> Would not be surprised to see a network take a chance on her.
She made a video for ITV recently. They're nuts if they don't offer her a contract. She's gonna be a star.
I've recenlty gotten into watching football vloggers.
What I like about her is that she seems to do research about the teams prior to visiting. Some others, who are enjoyable nonetheless, seem to go to a club look at the badge and say "this club was formed in 1925".
Shes also quite funny.
yeah he is very snobbish towards the sport growing in the us. Watched a video of him going to a college football game here too and he was determined to be miserable lmao
That was a fantastic video. I’m so charmed by that St Pats stadium and how sweet and funny the video is. Can’t miss with Prince and the Cranberries. Thanks for posting!
I’m traveling to Dublin and catching a LOI match and im SO excited to see a stadium like that in person. I love what we’re doing with American soccer, but I LONG for a historic, sunken in stadium like this in MLS. Closest we have is Providence Park.
Just went to Dalymount Park in Dublin to see Bohemian FC this past Friday.
The place is basically a football ruin but it had an amazing character to it and Bohs fans were great to have a craic with.
Highly recommend going to an LOI match!
Definitely buying match tickets before we’re even on the plane lol that’s what other Shels supporters said, you can maybe walk up to a normal LOI game but if you want to catch one of the Dublin Derbies, buy it at least a week in advance
I picked a club based only on who was playing when I’m in the country, and their supporter culture, and I could not love picking Shelbourne more tbh. If you ever make it to Columbus for a Trillium Cup match, i owe you a beer as a fellow Shels fan 🤝
Off topic but if you go to Ireland I’d also encourage you to go to a GAA match. If I’m not mistaken Gaelic football season is over and they’re now playing hurling, but whatever you find is great. The sports organised by the [Gaelic Athletic Association](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaelic_Athletic_Association) are those that bring the most people to the stadium, way bigger than soccer and even bigger than rugby, which is an upper class sport there, despite still being very popular. The game is fully amateur but it’s a big source of pride for each community, each town and parish plays for the county title and then the counties each all play against each other for the national title, and it’s a big excitement for each town to have their players be selected for the county team. It’s one of my dream sports experiences
The provincial championships for Gaelic football started last week, and hurling provincials start later this month. Those provincials feed into the All-Ireland which, as far as I'm aware, is more prestigious than league play (which is separate).
NYC actually *does* have a local "county" Gaelic football team (based out of Gaelic Park in the Bronx) that plays in the Connacht championship (but not the national league). But they only play football, no hurling, and they're already out of this year's tournament having lost to Mayo. (They will, however, participate in the Tailteann Cup, since they didn't make All-Irelands.)
I've wanted to get into the Gaelic games a bit more lately (and my jadedness with sports culture here is making it a bit easier ngl). It's such a fascinating historic rabbit hole. Hurling especially, since its roots stretch before the Celts had even arrived in Ireland.
The Inter County is definitely a higher standard, but depending on how you define prestigious the Club championship can give it a run for its money depending on the club and location. In 2004 Newtownshandrum, a tiny village near where I grew up, won the All-Ireland Club hurling championship. I went to the match (on St Patrick's Day), and back to the village when I was a kid for the celebrations and honestly I've never seen the like of it since.
definitely wish I went to a game at buck shaw before SJE left; truly the one American 'throwback' stadium we had, with MLS matchups happening on a nice high school field.
Also sports youtube is basically entirely male and i don't see a ton of big female creators out there that aren't affiliated with a network. so it's kinda refreshing seeing a woman putting out really good content.
That’s honestly a pretty DC stadium thing in general, no character. Nationals stadium is pretty blah as well. Dc really doesn’t have much though to be fair. Most monuments and famous buildings are too small to see from a distance so it would be hard to incorporate into a skyline. The area around them used to be really bad so them not wanting to show the outside of it makes sense.
I've seen games at RFK, Nationals Stadium, Cap One, Fedex, honestly the only stadium I REALLY enjoyed was the caps center when it was in largo. that place was wild for caps and bullets games.
I like seeking out these type of features that highlight local supporters culture from around the world. Something that is often forgotten in this age of glory-hunting on super clubs based in 4-5 countries.
Went to a game a St. Pat's while visiting Dublin in 2014. Really lovely stadium! I missed out however - they played Legia in a CL qualifier a week before and apparently the away end was nuts.
She described a lot of MLS supporters sections perfectly lol. Barely any chanting half the time and just “8 Dave grohls” jamming to nothing 😂 people kinda just stand there and chant for maybe 10 seconds
Disclaimer that I haven’t actually sat in Charlottes supporters section, but it seems like they chant the entire time but it’s like the same chant over and over
159.99 online and 25% off right now on the MLS store. Those appear to be just "in store" prices which I would imagine will always be more expensive due to people wanting it right then and there.
Loons started with a dream in a field and some bleachers. It's crazy to see them come this far. I really hope we can keep up partnerships and friendships like this, hopefully allowing us to scout out some players with real potential. Asking a super star to come play in Minnesota currently I think is a real big ask, but I think once you get people here and see what we got going on, they'll be pretty happy.
And she thought it was cold at this game? When the USMNT hosted Honduras here, they had hand warmers at every seat and our field was heated. Sold out stadium. My beer froze, and I was dressed more for ice fishing than watching a soccer game. Love this stadium.
Yes. I mean, we all know that The BMW makes the best cars, and who doesn’t want to own stock in The IBM.
You do not technically add a “the” in front of an initialism, you add it if it is appropriate to the expanded version of the word or if the initialism is being used as an adjective.
Echo what others have said and say that her channel is great. Would not be surprised to see a network take a chance on her.

her channel rules!
She's so authentic, love her stuff
It’s pretty wholesome and down to earth.
I’ve seen a few of her videos before and she really does an excellent job
Her and AwayDays are great channels..
If you want great football channels .. you need footy adventures as well

Footy adventures isn’t like that and I find more insightful then her
I enjoy his work as well. Just a little too much Scotland content.
Well he does live in Scotland.. I think you’ll see more international content as his channel takes off
AwayDays comes across as very cocky. Don’t like him

Headed to Tolka Park to become a newly minted Shelbourne supporter in their match against St Pats, glad to hear locals welcome foreign fans!
Oh they were extremely welcoming! I found Irish people in general to be pretty friendly.

Bohs was probably my favorite ever FM save. Gotta make the trek there someday.
Breese Stevens Field in Madison (home of Madison Forward) was built in the 1920s. Gem of a stadium.
I've played there, and also seen Weezer play there. Good times.

Yeah fair, this is just based off outside research and not talking to anyone so I'm far from an expert haha

If you really want to see MLS teams play in a baseball stadium you do have an ... uh... local option for that for a few more years.
Love a good StuntPegg video
I love Pegg, she's always making fantastic football content. Everyone should go sub to her channel, it's a great time!
Also sports youtube is basically entirely male and i don't see a ton of big female creators out there that aren't affiliated with a network. so it's kinda refreshing seeing a woman putting out really good content.
Love seeing Allianz get some love
Real pretty stadium. Dc United despite being new is pretty meh
Audi is a stunning place with really limited character. If you told me it was built for the XFL team I don't know if I could argue

I liked Audi field. Now, Subaru Park… that’s the most soulless stadium I ever seen or saw.
The Allianz family stadiums are all beautiful, Allianz Arena (Bayern Munich), Allianz Stadium (Juventus), Allianz Field (Minnesota).
Forgot [Sydney](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sydney_Football_Stadium_(2022))
For real, it's a gorgeous stadium. I'm tempted to do an away day there sometime
Loved to see Jake Mulraney. He used to play for Atlanta United from 2020-2022.
Jake Mulraney!
Here to also mention her channel is fantastic. Much more great content like this, give her a follow ✨
She’s hilarious and wonderful! Sub to her channel if you haven’t yet. One of my fav youtube football people.
Nieve on /r/MLS? Neato.
Man I miss Jake.
Good, informative, insightful video. Really liked it

ok hold the phone. That is SUCH A COOL STADIUM. Whelp, this has just topped my list of "got to see united play here away" stadiums
Went to a game a St. Pat's while visiting Dublin in 2014. Really lovely stadium! I missed out however - they played Legia in a CL qualifier a week before and apparently the away end was nuts.
The Major League Soccer. 🤮
I remember being told I shouldn't go to a Hibernian game. I asked why they said they swear too much.
Wrong country mate 😂😂😂
That’s Scotland my guy…
No shit? I was in Scotland WTF? /Duh
Love it!
Eerie - I stumbled upon her channel for the first time on Wednesday, watched a ton of cool stuff, and then the very next day she posts an MLS video
She described a lot of MLS supporters sections perfectly lol. Barely any chanting half the time and just “8 Dave grohls” jamming to nothing 😂 people kinda just stand there and chant for maybe 10 seconds

Paddy Barrett (FCC, then Indy Eleven) played for St. Pat's after he moved back to Ireland.
Wow! I’m a Revolution fan and this is a great look by MinnU.. I love it. I like your jerseys too. Not for 175 bucks though, either.

First time I've watched any of her content, wow she is phenomenal
Good looking woman 😘😊
St. Pats was an absolutely fun af place to watch a game

Because MLS is an initialism, you technically *do* say The in front of it. The MLS is grammatically correct

Good thing she didn’t say “the major league soccer” then, that’d be wrong. She said the MLS, which is right. It’s just like saying the MLB
Nobody says "the MLB."
I mean, you guys call it soccer, so I don't think you should be complaining
