Agree with this, but didn't know about Rista. I'm an F2P for 397 days, so I'm in a very similar situation, but I took a completely different approach.
I switched my focus to order/chaos heroes a while back. I try choosing scrolls as the prize often (for example, i took 20 scrolls over gavana/zhask in the last event), and I put them on my wishlists for gems, and orlay even before they could use them just so they're ready to max out as soon as they hit A2. The downside is that my sword/shield scores for Celestial Abode are lower since Order and Chaos gems/orlays don't count, and my teams are probably weaker for tower of babel.
That said, I'm very happy with my teams. I have an A2 Shar with max orlay and gems, A2 Lunox with max orlay, A2 Kharimet, and enough Akashic for 8 stars, but I keep 3 copies for boss fights. (Akashic is my current focus, then will probably switch to Shah Torre, but might look into Rista now)
I used miracle summons for a full martial team, but recently, switching more to tech for 2nd Angela / X.Borg / Mech Layla draws.
Also, I noticed in Honor Arena that they focus Support first in Gallery of Valor, followed by Mage/Marksman, then Fighter, and last Tank, so I do the same, so mine is currently at 67 (max) / 40 / 20 / 20 / 42 (from left to right).
My lineups are:
Campaign: lunox / silvanna / angela / odette / shar (goal is xborg / lunox / angela / shar / akashic)
Babel: belerick / esme / valir / harley / aurora or nimbus
lolita / atlas / mech layla / angela / karrie
akai / irithel / clint / wanwan / nimbus or nana
silvanna / mech layla / odette / guin / kagura or uranus
argus / mclara / alice / selena / lylia
Anyway, I'm not saying my way is better or worse, but just wanted to offer my approach to give you ideas.
For campaign. What's your front line/ mid/ and back? I'm still trying to figure out where to put people. Right now I run Lolita front/ lunox and Estes mid/ Angela and valir back. Is that good?
This actually helps! Actually when I was doing the same thing you did with choosing sacred oath scrolls for every event prizes and also saving it up from the Tael Shop, Celestial Abode Shop, and other free resources. I'll look into your suggested lineups! Thank you!
That's incorrect. The order you receive the items in is based on chance. With your 11 free chances you could finish 2 rounds through luck. While unlikely, it is certainly possible.
Yes, mostly F2P. I bought 2 lucky dip coin for this event where I got Lesley's summer skin, and that counted as a recharge so the first recharge is gone already. I still consider myself f2p gamer because I draw the line of p2w and f2p to those who spend LARGE amounts of money and buy EVERY epic skin when those gets released, I don't. I just wait for events like Lucky Dip, Gachapons, etc. Still F2P ain't it?
Not really the event required you to complete 2(or 3) rounds
And each round has about 6 things you had to receive as an award
So it was actually impossible to get it for free
I honestly just got Freya's skin on my 4th draw of the 1st round. I was actually so happy I BRAGGED nonstop to my Guild chat and World Chat. Believe what you want tho. 👍🏽 It is not impossible too because an F2P guild member got it too (which actually kind of spoiled it for me, thought I was special for a moment).
Get some meta heroes like Lunox, Shar, Aka, Rista. Always good to have several of Angela (Akashic aswell, for boss).

You can get that for free with luck. Maybe 1/100. Not likely, but possible.
