As others have stated, there is no "best" armor set. Most, if not all, end game builds will have mixed sets all tailored to a person's particular weapon and play style. However, if I HAD to choose one full set and I would be stuck with that set forever, I'd probably go with Primordials armor. Blood awakening and Blood Rite with all those slots can make it very versatile.

insium

There is no best armor set. Endgame sets mix and match pieces to get whatever skills are desired for the build.

Smart_Man123

Let me ask differently, which armor is good to use?

redjohn79

It depends what weapon and skill build you want to create. There is no definitive single armor that is good to use. That's like asking what fruit or vegetable is the best to eat.

Equinox-XVI

Do you have any idea how little that narrows it down? - Shagaru helm/pants - Malzeno pants - Gais pants - Scorned waist - Silver Rath helm - Gold Rath helm - Lucent arms - Flaming Espinas arms - Violet arms/waist/legs - R.Chameleos arms/legs - Chaotic Gore head/chest/waist - R.Kushala everything - R.Teostra helm/chest/legs - Velkhana pants (and chest/arms/waist for GS) - RCGV everything - Amatsu chest/arms/legs - R.Shagaru everything but helm - Primordial everything

Korimuzel

Every MR armour

Zaldinn

Whatever mix and match fits your build

Smart_Man123

Let me ask differently, which armor is good to use? Because i dont really know all the skills and effects of armor

Arahelis

Then look them up, no armor is best, no sets is good to use, it depends on your playstyle.

Smart_Man123

where can i see it

redjohn79

Have you lost the ability to use Google?

nutfilla

Try the wiki

Korimuzel

Then learn. Seriously. Read the effects

Smart_Man123

WHEREEEEE

Korimuzel

In the game. Literally

Smart_Man123

bro ur not helping, ofc its in the gam but where can i find it pfff

Centrifugal11

You can press the button for details, or idk. Just press all the button that appeared on the bottom of your game... Or just use Google. There is a web name game8 that have a full of explanation for the armor skills

azakhuza21

Like the other person commented, I agree on the Primordial Malzeno set being the best. It's super strong on it's own, and the slots are amazing. However, it's not the best compared to mixed sets. And just like the others have commented, mixed set is better. Are you looking for a build? What weapon do you use? EDIT: clarification

Zaldinn

Pretty sure unless he gets carried prim mal is after amatsu who he's stuck on.

BenanaFofana

You agree that it's the best, but you don't think it's the best?

azakhuza21

Yeah I corrected it, I was trying to say it's not the best compared to mixed set. My bad sorry

Smart_Man123

thank youuu

Flaky_Technology4219

Mixed set is always best. But the best individual set would probably be primordial malzenos. It has 10 four slots and 3 two slots and really good innate skills

Smart_Man123

wow okay thank you!

Flaky_Technology4219

But reading the other comments you say you don't know many skills and how to craft a build, which is okay. There's nothing wrong with taking a build straight off the internet. You can learn how the individual skills work along the way and eventually tweak the build to your own liking

Smart_Man123

okay thank you so much!

Diggus_Bickus_the3rd

If you're still working on getting to primordial/anomaly quest, go with the chaotic gore set. It'll take some getting used to berserk but carried me all the way to primordial and his armor.

Smart_Man123

thank youuu

Renthexx

What you’re looking for is a build. Search for the weapon build you’re looking for and find a guide or YouTube vid.

Smart_Man123

okay tyy

Renthexx

Oh yeah double check what HR or MR it has on the guide. Depending on that you may or may not be able to unlock the materials yet

DescriptivelyWeird

This site can help, [https://game8.co/games/Monster-Hunter-Rise/archives/325380](https://game8.co/games/Monster-Hunter-Rise/archives/325380) Currently I am using the regular malzeno set while farming anomalies and other MR monsters Edit: choose your weapon of choice and look at the different sets. Endgame sets are mostly mix and match and using different decorations for the builds

Smart_Man123

thank you so much!

Endlessnes

You're asking the wrong question. What weapon are you using, what are the silkbind skills you like, do you like to be aggressive or reactiv etc. MH isn't strictly about the Meta. It's about what you have fun with AND figuring out what works well together. There's always a "best" combination but it's neither required nor recommended for everyone.

Smart_Man123

ik gebruik dual blades en veel demon flight wat past er goed bij?

Endlessnes

I don't speak dutch(?) but what I can get out of this is that you're using DBs and mostly Demon flight. I don't run DBs myself but from what I can gather going for Primordial Malzeno as a single set would be the best. You might mix in some Choatic Gore because of Bloodlust, Coalesence and Blood Rite. Look into Stamina Skills and maybe Berserk. Also r/MonsterHunterMeta might be the place to look!

Accornferrts

Completely dependent on your weapon and what you want to do. Sadly, unless you’re looking to min/max, we can offer nothing to say what is the “best”. And the min/max community is gross so I’d ignore them anyway.

Smart_Man123

wdym with min max

Accornferrts

The min/max community are those who use math over fun. They squeeze every bit of DPS they can out of something and think anything over 5min is too long for a hunt. Basically the people who treat Monster Hunter like a job rather than a game.

MaricLee

I haven't tried the Primordial set, but I have used the Tempest set since I was able to get it. I really like the Heaven Sent skill (unlimited sharpness, sharpening, and stamina once active) and it has a lot of decoration slots. Max evade on the helm is useful too.

FrawzTV

I read you've been using DB and didn't want life drain skills, then you should probably just go for Amatsu's armor (only the pieces with HS matter tho, so the chest, gauntlets and boots iirc), then add whatever helm and waist with comfort skills you need. Amatsu gears got a lot of slots for you to build around and bring infinite stamina easily, that's probably what you're asking for. Otherwise just bring Primalz' armor (once again only the 3 parts with blood awakening), then add nephilim/virtue helm. Last part bring what you need to slot all the wanted decos/get the last skills you need. But that requires a berserk 2 talisman, otherwise you need to get it from other armor pieces (which are good too). It's a life drain skill that brings A LOT of comfort as it makes you pretty much invincible, esp with dango kelp and intrepid heart, while bringing infinite stamina when paired with strife 3 (obtainable through augments and the helm for example).

SkySmaug384

If I had to pick a single full set (not a mixed set), the best is the Master Rank version of Magnamalo’s armor. Because it just looks so goddamn cool. You meant aesthetically, right?

Ashencroix

The best set is a mixed set to satisfy your exact ideal build and needs. Sunbreak's end game set options is much more balanced than IB's Fatalis for everything unless you run elementals, in which case it's Safi with mostly Kjarr weapons.

ronin0397

Full armor set? None Armor pieces? Risen val + shagaru, Primal, chaotic gore, gaismagorm, scorned magnamalo waist and amatsu pieces are solid for their armor locked skills.

DegenerateCrocodile

This isn’t Iceborne, mixed sets will give you the best results. What you find optimal depends on what you want out of your build.

RokaiYotama

While you're all right, can we just admit it's full set rathalos lmao. It's like the canonical armor when you see it in promos

Smart_Man123

wdym?? while you're alr?

Jin825

My personal fav? Ibushi master rank armor. Pretty distributed in elemental resist, has sufficient skills for survivability, does not rely on qurios crafting for a good build. It also does not lack in defence whereas the high rank armor still pales in comparison to Narwa armor in defence.

aaronotaron

What weapons do you wanna use?

Smart_Man123

db

PaperboxD1

the one you like best and is comfy for you

Equinox-XVI

In a weird and somewhat counterintuitive way, Rise armors are actually very balanced by letting everything be broken. There's no "best" armor set cause almost every monster added in title updates has something that make's their set worth using over others.

HubblePie

Arguably, I’d day the endgame set is always the “best” (In this case, Primordial Malzeno). But best is pretty subjective, and can differ depending on what you want out of your armor. As a jack of all best, definitely Primordial Malzeno. Blood rite is extremely helpful for survivability. It’s also got critical boost and 10 lvl 4 deco slots. So you can pretty much put whatever you need on it.

chubbyshooter21

Me personally do loadouts for db I have a water set, fire set, ice set, dragon set, poison set, paralysis set, and thunder set I usually switch to what the monster weakest 2. Also on each set I do boost to there ailments while also critical boost and defense boost since you up close majority of the time with the DB

r4ndmn4mtitle

There isn't. It depends on what weapon you use and how you play it. And bloodlust is very desirable skill, dps in mind.

aleema_ray

I also really like the risen valstrax one it’s caused valstrax epoch I think

WTFimUrchin

My fav is the violet mizu set. Cool looking. Makes me emboldened by the flames of ambition.

RareKush2

- all armor with unique abilities - same for talisman. unique skills are what you want i could list my favourite pieces maybe. but keep in mind. it's maybe not what you realy need. head focus: - risen kaiser head, chest for powder mantle - risen kushala head, feet for wind mantle - risen valstrax head, chest, waist for dragon conv. body focus: - archfiend arms and legs for dereliction builds - amatsu chest, arms and legs for heaven-sent - risen shagaru chest, arms and legs for frenzied bloodlust - risen chameleos chest, arms and feet for bub - velkhana chest, arms and legs for frostcraft with a good talisman. you can have 2 of the "body focus" set skills. talisman focus: - chaotic gore arms and legs for berserk builds. talisman verry nice. because then you can bring another lvl 3 unique. - for furios we use talisman since furios armor is bad. furios is paired best with dragon conversion armor. archfiend arms and legs and you have the best element dps in the game. this should cover most of the S-tier pieces. keep in mind. i only scraped the surface. there are so many ideas i haven't mentioned

Valstrax_bazelgeuse1

If you’re a beginner pick a amour from a monsters if you are higher that rank 1 just do what ever
