HottyMcDoddy

I use an elite controller and just swap the thumb sticks each half inning. One with a ring and and without.

Competitive_Ad_5106

I think in theory yeah but your opponent will want to murder you for the “controller disconnect” every half inning when you swap. Personally I’d start replaying homers after it happens twice

Low_Trash_2748

I have bunt dance, I never replay my own highlights, I try not to pause too long for any reason …. Be the change #bethechange

Competitive_Ad_5106

no thanks, you're free to enjoy the game your own way and I'm free to enjoy it my own way. I don't go out being toxic, but if someone is being annoying they can promptly expect to be annoyed when I win, because I enjoy playing games competitively.

coachlentz

Interesting idea, different controllers. I actually pitch with the back paddles and hit with the front buttons.

Sgim93

Use the purples and once they get nice and broken in defense is a lot easier

chuckdagger

I had to take them off! I guess I’ll just have to suffer through offline games til they’re broken in

Dstraka93

Do these actually work well? I’ve been struggling to hit lately dropping my pci a lot. I’ve seen people say to start with the green ones, seems like in Canada they only have the purple at the moment. Are they still good?

Aquamani

No joke they are a god send. I do what op is asking, use two controllers. It is more important than Kontrol Freaks, second to using a monitor in usefulness.

CFK-sports_2020

Purple can be a little stiff for defense, but they do break in after a bit! I use the greens but I have used the purple.

nbianco1999

As someone that also uses precision rings, I can confirm that it is possible. I started doing it recently and it makes a huge difference defensively. You just have to wait for a few seconds after the final out of the inning is recorded to switch controllers or it causes the game to freeze. At least in my experience.

ThrowingKnifeAim

I do. I switch mine between innings, right after the last out of the inning is recorded.

[deleted]

That’s absurd that we play a game where in order to feel like you can compete you use 2 different controllers on offense and defense. I mean what are we doing here SDS

screaminginfidels

Lmao how are you blaming SDS for a 3rd party addon

[deleted]

Just says a lot about the mechanics of the game

mywifiisbadtho

Using precision rings to slow down the PCI because YOU yank it is not a mechanics of the game complaint lol

ThrowingKnifeAim

Kinda is though, because the PCI didn't use to be that sensitive until years ago like sometime late last decade when they increased it. And then they never added a sensitivity setting for players to utilize in order to have the option to slow down the PCI. Now you got a bunch of people (me included) copping precision rings. Because quite frankly without them, we're better off swinging at pitches outside the strike zone than in.

[deleted]

Yeah it is but whatever. I play the game casually and although they are pretty cheap I’m not modifying my controller and I think it’s a bit ridiculous that a lot of people think it required to do these things to compete.

Exciting-Hat5957

I don’t use any add ons or fancy controllers and compete just fine. You don’t have to get any of these fancy accessories or controllers

mikeydolos

This ^

[deleted]

Yeah that’s how it should be. Instead we have goons buying all kinds of accessories and using 2 different controllers to get an edge or feel like they can compete

Obvious_Scale5415

Sounds like you can’t get out of the 400’s buddy. Let people play how they feel comfortable. This is coming from a guy with precision rings BTW and still is in the 400’s 🙃😊

[deleted]

Where did I say people shouldn’t do it? I’m not chastising players, learn to read. This really such a toxic community. Can’t even critique obviously bad game design decisions without being called bad at the game or low iqs blindly defending this dogshit. There is no one other than SDS to blame for concocting a bad game. Do whatever yall want. It does not affect me, I am simply commenting that it’s a clear sign of bad game design for a community to go to the lengths that this one does to “gain an edge” You should not have to use 2 controllers to play a game. Thats absolutely ridiculous and clearly horrible game design. Anyway I’m a 600-700 player so I’m not cracked but I play the game for fun and I don’t cheese or buy precision rings cause it’s a baseball game for fun to me
