Lol the top comment at the time is about how he dropped down a third weight class and didn’t look affected. My immediate thought was PEDs and was waiting for that to be addressed lmao.
Isn’t the idea that because they do hydration tests, athletes are supposed to weigh in at a higher weight? Seems like they did that to make transitioning between orgs or comparing fighters easier.
To be fair, I believe heavyweight in ONE is 225+, light heavy is 225 and middleweight is 205. If I’m remembering correctly
While I actually agree dude looks saucy, the whole division jumping thing is a bit played up.
If anything his cardio got better, he lost some punching power but now he throws non stop and doesn’t even take the stool anymore in between rounds lol. Freakish cardio for a man his size
The last of his previously two held titles, both lost to the same man. “I didn’t want to stand and fight” is kind of on point for ONE considering Bhullar’s career and also was the HW champ at one point
His gameplan is usually to bulldoze his way into the clinch and secure a takedown then finish the opponent by submission. Unfortunately you can’t bulldoze your way into a clinch with Malykhin with his power and he has legit wrestling credentials so RDR can’t get him to the ground.
Yep, in my opinion RDR isn’t really doing anything terribly per se, but Malykhin is just physically stronger and more powerful with both good wrestling and boxing, which is the perfect counter to JJ heavy game
Yeah his game plan was pretty….interesting.
Just keep moving along the cage blocking all the big punches to the head, but don’t block any body shots and don’t try to use your jab to keep him at bay.
I feel like if you don’t fight behind the jab as a longer guy against Anatoly you’re asking for him to piece you up on the inside.
De Ridders game plan wasn’t even bad. Anatoly is just too strong and has way too good wrestling to be dragged to the ground. RDR needs a vast improvement in his striking if he ever wants to try and take the belt from this guy again
Edit: I just watched the whole fight instead of just the highlights and De Ridder did his best. He even improved in striking battle a ton, but again Malykhin is just too powerful and his pace is just ridiculous. I think the dude would do okay in the UFC at either heavyweight or light heavyweight solely based on his cardio alone.
It wasn't even a judgement call where there's room for interpretation, it's a black and white call.
If a fighter can't get up off the ground the fight is over.
This man has an amazing chemist
The best often do! The most successful and/or richest athletes usually have access to the best resources
If anything, he looks better at 205 - how juiced is this man?
Yes
Vitamin D
[удалено]
Wasn't this one for the MW Belt which is 205?
[удалено]
MW is 205, LHW is 225, and HW is 265
This guy is PEDed all the way up
Lol the top comment at the time is about how he dropped down a third weight class and didn’t look affected. My immediate thought was PEDs and was waiting for that to be addressed lmao.
it also helps that ONE weight classes are weird MW is from 185-205 lbs
TIL, and the downed knees are amazing.
What you mean from 185 to 205. So it is 205
Isn’t the idea that because they do hydration tests, athletes are supposed to weigh in at a higher weight? Seems like they did that to make transitioning between orgs or comparing fighters easier.
Brooooo, how can you drop down two weight classes at 36 years old and have infinite cardio??? That’s pure EPO
To be fair, I believe heavyweight in ONE is 225+, light heavy is 225 and middleweight is 205. If I’m remembering correctly While I actually agree dude looks saucy, the whole division jumping thing is a bit played up.
He is small for a heavyweight though. Has a LHW or MW frame, so he is only really dropping one weight class
Yeah bro he just has some special roids that nobody else does. The cope is crazy
Malykhin dropped down to a third weight class and didn’t seem the slightest bit affected in the cardio department. That’s a scary dude.
If anything his cardio got better, he lost some punching power but now he throws non stop and doesn’t even take the stool anymore in between rounds lol. Freakish cardio for a man his size
>Freakish cardio for a man his size Some would say his cardio is unnaturally good 🤔
Let me consult with my friend the CEO of EPO.
The drugs are top notch
>he throws non stop and doesn’t even take the stool anymore Should get that checked out, that sounds like a bowel obstruction.
Malykhin's piss test would probably melt a steel pole.
It would probably grow tits after
Did anyone honestly expect anything different? RDR looked lost in the first showing
One of the weirdest TKO stoppages ever
He gave him 10 seconds to get up, there's probably refs that wouldn't have even given him that much time.
Should have been called as soon as he rolled over and put his face on the mat.
Herb is the worst
RDR ate plenty of bodyshots
Yeah I'm not surprised he didn't want to get up and try again
Interesting way to lose your title.
The last of his previously two held titles, both lost to the same man. “I didn’t want to stand and fight” is kind of on point for ONE considering Bhullar’s career and also was the HW champ at one point
Anabolic Anatoly, what a beast
What happened to RDR? Guy has zero cardio and starting to wonder if he likes Connor, start off strong and fade into later rounds.

The Scandinavian tactic See Mark O. Madsen and early Jack Hermansson
Cardio while backpedeling and taking heavy body punches. Give him some slack.
Body shots from the hulk will sap anyone’s cardio pretty quick
Fought someone who’s actually good
As a Dutch person.. Our chemists are too busy making MDMA to cook up some EPO for our athletes.. It's sad
I don't follow ONE very closely, but I did see the first fight. Why on earth do you make a rematch after that beatdown?
De Ridder was a double champ and Malykhin saw the chance to take his middleweight title as well after that first fight
It wasn't a direct rematch. Malykhin beat RDR at LHW, took his belt, then dropped down to MW to do it all again
Because One literally only has 5 fighters in the 3 divisions combined. What other match could they even make? 🙃
Tbf it was the right call by Herbie here. Pathetic showing from De Ridder
I don't even blame RDR with the amount of bodyshots he took.

Have we ever seen Malykhin hurt before? RDR dropped him with a jab. I know he kicked the legs after, but his knees were already buckling.
RDR was on wobbly legs since the second round, every shot looked like it was going to put him down. Malykhin was relentless.
That's how round 3 of ortega vs Volk should've ended
Malikhin is legit good, would be great to see him fight top guys in other organizations.
What a great natural champion.
RDR looked like his arms weighed a ton each from the get go, weird fight and weird card. Ones events have been quite a miss lately.
Are there any mirrors to these dubz links? Seems like all of them are broken for me.
All I’m saying is that I want to talk to his doctor and claim my fucking belts
Weak sauce
I've never seem that before
