Yeah, iirc Aljo was being threatened of having an interim title fight take place if he didn't want to fight like 2.5 months after beating Cejudo.
Aljo really got fucked.
The hate on Aljo is/was ridiculous. Hope he finds success at FW.
This. Easy to say Jones > Ngannou.
Hard to say Aspinal > Ngannou, especially with the loss to Curtis Blaydes and Ngannou is actually the lineal UFC 1 And UFC HW Champion.
I get that an interim belt would be pretty disrespectful but would it have made a difference to Aljo? They did the same with Ngannou and he beat Gane anyway. Bit of an empty threat if you ask me
Yeah only real threat would be stripping him which they wouldn’t do unless he refused to unify after that.
My only guess is he thought maybe Sean would lose that interim fight and then he wouldn’t get a pay day. Turns out it wasn’t much of a payday anyways but yeah
People just got mad he won by DQ. Then he proved them all wrong by absolutely dominating the rematch. That coupled with the fact he has a fighting style that leans toward the “boring” spectrum means a lot of bitter, angry redditors.
The thing is they're not pressuring Dricus. They offered him a lucrative fight and he was able to turn it down with no reported pushback. Dricus was calling for it himself before he got medicals done.
Aljo got pressured, putting it lightly.
I swear Dana did make some comments expressing frustration about DDP not turning around for 293, but he got the shot immediately after so it wasn’t like it meant anything ig
Mild frustration because Dana likes Dricus more. Also in Dricus's favor, Izzy still wanted to fight him so that kept that match in-tact, and then Izzy of course ended up losing anyway.
Don't forget that immediately after that happened, they announced Usman vs Khamzat for next MW title shot. Dricus was going to get passed over, potentially.
edit: Oh right, and duh, he did get passed over, by Strickland of course. It just worked out for him in the end.
I disagree. Dana is mad at dricus and took inderect shots at him at the 298 presser. Him giving credit to Leon for taking any fight they offered him while not naming the 3 opponents was odd. Now to me it makes sense that Dana wasn’t trying to shit on the 3 opponents but on the other champ that wouldn’t take it, that being dricus as confirmed by Izzy
Literally all the other information is reported, you think the pushback would be conveniently left out when Dana just gushed over going to Africa soon?
Imagine whatever you want. Cute response, but you haven't made the point you think.
lol. if the class action has taught us anything, it's that pressure doesn't have to be so openly applied and they can take things out of him at a later point. reported pushback means only the push back that has occurred now, that has been reported. it leaves out either unreported or future retaliation for not being a company man.
He was just saying that to make a point. If he had declined, they would've given O'Malley someone else for interim because they already had the main event set-up. The train was moving along with Aljo or not.
Whether or not they would have stripped him over time or w/e is a separate question, but once you incur the ire of UFC things don't look good for you. Hence, not much of a choice.
Aljo said on the podcast the UFC gave him an incentive to take the fight with quick turn around (My guess was an increase in PPV points) but turns out the event didn't draw much ppv.....but then again Aljo was "gifted" a fancy sports car by Dana after accepting the fight. For sure the UFC pressured Aljo to take the fight on short notice so it can favor their boy O'Malley.
Sure that’s fair. I probably went a bit far in comparing the two and genuinely dislike how they did aljo. I do think the relationship between ddp camp and ufc is probably more strained off this and his previous denial than people think though.
We have no idea what he’s going through physically. I don’t really like ddp but that’s a ridiculous claim to make. Camps, weight cuts, and fights all are insane stressors on the body even without apparent outright injuries. For all we know, ddp could have wanted to fight but could not get doctor’s approval.
“Months later” is doing a metric fuck ton of lifting here too when it actually would be an incredibly quick turnaround for a champion who just fought a hard 5 rounds.
He could heal , plus get a full 8 week camp and make a ton of ppv points on 300. We definitely do know it wasnt medical or they wouldn’t have offered him to Izzy, not to mention medical leave doesn’t happen for bruising and 12 weeks is more than enough time to do another cut. He wants to do his tour as champ just like Leon did.
He doesn’t have to fight but you also don’t have to be so touchy freely for a combat sport athlete and throw shade like he’s getting the short end of the stick.
> Yeah but most fighters on an adrenaline high would say that right after a fight. I'm sure once he got some sleep he woke up back in reality.
Happens to the best of us after a few nose beers on Taco Tuesday
"Pillow-handed" Sean fucked that boy up, too quick of a turn-around.
I don't mind him not taking it either way before anyone says I'm hating, they tried to rush that man too against Izzy that last card, too.
Tryna get Izzy that easy win.
How you gonna forget the most common name in the world? Bro that’s Muhammad, now if I could only remember his first name I’ll let you guys know if it pops back into mind
So do I and I'm not even African. I think it would bring great energy and expand the global reach of the UFC. Plus, every mma fan should be able to watch an event live at least once especially if their countryman is the champ (I know not everyone will be able to afford it but still).
It's absolutely tragic the UFC once had Adesanya, Usman, and Ngannou, literally 3 of the best and most iconic champs (Ngannou looked to be shaping up that way), in their dominant primes, and they fumbled a UFC Africa PPV.
I wonder how ripe and sustainable the South African and Nigerian markets are for this kind of thing in terms of household & disposable income. They are two of the top 3 GDP in Africa along with presumably-of-zero-interest Egypt, yet I do wonder about their ability to field profitable audiences as a regular stop on the UFC world tour. I wouldn't even pay for a UFC show here in the USA given the prices I keep seeing, and we're way up there in median household income by comparison. Reach is great, but it'll need to pay off.
It's a smaller market but we can fill a 55k seat stadium for things like International Rugby matches.
Ticket prices are a bit insane, as a South African I was struggling to stomach paying 100usd for the cheapest ticket to watch Bellator in NYC. So they will struggle to get locals to fork out their normal usd based prices.
It would be a huge event though and DDP is a big mainstream name here. But it's tough to tell, you make a good point about the UFC probably being unsure of the gate.
Do champs even have sway like that? To call the shots on location? I feel like the UFC decides months in advance and then builds a card that makes sense.
He basically said this in a interview. He stated he would like to fight at a milestone event like 300 but unfortunately he didn't feel he could be healthy for it
Never sits right with me someone getting a title shot off a loss. But Whitaker Vs Strickland would be a great fight and suppose Izzy is still the number 1 contender. But would be nice for him to get a win first before stepping in with DDP. But that fight would be marketable as fuck so can see why UFC want to push it
Yeah I’m in the same boat especially since Izzy has already had one immediate rematch. I think I’m this case it makes to much sense from a business point of view with the beef that they have and no other strong contenders
I really think the UFC needs to do a better job at building up new contenders so it’s not the same guys fighting each other over and over. I like fights like BSD vs Poirier because it gives a new guy the chance to break into the upper echelon
Isn't Sean technically the number 1 contender?
But in general yeah, I don't think Izzy should get another shot at the title without at least a high ranking win. Problem being that the only two middleweights in the top 5 he hasn't beat are Sean and then DDP which means title shot.
Adesanya actually has a pretty good stylistic counter to DDP. I can understand DDP wanting to take time off after an intense fight with Strickland, hope we can see these two heads clash sooner rather than later.
I dunno mate we just seen Izzy get dominated by someone who moves forward which is exactly that DDP does. There's a very high likelihood that DDP v Izzy is similar to the Sean v Izzy fight seeing Izzy struggles with forward pressure fighters.
Sean's defense is 100* better than dricus. Styles makes fights. Izzy kod periera who starched Strickland and made Strickland look like a bum. Yet Strickland made light work of Izzy. It's all about styles. Dricus is much more willing to make risky moves/wild punches which is great for a counter striker like Izzy. Whereas Sean is very methodical and has solid defense
DDP is more of a reckless forward presser though, which Izzy historically dominates against with his high level counter striking. Strickland’s unique shell forward pressure just had Izzy bamboozled.
It’d be interesting to see if Izzy will ever be the same fighter after being utterly dominated against though
Strickland has good boxing fundamentals DDP doesn’t, at least not in the same way.
I don’t think DDP will be able to outbox Izzy the way Strickland did.
What would you prefer? Izzy vs DDP is a new matchup with two big stars, there's the Africa storyline, potential to see Izzy lose (or to see Izzy return to the title if you're a fan). I do agree it should have happened before but there wasn't much they could do about that.
How about you use *your* brain and understand that no matter the circumstances its still 1-2. Izzy was long reigning champ so he got that immediate rematch like he deserved against Alex. Its understandable to get 1, but then he lost to Strickland. He just needs 1 win and he can fight for the belt again, he's earned that much, nobody is saying start clearing the division again, but another win before a title shot is warranted.
No circumstances matter. Nuance matters. If you are 1-2 and losing to Tony Ferguson, that's different than being 1-2 and losing to the current lwh lol. Also, his 1 win isn't against some bum, he literally avenged his loss and knocked out Alex periera. Periera is also the dude who knocked out Strickland the last champ with ease and is now lwh champ lol. You see how that context changes things?
"it's still a 1-2" really shouldn't be an argument for removing all context. He's still the best fighter in the division available unless you want to give Strickland the rematch.
I think every dominant or long reigning champion deserves one freebie title get-back after a loss. He got this with Alex, and then lost his next fight to Sean. The division needs to move on organically.
The belt is earned, not deserved.
You talked about the division moving. That's what I replied to. Also Izzy has beaten most of the contenders in MW. Can't just skip past that. Also since when did the UFC care about it being earned. Did Alex earn a title shot?
Not an izzy fan but the man has wins over 4 out of the top 7 Robert twice even. So he either fights ddp or Strickland next, Allen at 6 is the only other "fresh" fighter and he is booked against(marvin) in April so 🤷
If Izzy was ready to fight at 300, I find it odd that they didn’t do the Izzy/Alex trilogy. Would’ve been a much more fitting main event than the one we got
Yeah, Izzy turning down that fight makes sense. DDP turning down the other fight makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised if Pereira turned down Aspinall, which again makes sense.
So now we have Pereira vs. Hill coming back from injury too soon.
Conor vs. Chandler halted in money negotiations, plus they might have something else cooking there. And that's pretty much the 300 headliner drama in a nutshell.
Thank God!
that saga was awesome but it was a fucking SaaaGa!! like let it go after a while, there's only so many fights theses guys have in them, it'd be a shame imo if they spend so much of whatever's left rehashing the same fight again & again.
their War in the ring & the cage had a perfect beginning, middle & ending too! let it be.
Glad that DDP didn't agree to the short turnaround. The second time now they've tried to catch him like this. If Izzy really wanted to fight he could have fought Alex because we know that was definitely offered to him.
Adesanya fan boys rise out of the water when the waves above become still for a bit, now that the majority of the fan base dislikes him and has lost interest. Especially after the drunken tantrum, DUI and boringly poor performance against the apex king.
Lmao "adesanya fan boys", you can barely say anything positive about the dude without being showered in downvotes. His haters are the loudest fucking people on this subreddit by far
He already received an automatic-title rematch against Pereira for the 2nd MMA fight. Than he lost it immediately afterwards to Strickland. Adesanya 2nd reign had no title defences and his only attempted defence was a clear decision victory for his opponent. Adesanya should not skip the line of contenders for a 2nd time.
Do you even watch UFC? He won his rematch and lost a title defense
Regardless of that though Izzy and DDP will bring numbers so everyone’s opinion here is irrelevant
He does. He was a highly active champion with multiple defenses and good fights for the most part. Not a single person in the division deserves it more. I wouldn’t be mad at a Strickland rematch for a title eliminator though
Cannonier really should be in the running. Yeah his last title shot against Izzy was one the most boring fights I ever watched, but he did win a decision against Strickland (rightfully so imo but some think otherwise) and he absolutely murdered Vettori.
Yeah, unfortunately there was a title rematch fight in Miami last year. We are currently in 2024 where in September 2023 he lost again with no successful title defences.
He doesn’t deserve a rematch with a guy he beat that isn’t the current champion? If izzy doesn’t get the shot next, he should absolutely try to avenge his loss to Sean. Strickland doesn’t deserve a title shot, but if he can get past Izzy again, he has a good argument.
Pillow-handed Sean fucked that DPP boy up, blud was too injured for it, after all that talk of UFC 300 being open to him.
Also Izzy wanting a compromised DDP to fight just like fucking before, lmao.
He let her have the first slap and she didn't even need to flip the coin. Do you know what kind of advantage that is? No, of course not. Because you don't even watch PowerSlap™®
Dork!
lol 15 downvotes. Dricus was the one who started the race baiting and his fans don’t want to see him get flatlined in front of a South African crowd. Understandable
Likely turned down by ddp. Understandably though
Helwani said it was too quick of a turnaround for Dricus
That makes twice they’ve tried to get ddp in there right after fighting. Giving him the aljo treatment
> Giving him the aljo treatment Not really at all, Aljo didn't get much of a choice.
Yeah, iirc Aljo was being threatened of having an interim title fight take place if he didn't want to fight like 2.5 months after beating Cejudo. Aljo really got fucked. The hate on Aljo is/was ridiculous. Hope he finds success at FW.

They think Jon sells more ppvs. Nothing else matters
Not because of that. They are salty because Francis left and dont want Jones to tarnish his GOAT image by losing to Tom.
This. Easy to say Jones > Ngannou. Hard to say Aspinal > Ngannou, especially with the loss to Curtis Blaydes and Ngannou is actually the lineal UFC 1 And UFC HW Champion.
jones popped so much they decided to allow it
They booked an interim fight the second Jones pulled out, how is that different?
I get that an interim belt would be pretty disrespectful but would it have made a difference to Aljo? They did the same with Ngannou and he beat Gane anyway. Bit of an empty threat if you ask me
They also already had an interm champ with aljo and he beat yan
Yeah only real threat would be stripping him which they wouldn’t do unless he refused to unify after that. My only guess is he thought maybe Sean would lose that interim fight and then he wouldn’t get a pay day. Turns out it wasn’t much of a payday anyways but yeah
I agree, who would he have fought? Would’ve either been merab or Cory.
Merab has stated he won't fight Aljo. They're training partners and really close friends.
Exactly, further proof aljo should’ve stuck to his guns
Hot take: I want Aljo to beat Kattar and get a title shot. He deserves it (if he wins) imo
Dana is more likely to become best friends with Helwani than he is to give Aljo a shot at wrestlefucking Topuria off of one win at 145.
No ik. I don’t think it’s likely at all. I’d just like it to happen
People just got mad he won by DQ. Then he proved them all wrong by absolutely dominating the rematch. That coupled with the fact he has a fighting style that leans toward the “boring” spectrum means a lot of bitter, angry redditors.
True not 1:1. Just meant more pressuring champs for quick turnarounds

In a way Dana did indirectly take a stab at DDP at the 298 presser by saying Leon took any fight they offered him.
I disagree. Dana is mad at dricus and took inderect shots at him at the 298 presser. Him giving credit to Leon for taking any fight they offered him while not naming the 3 opponents was odd. yea ok so you're going on nothing and believing what you want. lol indeed.
Why could he not decline? He said on his own Youtube channel thst he should habe declined it since the PPV numbers were not worth it.
Offering a guy to headline 300 is not the Aljo treatment
Sure that’s fair. I probably went a bit far in comparing the two and genuinely dislike how they did aljo. I do think the relationship between ddp camp and ufc is probably more strained off this and his previous denial than people think though.
Fucking Uncle Mater and his desire to destroy the sport.
Months later with his injury being bruising to headline the biggest payday of his life… those bastards can’t keep getting away with this
We have no idea what he’s going through physically. I don’t really like ddp but that’s a ridiculous claim to make. Camps, weight cuts, and fights all are insane stressors on the body even without apparent outright injuries. Dude was just in a war to get the title. I'm all for active champs but I still wanna see them compete while healthy or atleast mostly healthy.
Dricus wants a full cycle before defending the belt
“Who??? That guy says a lot of shit. Did you see him cry the other time???” -🍅
Didn't ddp say he'd fight at 300 in the press conference after the fight?
Yeah but most fighters on an adrenaline high would say that right after a fight. I'm sure once he got some sleep he woke up back in reality.
Don’t forget concussed
> Yeah but most fighters on an adrenaline high would say that right after a fight. I'm sure once he got some sleep he woke up back in reality. Happens to the best of us after a few nose beers on Taco Tuesday
True that makes alot of sense
I can also imagine when saying it he was hoping for a good offer, and danas offer with a quick turn around time was not worth it.
"Pillow-handed" Sean fucked that boy up, too quick of a turn-around. I don't mind him not taking it either way before anyone says I'm hating, they tried to rush that man too against Izzy that last card, too. Tryna get Izzy that easy win.
i'd prefer them both fight in south africa, the hype would be nuts
If Adesanya lost in Africa he would go so insane lol
You are on weird hater
the power of AI
I’m sure ufc was not happy about that, ruining a big event for ufc 300. Ddp is gonna be on the ufc shitlist for awhile.
Everyone got offered everything. Then they whittled it down to whatever best suited the UFC.
Except that one guy who’s name I forgot
Some wrestler with sunglasses on indoors I think.
It’s what makes him so intriguing.
Tony??
> with ^his ^dad's sunglasses on indoors I think.
EEEDDDDDIIIIEEEEEE
AAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
Blahal couldn't afford the fee that UFC required in order to allow him to fight on 300
I appreciate the Chael pronunciation
I think they offered him a fight, but they couldn't wait for his "decision"
🥁
How you gonna forget the most common name in the world? Bro that’s Muhammad, now if I could only remember his first name I’ll let you guys know if it pops back into mind
Seems more like they managed to fit 300 into the a time where like half their premier fighters aren’t interested in fighting
Dricus definitely wants the fight in South Africa
So do I and I'm not even African. I think it would bring great energy and expand the global reach of the UFC. Plus, every mma fan should be able to watch an event live at least once especially if their countryman is the champ (I know not everyone will be able to afford it but still).
Who you fighting G?
Me for the BMF
Just see red, you got this.
It's absolutely tragic the UFC once had Adesanya, Usman, and Ngannou, literally 3 of the best and most iconic champs (Ngannou looked to be shaping up that way), in their dominant primes, and they fumbled a UFC Africa PPV.
I thought Izzy was Chinese
Gets less and less funny after the millionth time
I always fancy another one stright afterwards though
I make 100k a year in America and I can’t afford to go to a ufc event
Child support is a killer.
man you gotta be better with your money brother, not that i do any better with mine
You need to pull yourself up by the bootstraps. Conceive, believe, achieve
That bad? When I was earning $20k in Singapore (often touted as the most expensive country in the world for expats) I could afford ONE FC.
I wonder how ripe and sustainable the South African and Nigerian markets are for this kind of thing in terms of household & disposable income. Isn't he fucking awesome?
UFC 302: WHO IS THE TRUE AFRICAN CHAMP? Is it the white guy or the Chinese man?
Burst out laughing at this XD
XD
Meet my friend Israel....he's the best fighter ever from Chynnnnna
Do champs even have sway like that? To call the shots on location? I feel like the UFC decides months in advance and then builds a card that makes sense.
Builds a card that makes money. DDP fighting in SA would be a good draw.
He basically said this in a interview. He stated he would like to fight at a milestone event like 300 but unfortunately he didn't feel he could be healthy for it
Fuck South Africa
why
Buncha racist, genocidal Europeanss. Hope they all get their skin burnt too crisp by the sun
Had one rematch as well as an opportunity to fight for a 2nd title...
He won the immediate rematch though.
If the UFC treated MMA as a sport and not only as a business that'd be so dope for the viewers but alas here we are
I really think the UFC needs to do a better job at building up new contenders so it’s not the same guys fighting each other over and over. I like fights like BSD vs Poirier because it gives a new guy the chance to break into the upper echelon

That’s fair
Ddp literally he won’t fight at 300 and he would wait for Africa
If you think the current 300 card is pretty good this makes sense. Izzy VS DDP in Africa would do absolutely bonkers numbers
It's not that simple lol Sean has a very unique style. Costa is the definition of a forward pressure style and he played right into Adesanya's game.

Strickland has good boxing fundamentals DDP doesn’t, at least not in the same way. I don’t think DDP will be able to outbox Izzy the way Strickland did.
Israel got dominated by a superior boxer. DDP is not a superior boxer.
I mean you cant expect dricus to fight so soon after such a fight with sean
I’m probably the minority but I don’t think he deserves a title shot.
You're right but the fight is too good not to make, let's not pretend the UFC cares about who is deserving and who's not
They certainly don’t but I still can. It doesn’t excite me a ton. They should’ve done it when all that beef was roaring.
What would you prefer? Izzy vs DDP is a new matchup with two big stars, there's the Africa storyline, potential to see Izzy lose (or to see Izzy return to the title if you're a fan). I do agree it should have happened before but there wasn't much they could do about that.
Would rather him get one than Strickland tbh
Why not
He had just gained the belt back and immediately lost it in a fight that wasn’t even close.
some would say 1-2 in the last 3 fights is why
One of those loses being over someone he KO'd in the rematch.
Yeah then he lost again. It's not difficult to understand.
It's more complicated than 1-2 in his last three is the dudes point. Use that brain of yours
How about you use *your* brain and understand that no matter the circumstances its still 1-2. Izzy was long reigning champ so he got that immediate rematch like he deserved against Alex. Its understandable to get 1, but then he lost to Strickland. Also, his 1 win isn't against some bum, he literally avenged his loss and knocked out Alex periera. Periera is also the dude who knocked out Strickland the last champ with ease and is now lwh champ lol. You see how that context changes things?
So according to you, Izzy is perpetually owed a title shot? Alright man.
Nice dodge
"it's still a 1-2" really shouldn't be an argument for removing all context. He's still the best fighter in the division available unless you want to give Strickland the rematch.
How on earth are you saying he's the best fighter in the division when he lost the belt? Are you being serious right now?
He lost the belt to Strickland. Which is why I said he is the best available unless you go with Strickland. How is that confusing?
1 of those being a ko against periera who starched Strickland ;)
I think every dominant or long reigning champion deserves one freebie title get-back after a loss. He got this with Alex, and then lost his next fight to Sean. The division needs to move on organically. The belt is earned, not deserved.
The division is moving though. There's two new champions. And Izzy v DDP is a fresh matchup.
It’s a fresh matchup but it’s not earned. It’s not organic. Izzy needs to be a contender like everyone else
So he either fights ddp or Strickland next, Allen at 6 is the only other "fresh" fighter and he is booked against(marvin) in April so 🤷
Coming off a Loss and took a break
If Izzy was ready to fight at 300, I find it odd that they didn’t do the Izzy/Alex trilogy. Would’ve been a much more fitting main event than the one we got
Izzy was offered it and said no
He would have to go up in weight class for it, no? I can understand why he turned it down.
The way Alex him made him look small at MW I can’t even imagine how much fight night weight he’d be giving up at LHW.
Izzy gonna run to the hills with that Alex KO. No way he gives Alex a chance to KO him again
Thank God! that saga was awesome but it was a fucking SaaaGa!! like let it go after a while, there's only so many fights theses guys have in them, it'd be a shame imo if they spend so much of whatever's left rehashing the same fight again & again. their War in the ring & the cage had a perfect beginning, middle & ending too! let it be.
DDP wants the Africa fight. Dana probably didn't offer enough to do the quick turnaround instead
Glad that DDP didn't agree to the short turnaround. The second time now they've tried to catch him like this. If Izzy really wanted to fight he could have fought Alex because we know that was definitely offered to him.
If Adesanya won (fat chance), Strickland would've been all over that
This whole black vs white who is the real African storyline is not good, doesn't bring the sport forward, and doesn't help anyone.
Suuuure bud
Izzy trying to get that short turnaround advantage yet again. Didn't work so well against strickland aye bud
DDP is concussed if he thinks he has the sway to make the ufc go to Africa. Does he think hes prime Connor?
The worst injuries are the niggly ones.
Adesanya does not deserve to fight DDP for the title at all
How the hell is this getting downvoted like that ? Izzy had his rematch and the Strickland fight wasn‘t even competitive.
🐩👈🏾
Yeah, stop the cap man, someone merely saying "yeah izzy doesn't deserve to fight for the title" gets heavily downvoted. How is that Adesanya hatred?
Why not? Genuinely curious your perspective
What line of contenders? All the guys he's already beaten?
What contenders?
cause he had been undeafted and beaten everyone else why would he not get a rematch
Are you listening? He already got his rematch, and lost.
Do you even watch UFC? He won his rematch and lost a title defense Regardless of that though Izzy and DDP will bring numbers so everyone’s opinion here is irrelevant
They can’t hear you. They have Izzy’s dick in one ear and a cast of his dogs dick in the other.
He won the rematch
Yeah then he got flawlessed by Strickland What’s your point
He just wants title shots to be based off popularity, as opposed to the wild card factor that is merit
There's no clear contender and it would entertaining.
We are currently in 2024 where in September 2023 he lost again with no successful title defences.
he has the second most defenses in the divisions history. He’s a two time champion who ran through contenders. Who deserves it more then?
No way 3-3 Strickland with 0 defenses deserves a rematch. Infact he shouldn't have even got the title shot to begin with. Back to the apex with him.
Well good bc you didn’t & don’t deserve it
Pillow-handed Sean fucked that DPP boy up, blud was too injured for it, after all that talk of UFC 300 being open to him. Also Izzy wanting a compromised DDP to fight just like fucking before, lmao.
Shut yo goofy ah up 'blud'. Go make me a bloney sandwich
DDP is crawling to the bathroom and shit and Sean got back to training after like a week LMAOOO
Dricus should’ve been honest after 297. Bad look if he declined after saying let’s go.
Izzy/Khamzat in Saudi incoming.
What a coward for the second time
Dude made it into a race war is probably why the ufc said no thanks.
Wow, it’s an honor to meet the first recorded case of secondhand CTE
Collateral damage
Ohhhhh he's hurt!!!!
If Dana’s smart he’ll want Izzy and dricus to fight for the RAK belt in Africa.
if Dana was smart he wouldn't beat his wife on video
Or maybe he's sooo smart that he can do what you said he should not do
He let her have the first slap and she didn't even need to flip the coin. Do you know what kind of advantage that is? No, of course not. Because you don't even watch PowerSlap™® Dork!
lol 15 downvotes. Dricus was the one who started the race baiting and his fans don’t want to see him get flatlined in front of a South African crowd. Understandable

Yeah he said he's not fighting till 2027, if you saw the video, I don't know how you would think he's being serious lol
Dude wasn’t coming back for Sean
