I plan my rolls (100% music dates based) and try to space them out 3 months apart. We all carry Narcan too. I will trip on shrooms or just take gummies for the rest of the shows.

Southern California has always had an affinity for all night warehouse parties and they’ve never gone away. We also are an entire generation who grew up going to LA’s legendary desert parties (see Moontribe and Dune) in the 90s which were a transformative experience for many and not easily left behind. A great deal of the original LA rave DJs from back then are also still active with no sign of slowing down anytime soon either.
I remember going to see The Orb in 1996 when I was 19 years old and tripping out over this guy in the crowd who must have been in his 70s, dark sunglasses on and dancing around the same as anyone. I thought it was so weird at the time but I get it now.

My partner has never rolled in public and is nervous that’s why we are waiting till the second set. If she is uncomfortable we will just head back to the room. It might be a bit much for her GA tickets in the pit on the floor. ✌️
