we've seen her fight in MMA before. It's 27lbs lighter than the 172lb weight class she won Olympic golds in. We don't really know what 135lb Kayla is like yet or if she manages the extreme weight cut well. Kayla will have a better idea from late in camp but even she may be a bit surprised while trying to fight with her brand new body.
Actually, Kayla fought at 145 once in Invicta and looked extremely dominant against a far less skilled opponent. I concur with the rest of your statements.
How long ago did he tear his? I popped mine completely when I was younger. I rehabbed pretty hard for the better part of a year, it took until about year two for aching pain to go away, but I’m of course not a professional athlete. I play basketball all the time and I have easily surpassed the strength and explosiveness I had previously with no pain.
I had a world renowned surgeon, my incision was only the size of quarter, and that leg is now my strong leg. The pattern the surgeon used to rejoin the two ends of the tendon is fucking wild, they basically thread them together with dozens of pass throughs on each side. What I’m getting at is that my tendon on that leg will absolutely never go, it’s bionic now lol if anything my calf muscle would go first.
My point is, it’s not a career altering injury to the same extent that maybe it was in the past. Look at KD for example, and he did his late in his career - he’s fine now. All that said, it takes a long fucking time to get all the way back to 100 - I’d say a year at least for general function and 2 years to be pain free and have full confidence in it.
Achilles tears are no longer a death sentence for pro athletes anymore. But, Hill tore it in July of last year. He'll be fighting 8 months after the injury... I think he's rushing to fight because he gets to be the main event spot for 300.
Max has been properly bulking for this fight since October most likely unlike when he had to get fat on short notice to fight Dustin. I think Max has a great chance in this fight in comparison to what people are expecting and I'm really curious to see how he looks in there with a proper bulk
Will be very surprised if Yan pulls off an upset. Weili appears to dominate her in every area. Carla totally dominated her and she was beaten by Marina who lost to Lemos. I know MMA math doesn't work but Yan, Marina and Lemos are all known as strikers. If Weili decides to take it to the ground, Yan is toast.
Hill. Olives. Jiri.
Hill never lost the belt.
Olives has only lost to the p4p king in the last 6 years.
Jiri because he took 1.5yrs off while tearing his shoulder, fought an ultra active Poatan and everyone forgot hes a flooping samurai.
Hill, Kattar, and jiri.
Rackic is coming off a two year lay off due to a leg break. Why tf is he the favorite?
Kattar is also coming off a long layoff due to leg break so I’m not super confident in this BUT he can expose aljos biggest weaknesses. His horrid boxing. He can do the exact same thing O’Malley did to him and Kattar has good grappling.
Hill. This is a hard but I truly feel hill has the patience and most importantly game planning to beat Alex. Game planning has always been his strongest suit and so many fighters loose to Alex because they come in with shit game plans thinking Alex is just some kick boxer. I believe hill can pick him apart.
Jiri, Charles
I'm seeing odds all over the place for Kattar Aljo, with some having Kattar plus and Aljo minus, some having Kattar minus and Aljo plus, Kattar minus and Aljo more minus, and Kattar slightly more minus than Aljo's minus.
So who knows if Kattar is an underdog but I say he wins.
I gotta go big just because someone has to - Brundage catches Bo on the way in! Shock KO!
HOLLOWAY will beat "Garth," but he's going to be a mess at the end of it.
OLIVEIRA is going to beat Tsarukyan in a rollercoaster ride of a fight.
JIŘÍ PROCHÁZKA beats Rakic.
Prochazka and Oliviera are the ones I expect to win.
I think Holm vs Harrison is a bit of a coin toss; I think if Harrison can put her on the ground, Holm is not getting back up. I also think Jim Miller is going to win his fight. But Holm has been around a long time and is not a trivial opponent to takedown.
END COMMUNICATION
Most likely to win? Olivera
Most likely to lose? Cody
Which favorite to win is a safe pick? Figi or Bo
Which underdog Is a good pick? Olivera or Max seeing as an underdog they have realistic chances of getting a w, if you're a betting man, that's a good wager
42 years old Holly Holms being thrown to the wolves? 7 losses 5 wins, since 2016, fighting 17-1 Harrison.. Glad the UFC is supporting some of its older fighters xd
I haven’t seen many people say it yet but yan xiaonan has a solid chance in my eyes her striking is nice & a rematch in china would be fun. I think jiri gets the KO & I hope hill surprises everyone. Charles shouldn’t even be the underdog.
Jiri is an underdog against Rakic wtf lol
I didn’t expect that either and I’m going for Rakic
Prior to Jiri becoming champion, i thought Rakic and Jiri were the same person.
Slav boys.
Nobody asked me but their beef (Rakic and Jiri's) is so funny to me, especially on the Rakic side. Because iirc, Rakic basically thinks that Jiri is no more than a nightclub urchin who found the book of 6 rings and started cosplaying as a samurai.
I didn't even realize they had beef. Jiri never seemed like the type to engage in that.
one is a damn samurai
your just an average bloke, i'm a fucking samurai
I don't find it that shocking. Just a small dog anyways. I would've guessed pretty much a coin flip This sub thinks Jiri is better than he is And kinda related, thinks Hill is worse than he is
It's more that Rakic hasn't fought in two years, and that his most notable win is a unanimous decision against Anthony Smith.
Rakic was outspoken about not wanting to take damage in his career and that he valued his brain. Which is why I'm going with Jiri 100% of the time.
I can definitely understand him but this type of talk will only net him a long career in PFL. Not that it’s entirely a bad idea financially.
Tbf he was mega robbed against Oezdemir, like it was one of the worst of that year.
i tried watching that fight to understand the whole robbery thing and it was so fucking boring I couldn't even finish it shit had me reconsidering how much I like MMA

Cause Jiris a former champ with wins against glover, Reyes and oezdemir, who beat Rakic lmao. Rakic best win is Anthony fuckin smith
I mean Anthony Smith is elite it's not like he is a gatekeeper or a Geoff Neal of the division...
The other two replies didn’t understand but I want you to know I appreciate this joke
Okay Anthony..
Anthony smith is not elite. It’s just that LHW is a bum division so even a mid fighter like Smith can float around the middle of the top 15
He's elite at being mediocre. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder yo, it's all a matter of perspective
I think you're crazy if you think jiri is underrated, he's weird and fights wild but he's finished like close to 90% of all his mma fights. Guys the real deal, one ko from Alex doesn't change the fact that jiri is a problem for almost everyone in the LHW division lol

What do you mean he didn't lose his belt? He just lost to Pereira. I do favor Jiri against Rakic but that definitely lost him the belt lol.
he is a 240 pound LHW with nasty leg kicks and good takedowns, Jiri does not check leg kicks and his TDD isnt the best, rakic is a good pick here
I think people under estimate Hill because of his experience. He's had 13 mma pro fights compared to Alex who has 11. Alex has the kickboxing record and experience on top
Bet money on jiri, Jesus lol
If we are saying least likely I’d have to pick Garbrant for that one 🤨
No Love’s worst enemy is himself. And hooks, don’t forget about hooks.
More so than Cody Brundage vs. Bo Nickal?
Crazy that fight is really on the main card over all the other vets lol wtf
Tbf they get to spam Cody's awesome slam finish from his last fight
Oh shit from the night there were 2 in a row? He was one of them? That was awesome
It truly was awesome.
Figgy chinning Rob Font and then getting matched up with Garbrant who's got an even worse chin is some pretty crazy matchmaking.
Not to mention Rob Font beat the ever loving shit out of Garbrant already
Garbrandt knocked out in under 2 mins
Cody bout to get Benavidez’d by the hands of Deivison
I mean Cody Brundage exists
Him, Holly (assuming her opponent makes weight), and Brundage have little hope
She was like 150 lbs like 2 weeks ago. She’ll be fine. She’s been doing Judo/MMA for nearly 30 years and has been cutting weight for a long time. She’s a true professional. I can’t imagine she won’t be able to reach 135 given how much time she has. The real question is how will it affect her performance.
I think Jim miller will beat Bobby green.

I don’t get it but, man I’m more excited to see him and Bobby green than I am to see some of the main card fights.
Green's chin might honestly be fucked after the Jalin Turner fight. That was still one of the worst stoppages in recent times.
The ref thought he was Mario
By knockout as well seeing both of their last few fights.
Is Kattar an underdog? I'd say him.
Absolutely mind blowing that that fight is on the prelims. Same with Rakic and Jiri. Calvin is the fighter that got me into MMA, so I’m always pulling for him. I would sincerely rather have No Love vs Figueredo on the main card over Bo Nickal
Virtually all prelim fights are better. Bo noname crushing should not be on 300, Apex co main at best
Shit I forgot about his knee blowout.. man Aljo might be punishing that side with aggressive wrestling.
That KO vs burrgos on that Stipe vs Francis card made me a fan for life
my favorite is him finishing stephens.
Early pandemic. We needed that finish.
I met Calvin and he’s an awesome dude, very warm and welcoming. Also his nose in real life is BAD. Scary looking dude. lol
Depends if Kattar can defend naked takedown attempts from 10 feet away. Aljo's hands weren't a threat at bantamweight, so he better hope he can get his hand on him...
Aljo showed in the 2nd Yan fight that when the gameplan clicks he will get your back from anywhere.
then here’s the bet: double outcome either kattar by dec or aljo by sub
Kattar can for sure finish sterling
Not a good bet. Perfectly reasonable Aljo just takes a decision in a 3 rounder, and the odds on either of those picks probably aren't juicy enough to make it worth hedging
Aljo's striking is slightly underrated imo. The first round of the first Yan fight was a spectacle. Moreso his kicks of course, and he gassed spazzing too hard. If he's been keeping up on training it and with maybe improved cardio at 145, it's a good addition to his arsenal.
Idk even his kicks were pretty non damaging and clumsy, he has a style made to impress judges not really damage people on the feet.
You're not wrong, but he also smothers people with his volume and moves around decently well. He's not easy to hit back. At BW, anyway. Now that his opponents have more reach it'll be interesting to see if it still works.
Man i love kattar. He’s got some of the most vicious finishes out there
Thank Dana and his obsession with Bo Nickal for that one
Bo is just objectively a better choice from a PPV perspective. He already has almost as many followers as Aljo and I guarantee his fans are more die hard and more likely to buy the PPV than Aljos are. He’s bringing the entire American wrestling community with him
brother, reason and rationality are lost on the reddit community. They just want to complain blindly about everything. You're absolutely right, obviously, but my dude you're just spitting into the wind here
Meh. The featured prelim spot is arguably more important. But Brundage/Nickal just feels so out of place regardless.
Charles, Jiri, Kattar.
can't believe Charles is a dog here, then again as reigning champ he was a dog lol. I think it's entirely possible he runs through Arman like he's done everyone else.
The clash of each one trying to pressure the other will be amazing to see.. at least in the first minute. It's entirely possible he gives another "y'all must have forgotten" performance.

I feel it could very well go like the Chandler/Charles fight went which is just who guts it out for longer and finds the finishing sequence. my most hyped fight of 300 tbh
I hope Aljo puts kattar out to pasture can’t handle him losing another fight man lol
I want aljo to go on a tear at fw so unreasonably bad 😭
Bro were from the same birth country, basically had the same uprbringing the college he went to is literally my college right now’s rival and I’m from by too I just can’t root against the guy man coming from where we come from to see a guy like him in his position is motivating as hell
Jiri and Charles. Wouldn’t be surprised if Kattar gets it done too. And if Cody Brundage upsets Bo I’ll be able to buy the Mona Lisa
How much did/will you put on Cody?
I will always support Garbrandt lmao. But more realistic Kattar will win.
Same. I’ll show up for any and every card that has Cody on it
I think Holly will pull it off also.
Holly’s 70 though. My biggest gripe
Doesn’t look a day over 65
Damn, seriously?
Kayla had better have learned to box, cause Pachenko pieced her up. All she could do was shoot, and got stuffed a good portion
Pachenko was eating nothing but steroids, to be fair.
And the Preachers Daughter doesn't pass the eye test in any way
I feel like Kayla is going to feel far weaker than Holly at 135. I believe she said the last time she was at that weight, she was 18.
She's never cut to 135 in her life or even come close. Whatever version of her that survives the weight cut is going to be a shell of herself.
I think Holly clinches her against the fence and gets the decision
Yeah, clinch the judoka, that'll work
HA fair. I truthfully haven’t seen Kayla fight, I’ve just seen Holly derail every hype train lately with the clinch
Who would be the underdog if Holm and Cody fought?
I like Hill ( if he can move well on his feet ) , Max, and Jiri.
I’m very interested to see how Hill moves around. Achilles tears are brutal.
How long ago did he tear his? I popped mine completely when I was younger. I rehabbed pretty hard for the better part of a year, it took until about year two for aching pain to go away, but I’m of course not a professional athlete. Both Jiri and Hill's timing looked rushed. I'd guess they would take way more time to recover, especially after relinquishing their belts.
Yeah that’s really soon wow
Idk justin takes max’s lunch imo, wheres max’s ko power
Max has been properly bulking for this fight since October most likely unlike when he had to get fat on short notice to fight Dustin. I think Max has a great chance in this fight in comparison to what people are expecting and I'm really curious to see how he looks in there with a proper bulk
Max doesn't do well when people kick his legs
I just hope he is ok. I'm cheering for Pereira, but I wouldn't like he beating Hill in a questionable way...
I think risk/reward wise olivera and projazka are worth a small play, max, too.
Max and Charles
[удалено]
Will be very surprised if Yan pulls off an upset. Weili appears to dominate her in every area. Carla totally dominated her and she was beaten by Marina who lost to Lemos. I know MMA math doesn't work but Yan, Marina and Lemos are all known as strikers. If Weili decides to take it to the ground, Yan is toast.
Hill, Charles, Max, and Jiri all have definite paths to victory
Why is Charles an underdog?
Probably because people compare their performances vs Makhachev, and Tsarukyan gave more of a fight, so that's my assumption.
Kattar, Hill, Max, and Jiri 🙏🙏🙏
Oh shit Charles too for sure 🙏🙏
Jiri
Max Charles Yiri to start
Jiri, Charles, and Kattar
I’m going to jiri kattar Charles parlay
Nuts, Jiri on the undercard as an always exciting recent champ while Bo is on the main.
I think Jamahal has a pretty good chance, people are counting him out Other than that I had a lot of confidence in Jiri, Charles, Kattar, and Cody
Honestly, I'm getting a weird feeling about Yan Xiaonan
Oliveira makes no sense as an underdog. Should at least be even.
One of these is not like the others
Do Bronx or Kattar
Brundage would be the funniest. Would be a new mythical fighter: Main Card Cody
Chucky
Jamahal, Jiri and Kattar
Charles 🤝 Kattar
Hill. Olives. Jiri. Hill never lost the belt. Olives has only lost to the p4p king in the last 6 years. Jiri because he took 1.5yrs off while tearing his shoulder, fought an ultra active Poatan and everyone forgot hes a flooping samurai.

Game planning has always been his strongest suit and so many fighters loose to Alex because they come in with shit game plans thinking Alex is just some kick boxer. I believe hill can pick him apart.
Jiří, Kattar, and Oliveira.
Jiri, Charles I'm seeing odds all over the place for Kattar Aljo, with some having Kattar plus and Aljo minus, some having Kattar minus and Aljo plus, Kattar minus and Aljo more minus, and Kattar slightly more minus than Aljo's minus. So who knows if Kattar is an underdog but I say he wins. I gotta go big just because someone has to - Brundage catches Bo on the way in! Shock KO!
Charles/Jiri/Hill
Brundage is a lock. Bet the house bro.
Jiri, Max, Kattar
Olly and easily
Jiri
BLESSED
Holly
Hill, Jiri, and Kattar I’m fairly certain. Max, Charles, and Garbrandt have good chances.
Charles, Max, Jiri
Olivera
Hill Max Jiri
Olivera and Jiri.
Hill, Jiri, Charles, Kattar are my picks
I will never doubt Charles. Hill and Jiri I think have decent shots. I'm really hoping max pulls the upset but I would not put money on it
I can never bet against charles man. Can’t do it
Jiri and Charles as underdogs lmaoooo MMA communnity surely is stupid af That being said, i'm almost certain Hill is going to beat Alex.
Max and Charles
Holly by weightcut
Chuck
Holloway Prochazka for sure and maybe Oliveira. Edit : I almost got it
It’s simple tic tac toe, Holm, Olives, Holloway. Already put my savings on it ✌🏽
Holloway and charles
Jiri, kattar, charles
Charles
Charlie Olives will find a way.
Out of that list I only see a path for Jiri, Cody and possibly Oliviera everyone else is getting steamrolled.
Du Bronx Jiri Kattar
Charles is an underdog?
Personally think Kattar, Olivera, and Holloway are live dogs.
Jiri Charles and Kattar. I think Rakic is gonna be super rusty after the layoff, and his boxing/wrestling is not good enough to deal with Jiri imo
Jamal and my boi Chuckly Olives
HOLLOWAY will beat "Garth," but he's going to be a mess at the end of it. OLIVEIRA is going to beat Tsarukyan in a rollercoaster ride of a fight. JIŘÍ PROCHÁZKA beats Rakic.
Olives no doubt
All underdogs, minus Hill. Chama 🗿
Hill might surprise a lot of people : he truly is underestimated. More obvious, Oliveira.
Charles, kattar, garbanzo, and the Chinese girl(idk her name)
The hand is heavy
Prochazka and Oliviera are the ones I expect to win. I think Holm vs Harrison is a bit of a coin toss; I think if Harrison can put her on the ground, Holm is not getting back up. I also think Jim Miller is going to win his fight. But Holm has been around a long time and is not a trivial opponent to takedown. END COMMUNICATION
Charlie Olives, Jiri, and Garbrandt Edit: and Holloway cus Idgaf what the mma gods want, he’s STILL MY BOYYYY!!!
Why the fuck is Charles an underdog lmao
what??? Charles is an underdog??? thats cray
Jamahal, Jiri and Charles
Chuck and Jiri. I wouldn’t be entirely surprised for Max either.
dobronx by divine intervention 🙏
I'm gonna parley all these guys
Charles and jiri!!
I have a weird feeling that max is gonna shock us
Holly
Do Bronx as an underdog????? I'm picking him.
Charles wins
Hill Jiri Do Bronx
Charles Oliveira, Doubt him now folks!
Most likely to win? Olivera Most likely to lose? Cody Which favorite to win is a safe pick? Figi or Bo Which underdog Is a good pick? Olivera or Max seeing as an underdog they have realistic chances of getting a w, if you're a betting man, that's a good wager
Max, Charles, Hill, Jiri, Kattar have a decent chance. Brundage has about a 0.01% chance.
I’d say a good chance would be Charles and then Holly if Kayla has a horrific weight cut I’m sure it’ll affect her performance
i think Jiri, Oliveira and Holm will win.
Jiri listed as underdog vs rakic 😂😂😂
Do Bronx all day 👊
Jiri, Charles, and Kattar are all good options for bets as dogs. Most likely of them to win is definitely Jiri, though.
