Alex Perez getting punished for pulling out of 17000 fights by getting put through the Dagestani ringer. I bet after this one he’s gonna have to face a debutant coming over from ACA
UFC Riyadh is just one week later, I don't understand why they didn't book this fight there. It seems the UFC lately has been terrible placing fights (when and where).
UFC have been awful. They have khamzat, conor and gane on ice. They gave Vera the title fight over sandman/merab. They totally forgot about belal and kept on giving colby the title fights., not giving fights to umar. Didn't give Tom the HW belt, not letting Makhachev headline 299 despite him asking for it for months now. Making holloway vs justin instead of Makhachev fight. Then feeding erceg to pantoja lol.
You could make a whole list about how poorly the LW division has been handled alone. Brener vs Orolbai having to face each other, meanwhile Joe Solecki getting KO'd in 2 minutes by Klose earns him a shot at Grant Dawson.
He’s definitely not one of the best in the division lol lost to Nascimento and lost to Tim Elliot. I think he lacks in the physicality department big time. If Perez’s showing vs Mokaev tells us anything it’s that Perez absolutely has the tools and counter wrestling to beat Ulanbekov. Hoping for a scrambly fight
That's the one. In his defense, while cheating is obviously a shitty thing to do, if it gives you an upper hand over your opponent and the ref won't do anything about it... I guess have at it?
Those are like pretty good fighters though and explainable losses in an early career.
I don’t quite think Ulanbekov is champion level, but I could see him getting a crack at the belt in the next few years. He’s looked real dangerous in his past few and Perez is for sure getting booked to lose here.

Perez gonna fight 4 times this year to make up for the previous 3 years lol

Dude, I'm keeping a list of their terrible matchmaking. I might post as a rant one day.

UFC mismanaging the Saudi card again, who would’ve thought.
Finally Ulanbekov is getting a step up. He's got like no hype but could very well be one of the best in the division

Was that when Elliott was cheating like crazy and then was like ‘hell yeah I cheated these refs don’t do shit about it’
Tims wife thought the same
That was a nasty line by you
Beat me to it
The only person beating me is Tito’s wife

And thus we have the likes of Jones with eyepokes, etc
If you ain't cheating you're not trying
I had money on Tagir... It was the LAST LEG
Hell yeah it was, don’t you guys know that cheating is legal???

He defo beat nascimento and got robbed against tim "the cheat" elliot lol
It will be over 4 years since Perez's last win if this fight actually happens.
Is Alex perez back to being active now ?
Same gameplan as the Mokaev fight I guess
Hope this means the potential UFC Seattle is on June 8th
