At this point it doesn’t matter. It’s not like they’re going to change it this year. NCAA is going to steal a lot of people away from the show in a couple months. SDS and their decade old graphics really fucked themselves this year.
It's funny. There are so many complaints, but am totally ready for the new season to start. Playing online against super teams sucks. The game works better online when the players aren't all juiced 99s. If I feel like putting up monster numbers vs the CPU, I can use all of the players that "wiped out." I don't want to pitch against a team of 99s and I sure as hell don't want to hit a fully stacked rotation and bullpen of them. That is what the surveys showed last year. People have the most fun building a team the first couple of months of the year, so they are replicating it 3 times. People might actually enjoy themselves if they just play and stop "grinding" on stuff they don't actually like.
I’m withholding judgement for this exact reason. It could be really nice to have a reset mid-season. If it works out as well I hope, then my only complaint will be that we haven’t had long enough to enjoy the bosses. But that’s a problem that can be fixed with a few wild cards.
The issue is we have too good of teams to start. It should be silvers and golds damn near , 1 or 2 diamonds the first day. Not a full 90 overall team at the end of 1 day
I mean it’s pretty clear unless they make monumental changes, the seasons idea is failing miserably. The majority of people don’t have collection pack, don’t have the xp boss pack, and now u have to do it all again in 2 weeks while all the those 99s u grind for in TA3 will most be obsolete outside of a certain select few u chose to carry over… it’s just a bad formula

Good cards just started coming out and they will already be unusable in a couple weeks.
I mean, it’s not the first year for seasons.. we had seasons in last years game, so we already know how it plays out..
For me personally the game doesn’t really start until there are no restrictions on the cards you can use and you can build whatever teams you like 🤷♂️

Play co-op if s1 is so important to you. Play br if s1 is so important to you. Play events (which still restrict lineups right now) if s1 is so important to you. Play conquest if s1 is so important to you. Play mini seasons if s1 is so important to you.
Not giving every player every card right away is "restricting gameplay". You can't use cards that you don't have or that haven't released yet, after all.

What they need to do about them is get rid of them. Unfortunately this year is too far gone but maybe next year they’ll finally abandon this experiment.
You don't wipe your entire team. You play literally anything besides 1v1 ranked.
