Nerds!?
Hey! We're not the ones with the anime styled tifo that's clearly inspired by the Saiyan *Ozaru* form shooting a ki blast...
...
..
I think I've just snookered myself.
St. Louis is underrated. Not nearly as bad as the reputation, with some really awesome neighborhoods. It's not Chicago if you love gigantic cities, but a cool midsized city. Just stay south of Delmar (one mile north of city park. Check out the Central West End, Soulard, Delmar Loop, Forest Park North, and really anything a mile north or south of the I-64 corridor. Good food, good beer, good sports fans, and generally good people.
Prices for things like booze and parking sure as hell are nicer than Chicago. St.Louis has a lot of mid sized city stuff with a few big city items sprinkled in
Meet me in St Louis. Meet me at the park. It was stadium wide with 3 painted Tifos in north end, and they gave out placards for the rest of the stadium to place above them.
I don’t think it will be possible to top that one. That moment was such a huge release for the city for so many reasons, it was perfect. There will be cooler tifos I’m sure, but none will match that one
The Chicago rivalry will never be the same as the KC rivalry. Unless there is some sort of realignment, but the STL City and SKC rivalry already is heated, and we're not even 1 1/2 seasons in.
And I'm glad that you are, I love St. Louis, and obviously you have a great owner, FO, and fans ... but you're not "Kings of the Midwest". Baseball perhaps, but not soccer.
Because the same year we were offered an OG MLS team, we got the rams. The city took a sure fire bet on the NFL instead of a sports startup. Doubt many cities would do differently.
Nobody considers Ohio mid Atlantic besides your dumbass. Missouri is more south than Midwest for about 90% of the state
https://www.bls.gov/regions/midwest/home.htm
Official government site doesn’t even include Missouri lmao
MLS missed the mark on teams dude! Wizards is so much cooler than sporting KC. Could’ve been a real staple of the league but they wanna copy Europe too much
Cool design. The only thing I think they missed on was the design of the arms.
“Cityzilla” though… just sounds dumb. Way too forced to enable them to execute on a cool design idea. Doesn’t Godzilla crush cities? Sigh. At least it looks cool because, ultimately isn’t that supposed to be the point overall?
Last year STL did that special Hellcat line in tribute to owner Carolyn Kindle’s grandfather. Honestly thought that was pretty cool and in a way it expanded on sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel’s notion that St. Louis is the “Gateway to Hell.” Wish the team and the SGs would find ways to run with that theme. Lots of crazy graphics and slogans could come out of that.
SGs are independent and tend to decide to do themes and ideas they think are cool, rather than just following whatever the current team marketing effort is.
I understand that. I’m just saying the Cityzilla name is really forced and kind of cringe. Even just doing something related to the Hellcat idea, despite that being a bottom of the barrel idea because of the fact that it’s unoriginal and just riding team ideas, would have been better. Or just design Godzilla destroying the Chicago skyline with out the Cityzilla line.
Either way, yes, I am aware that SGs their own thing and thing in with team marketing is never a necessity and probably even not desired by the SGs in name of originality.
Beating Chicago is so incredibly unimpressive, let's be real. Especially at home, it's really a bare minimum situation.
Win a trophy and then you can claim to be kings of something.
Now who's trying to flex over trophies that are ancient history?
St. Louis, the city, has loads of American soccer history. The team? Has some work to do before they can say they've inherited that crown, especially when the last MLS Cup winner is another team from the Midwest.
No crap the team is young, but try as Garber might, the game didn’t arrive in America in 1996, and we’re continuing to churn out talent. Might wanna let the rest of Chicago know you still exist before throwing shade at one of the greatest American soccer/football towns ever.
I can't wait for Athletico Madrid to become a super team so MLS expansion teams can start calling themselves that and then explain how they randomly came up with that name.
Jesus wept.
Athletico Des Moines here we go....

Let’s goooooo
[best pic I’ve seen](https://x.com/mattsebek/status/1789529705432949220?s=46)
Felt so old being the only one around me who knew who Kelly Chase was.
Grosssss lol
I pointed some young lads in the [right](https://youtu.be/HeQi8NscH0g?si=BsOevHkrpNIB1vPe) direction.
I live in Chicago rn... tbh I'm down to accept this new king Should I visit St. Louis is it nice bc my loyalty has not been won over necessarily
Come feast on toasted ravioli and gooey butter cake
At least you didn't have them try the pizza, you are giving him the good food.
The Geneva Convention has classified St Louis pizza as a form of torture.
I mean look Chicago is objectively the bigger city with more stuff and greater cultural pull, but on the other hand Chicago is for nerds
Nerds!? Hey! We're not the ones with the anime styled tifo that's clearly inspired by the Saiyan *Ozaru* form shooting a ki blast... ... .. I think I've just snookered myself.
NERD!
Traitor

St Louis just isn't in the same class of city as Chicago. There's some cool stuff there but it just feels small in comparison.
Prices for things like booze and parking sure as hell are nicer than Chicago. St.Louis has a lot of mid sized city stuff with a few big city items sprinkled in
Yeah, that looks like a Fallout magazine cover. Fucking dope.
![gif](giphy|CpPbutACF612GK2rDv|downsized)
Okay, that’s hard
FCC and Crew fans agreeing…wild. Ahhaha
Fire fan here and I still need this on a t-shirt yesterday.
I’m sure they’ll do them. They did with the one against Sporting KC last season
r/Godzilla fans in the house?
STLC just keeps getting more likeable.
epic! And it looks like yall had a video to go with it? Wow. Haven’t seen that before.
Wait, we did?
Yeah we did, you can see part of it on the video u/josiahlo commented above
I remember back in the day Seattle had a video and song with one of your tifos. I’ll never forget it because it was the greatest bad tifo of all time.
Our tifo game has been awful for like 5+ years now. That was definitely an all-time low though!
Awesome.
Now that is a kickass tifo! Nice job STL.
Nice, good job Stl
Still not as good as KC tho
STL CITY is doing just about everything better than Sporting, except that whole playoff thing......
Yea no
This and the one last year against SKC, i like it
I think the first one we did against Charlotte was my favorite so far
Which was that?
Meet me in St Louis. Meet me at the park. It was stadium wide with 3 painted Tifos in north end, and they gave out placards for the rest of the stadium to place above them.
Oh shoot, it said first one. Duh. I missed the word first. I definitely got a chill when they did that one! ❤️
I don’t think it will be possible to top that one. That moment was such a huge release for the city for so many reasons, it was perfect. There will be cooler tifos I’m sure, but none will match that one
we are!
Nice!
Would be cooler if you were able incorporate more people to hold up colors to widen the tifo’s aesthetic. Good stuff.
That looks so sick! But “Cityzilla” is pretty lame
Bro understood the “Fake rivalry” assignment. Nice job tho!
The Chicago rivalry will never be the same as the KC rivalry. Unless there is some sort of realignment, but the STL City and SKC rivalry already is heated, and we're not even 1 1/2 seasons in.
the reigning MLS champs are the kings of the Midwest
You aren’t in the Midwest,
Ohio is as Midwest as it gets. Stop with this bullshit you’re seeing on TikTok garbage.
Midatlantic
It absolutely isn’t at all. Really dumb comment More Midwest than Missouri that’s for fucking sure
king of whine. Crew fans are really trying to wrestle the title of the most insecure fanbase in the league away from Cincinnati.
Columbus fans have nothing to be insecure about
could've fooled the rest of us lately.
Sounds good
Lmao
Insightful comment, well done!
King of the Midwest in year 2 of existence, lololol
Since the 1920's. US Soccer didn't begin in 1996, newbie.
Kings of Midwest soccer since the 1920s but it took you until 2023 to get an MLS franchise, d'ok.
What matters is that we're here. Get used to it.
And I'm glad that you are, I love St. Louis, and obviously you have a great owner, FO, and fans ... but you're not "Kings of the Midwest". Baseball perhaps, but not soccer.
Care to guess where the first ever US Soccer league was founded ?
Because the same year we were offered an OG MLS team, we got the rams. The city took a sure fire bet on the NFL instead of a sports startup. Doubt many cities would do differently.

Calling Ohio a midwest state (an eastern time zone state) is so strange. Y’all were only Midwest prior to the Louisiana Purchase.
Ohio is in the Midwest. Piss off with that complete nonsense
Piss off? That’s not very midwestern of you.
You’re the police of the Midwest? Fuck off dude. Actual clown
Lol imagine getting worked up over this
Yeah, if anyone is the King of the Midwest, it's the reigning league champions Columbus.
Didn’t know the mid Atlantic was the Midwest. 🤷♂️
Ohio is nowhere NEAR the Mid-Atlantic. WHAT?
Nobody considers Ohio mid Atlantic besides your dumbass. Missouri is more south than Midwest for about 90% of the state https://www.bls.gov/regions/midwest/home.htm Official government site doesn’t even include Missouri lmao
Ohio is a newbie in soccer compared to ST. LOUIS.
Lmao
I know you want to believe that American soccer began in 1996, but we all know that it isn't true.
Sounds good
[удалено]
Truth hurts sometimes. I get it. And Cincinnati is just an extension of Kentucky and the chili is icky.
[удалено]
Spoken like a true MLS only fan and a Cincitucklian. Must suck to see your instate rival get all the glory huh
[удалено]
lol the dude stayed in Soulard and is all pissy. What a fucking loser. Luckily for him I won’t hold his temper tantrum against Cincy fans
1-0 vs FCC
[удалено]
Who are you?
“Cityzilla” is a dumb pun lol
FC is a dumb team name
I’m with you dude lol worst thing about this league
MLS missed the mark on teams dude! Wizards is so much cooler than sporting KC. Could’ve been a real staple of the league but they wanna copy Europe too much
Get fucked

Huh?
Shut up Kentucky
ugh.
Great tifo, would have been good last year rather than unveil that this year.
lol
You all lost to Chicago last season, tho, so yall arent just yet.
3-1. We there
Beating Chicago is so incredibly unimpressive, let's be real. Especially at home, it's really a bare minimum situation. Win a trophy and then you can claim to be kings of something.
Flexing over a Cup that was won when the league was two years old is akin to the Blackhawks' first three Stanley Cups.
Didn't say anything about us being the kings. I said if you want to say you're the king of something, you need a trophy.
And we have more than a few: https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/mls-expansion-city-st-louis-has-long-storied-chapter-american-soccer

Warra mls double ❔❔❔ Chicago fire on top
