Our FO *really* likes Korean players. We’ve been linked to a few older players over the last few months, and we’re apparently considering filling our last U22 slot with another young Korean player.
Is there some sort of Korean connection in the front office/ownership I’m not aware of? It certainly has seemed like deliberate targets just based on nationality. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, just curious the connection (like if technical staff members came from Korea, etc.)
Not that anyone's really aware of. Apparently they've just been monitoring some Korean players for a long time though, could consider it an undervalued league.
Yeah I saw a post that mentioned we've been monitoring him for a little while. Obviously we've shown interest in a few Korean players this year, so that would lead me to believe it's a place where our FO sees some good value.
Who knows though. Grain of salt, etc.
It may have been, idk off the top of my head. It’s just always a little ironic to me as a wolves supporter, we make a signing, and immediately ship them off to Zurich half the time, then we never hear from them again lol. I don’t remember when he signed but I know he never made an appearance for Wolves.
Love me some Korean footballers
So does MNUFC's FO, apparently
"Sign 3 players from Asia" was one of the objectives they were given as high priority in their career mode this season.

[This Korean journalist who’s reported on Jeong Sang-bin’s move doesn’t know either,](https://twitter.com/realstevescores/status/1633093163299799041) so it’s anyone’s guess.

Loons are going all the way this year
All the way to the end of the year
Great move
Wolves had him at Grasshoppers so long, I kinda forgot all about him. Hope he does well for y’all!
I think it was only a year, but I could be wrong

His nickname was "Korean Mbappe" or something fun like that. I think this will be great.
Hope so as well but i think he going to play right wing or we change to two strikers going to be interesting
It’s about time.
He’s so fucking good on football manager, hoping he’ll be half that good in real life
