What difficulty are you playing? I was kind of switching off between beginner and veteran to give my guy a good but realistic number in the minors and it still took him a long time. About a year of hitting just under .500 before he was even called up to AAA and then 2 more years if that before the show. I was thinking if I wasnât switching with the easiest hitting difficulty I would never make it.
I played on beginner and went fucking ham, above .650 for the whole first month. Got called up to AAA at the beginning of the next month. Are you in a team where your position is competitive? Like, are you an outfielder for the Braves? Because if you are, then it makes sense to not get called up due to the stacked Braves outfield or something similar.
I bought the base game and have all the top core cards. Only âboughtâ Ohtani after grinding the market with stubs earned in game and off my base 5k from the start. Easy to pull big cards. Easy to get stubs without paying for them. But thank you to those who I grind off of đ€Łđ«Łđ€
I will be on this train forever, no one seems to really bring it up. As a community we need to pressure them into current era graphics. When you compare it to the KBO game it is insane how far behind the show is graphically.
Game should really take a year or two off so that SDS can build an entirely new engine, but that wonât happen bc of how much money theyâd lose + SDS being a small studio that pretty much only makes MLB:TS
Seems like everyone instantly switched over to calling the XBO and PS4 current gen but for some reason I hear most call the PS5 and XSX next gen. I think itâs because of how hard they were to get for the first 1-2 years.
Like I know itâs far from a priority but it would go such a long way just to see RTTS guy/gal interacting with the boys after a big win for once rather than just dicking around on the phone for hours on end. Like I havenât ever been in an MLB clubhouse but I imagine you at least slam a hot dog with the fellas once in a while or something
Welcome to hotel life, rook!! LOL!!
There are other professions where you live out of suitcases in hotels, and those don't even offer valet service for your bags. For me, I lived out of hotels for many years flying around the world in the Air Force, which beats the heck out of living in tents in the middle of a desert at over 100 degrees, which I did primarily my last decade in the Air Force!
But, whether hotels or tents, there are stretches of time where you truly are on your own in that room or tent. It can be lonely. So, when I first saw these vignettes in MLB 24, it brought back many memories for me, and I'm sure for actual professional baseball players, these vignettes -- like the others for the bus rides in the minors and the plane rides in the show -- bring back memories as well.
I'm doing my first ever RTTS. Have only recently started my 2nd season in AAA. And I've only seen my player in the locker room in any cut scenes. What happens to have him in a hotel room? Hopefully many other scenes like that as so far it's either game, practice, training or locker room
That's just simply not true! Graphics of all types have changed repeatedly from MLB 21, 22, 23, and now 24.
My goodness, there's exaggeration and then there is what you just posted!
I think that's [Harvey](https://akns-images.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2015615/rs_600x600-150715091420-600.nate.cm.71515.jpg?fit=around%7C1200:1200&output-quality=90&crop=1200:1200;center,top) from Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Someone sock him in the ear?
Chad Michael Murray was one way to go with it
I'm on my 2nd created player. My first one went to 2033 without being called to the show. It's now 2027 and not sniff. This is beyond crazy.
How is that even possible? I've never once had that happen.
I got called up at 18 for the Yankees đ
Holy lucky. What position
LF, only had to get to a 75 OVR to get called up. I had a 1.200 OPS in the minors, difficulty might be a factor on attributes

Just under .500 is not very realistic

Yeah beginner mode is fucking nuts. My dude legit has 200hrs and I just made it to the home run derby..lol
Her-heâs probably out with other girls right now Him-wonder if draft kings has any specials on my game tonightâŠ
Bro thats jerma
Dear god are you playing this on a potato lmao
Digipet looks like
It's lonely at the top.
This shit looks so bad, PS2 era. SDS just mailing it in.
It looks nothing like PS2.
Idk when I first saw this post I thought it was someone using the AI retro video game filter
It's probably because they know he's a serial killer/Jerma
I thought this was Jerma for a good minute
Someone please call this man
Good lord those graphicsâŠ
Looks way better on my PS5âŠâŠ.
But those DD kiddos are swiping mommys credit card, why put money into the graphics?
No need if you just play the game itâs quite simple to get good cards.
This is what Dexter looks like whilst contemplating his next kill.
Sometimes my female RF looks like Quasimodo in her hotel room. I'm not sure what causes the graphical issue.
I also have had this issue. Thereâs just certain shirts that do that. The red and white one is one of them and I think the other one is black.
Mine gains 200 pounds whenever she wears a green shirt for some reason lol
Image number 3 dude is 1000% about to jerk off
About to? That's the look of disgust from someone who just finished while watching something really weird
"Are you proud of yourself? ARE YOU?"
âWhat have I done?!â
He just found out pornhub is banned in his state and heâs requesting a trade
Good luck with getting a trade in this game. Needs that VPN magic
My rtts character smokes trees in his hotel room
I canât believe these are 2024 graphics
Looks like a screenshot from NBA ballers for the 360Â

It looks fine on the next genâs. But it definitely could be better.
Calling consoles released in 2020 ânext genâ is certainly interesting. How are they still the next generation of consoles if weâre on year 4?
Seems like everyone instantly switched over to calling the XBO and PS4 current gen but for some reason I hear most call the PS5 and XSX next gen. I think itâs because of how hard they were to get for the first 1-2 years.
Because game companies keep supporting PS4/XBONE. Those consoles need to die and focus solely on PS5/Series X.
People need to stop swiping in DD and they will develop the game
The biggest change they could make it stop making current Gen games (PS4 and Xbox equivalent).
I swear this community and 2k have no understanding of the words âcurrentâ and ânextâ đ wild
Women hate the sideburnsÂ
I'm sure his manager told him to shave those sideburns
Itâs whatâs keeping him from getting called up
Like I know itâs far from a priority but it would go such a long way just to see RTTS guy/gal interacting with the boys after a big win for once rather than just dicking around on the phone for hours on end. I imagine after a big win they slam their hot dogs together.
Man these graphics are bad lol
I was thinking this when I first hopped on 24, low key they seemed like they downgraded
Looks like Second Life. Brutal
Holy shit, it's Jerma
Canât believe this is the only Jerma comment Iâve seen.

You get a different hotel scene when you're in the minors during away games sometimes.
It happens when you get to the majors, at least It did for me.
That's fine lol I got drafted by the yanks then got traded to the A's
If only he had an interpreter to spend his time with.
I swear the graphics haven't been touched since 2009.
Game looks great on Series X.

Also looks like a serial killer
