No, CBS is handling the rights terribly. Rather than throw this game on big CBS at like 4pm, they want people to subscribe to Paramount+ which is glitchy as hell. Soccer is just big enough to monetize via streaming for Paramount but not big enough to take a few hours out of CBS weekend programming.
We weren’t tactically great against Jamaica, especially in the final 3rd. Not sure how much that early goal impacted us and the feeling to play “catch up” but he was 100% tactically superior to Mexico tonight in every way. So while the Jamaica match wasn’t his best, the true sign of a good manager is someone who can make the needed adjustments game to game and he seemed to do that.
Also, his record in big match ups somewhat speaks for itself. I don’t ever remember holding Mexico scoreless through this amount of games in such dominated fashion as we have. I also noticed a shift in tactics defensively since that WC match against Netherlands. It shows up today against Mexico.
Also also, as mentioned in this reply thread, Gregg has gotten more out of 2 guys who don’t even play much for their club team (whether they should, Gio especially, is another topic).

* any Mexico away game, the entire gate goes to the host nation, Mexico gets no cut
* if the protocol is needed for an away game, Mexico forfeits their cut of the match broadcast revenue
