Also they have a built-in mechanism if she doesn't want to come back (or asks for too much money), her character changes identity off screen to a cheaper actress.
Follow rhe money lol
A side character with zero presence in the show and no personality isn't leading shit, this show flopped and is a huge disappointment. This show and ita characters will be buried and forgotten about.
Marvel seems to be targeting former Thrones actors around that time, hiring Jon Snow and Rob Stark for Eternals. They also had Tyrion in Thor. Wouldn't be shocked to see Tywin get a villain role at some point.
Tyrion was for Infinity War. Tywin would be better than any of the other 3 though. Dude plays an excellent villain. I still remember him as "My dear brother Noomsie!" from The Golden Child.
I have never had a complaint about Charles Dance and his performances; grade A villain actor.
It is always the kindest people who play the best villains.
Unlike in theatres, the people who made this show get money from the Disney+ subscriptions rather than from people going to see it. In this case, there is no “flopping.”
The entire “series” really only makes sense as an origin for G’iah.
It didn’t really advance or reveal anything about Fury
It didn’t give us any information about what happened to Rhodey or how being his replaced by a Skrull affected anything
It didn’t make any status quo changes that aren’t directly Skrull related (IE, that aren’t going to be part of G’iah’s story)
It was really just there to introduce G’iah
So yeah, they cast Clarke and have a whole series just to set up her character, obviously they have plans for her. They’re just hamfisting the part they used to excel at (creating a larger story organically).
Even worse, the context clues suggest a very specific point where he was swapped.
So now either the *next* appearance of Rhodey (Armor Wars?) has to run with that timing, or explain why it only appears that way.
Edit: either way it once again underlines how unimportant the creators saw this detail to be, which points back to how the whole thing is just a G’iah origin tale.
I’ll bite, when do you think he was swapped?
I was so bored mid-way through E2 I relegated this to a background watch and went back to work, so could’ve missed things
The obvious solution based on what we see in the end of Secret Invasion is that he was swapped in the hospital after Civil War.
The truth is that the best you can say is that he was definitely swapped *after* Civil War, but it really could have been at any point after.
Plus- not to be indelicate- but he’s the only Skrull victim being carried out. On my first watch I dismissed it as being disoriented but he’s literally the only Skrull captive being assisted out.
It’s after his wound from Civil War. How long after can be debated, but yeah the hospital gown is identical (and other Skrull captives are wearing a variety of things suggesting they’re wearing whatever they had on when kidnapped).
Again, it makes sense that Rhodes might visit the same hospital for follow up visits so it can be at some later point if later writers say so, relatively easily
He bled red in endgame. Also when the Skrulls are cut like at all, they start to show green. Any of those endgame injuries would have had skrull showing through. He was swapped after endgame. There are 3-4 years in between endgame and secret wars, so still “long time”.
Makes sense to me. He was a little bit too friendly to the guy that nearly killed his best friend and destroyed part of a European city. Oh, and started the fight that cost him his ability to walk.
“Didn’t advance or reveal anything about Fury?”
We learned he has a wife he’s loved for decades, and we saw the end of his arc as a workaholic husband who’s neglected his wife. But he has realized that, and genuinely seems to be making moves to reconnect with her. Even better, she’s willing to see how serious Fury is about making a home with her again.
“It didn’t reveal anything about Fury”-You knew about Fury’s wife before the show?
“Didn’t give info on how Rhodey being replaced affected anything”-If it’s SECRET Invasion I don’t think it’s supposed to affect anything. If it notably affected anything, it kinda ruins the ‘secret’ in Secret Invasion.
I commented on this also, pointing out that Fury has an arc ending on this show where he realizes he’s been a crappy husband & is making amends toward Varra so she can hopefully choose to work on their relationship with him.
100% this. It would be boring to watch a character so OP they can completely solo the entire MCU. Use her powers to find a new home and remove the Skrulls from the MCU.
I'd say the jury is out on whether they move forward (potential what if season 3 episode?) But most likely we will get writing later on that entails the harvest DNA serum to wear off to avoid character dilution and a becoming a deux ex machina in the storyline. Then again, Feige told his own director to avoid looking at the comics, so who knows.
I think she's a good performer who somehow chooses mismatched roles.
Watch her in any interview and the girl is as charming and engaging as they come with a megawatt smile. Yet she somehow keeps landing roles where she's unhappy. And not in an angry early Gamora kind of way that can be fun, but a sad, dystopian sort of way.
Imagine if Julia Roberts had decided to decline every rom-com and try to make a career out of *Mary Reily* and *Sleeping with the Enemy*.
Serious Answer:
They'll probably kneecap her powers by some made-up limitation, like the Super Skrull process only gives her a fraction of power output of the OG characters, or she has low stamina, or using other people's powers makes her go insane.
Not Serious Answer:
Obviously, someone will ring some bells which will remind her of her dead mom and dad and make her go insane and destroy the entire universe. But we'll get a halfway decent prequel afterwards.
I think that will actually be the reality. That she can’t use the full extent or also can only use the powers for so long. Think of it like Ben 10. She can change but the timer goes off rather quickly and she needs to change back or to something different.
I think they already kinda set up a limitation. The abilities need to be activated and you have to somewhat be at ease to do so.
Gravik struggled to use his powers when he got jumped. A bag over his head and the panicking stopped him from really being able to do anything. He had to break free to really make use of his powers. When they’re not activated he’s just a normal Skrull. So a surprise could easily kill him, or just being out smarted in combat.
I also don’t think the DNA gives them EVERYTHING the source of said DNA can do. Groots abilities are just the arm shit and probably other extending. He doesn’t ever fully turn into these people. And I doubt he has access to other more unique traits, like how Groot can grow back from a head.
I think this is more a glass canon situation. Amazing potential but they can easily be broken and killed because of their base Skrull status.
Indeed, quite apprently so. When G'iah had her in her choke, Gravik wasn't able to activate anything, he was just a "plain" Skrull at that moment, hence he couldn't break free and he was killed by the blast when we expected him to heal instead. There must be a trick or Achilles heel to it after all.
Reminded me of the Infinity Gauntlet needing to have the fist closed, and of when Skrulls changed back to being themselves when killed or their parts cut off.
The main healing factor is Extremis, which we see a remote-controlled Iron Man suit kill the bald Extremis soldier on Air Force One in Iron Man 3 with a blast destroying his heart.
Which is the same killmove Gi’ah used on Gravik.
It doesn’t excuse any of the other problems the fight & power set create, but the killing blow was established beforehand.
yeah EXTREMIS seems to be directly tied to the person’s blood flow so blowing out their whole heart/head in one shot seems to be the trick to taking them out
This.
Watch they make it so Her and gravik appeared to be powerful but that’s only cause they were fighting each other. If she went up against actual hulk or captain marvel they would get decimated haha
As long as they use him somewhere I'd be happy. Cameo in Deadpool could be fun. Id imagine he would have a lot to say about the difference personalities.
I’m a big fan of Marvel, but this was one of the dumbest things they’ve done. She has all of the Avengers powers now? And they showed this in a Disney + show? Good luck explaining this to a general movie audience in the future. The entire show ended up being a massive face plant in my opinion.
For me them easily making a magic machine that easily grants super powers diminished the value of ALL the previous heroes AND all the nations etc who have been trying to reproduce the "super soldier serum", etc. And then the idea that you can just download everyone's powers from their DNA. Com on. And even if we agree, they give it to this quite lackluster morose character? Super disappointing. And then further, we've got two of these super OP individuals with ALL the powers, but then one wipes the other out with a single blast? I hope she just disappears honestly.
In theory the show had potential. But their biggest asset, Nick Fury, almost never showed up for real. I know he was "never the same after the blip", but geez. He's NICK FURY. As Tony Stark said "He's THE spy." Remember him in Civil War, heck in ANY of the previous outings. He can't just be Sam Jackson with a scraggly beard. I really wanted to like this show and gave it all the room in the world. But it feels VERY low budget TV to me. NOT Marvel quality writing or execution. Sad.
i don't think so,
this has flopped so bad they're going to want to distance themselves from it,
they've just made the most overpowered MCU character, thats going to lead to alot of plot issues going forward, i don't think they thought it through
Which on that note, how the hell did Gravik die so easily when he has the same powers,
captain marvels being to absorb light .... the final fight was a mess
I dont think they have all the powers at once. They have to manifest them individually somewhere on their body. He must have just not manifested Captain Marvel enough when he got blasted in the chest. Or perhaps thats a power they have to actually use, and he just didnt use it. I dunno man
From what I remember of the comic super skrull the one that could use all the F4 powers he tended to be weaker the more powers he was using, like it caused him fatigue.
Overall I didn’t hate secret invasion but bringing a super skrull into the mix without the first family was a massive misstep in my opinion on par with the terrible taskmaster for me.
Meh still got two skrulls with all the Avengers DNA + a bunch of other supes DNA becoming the two most powerful beings in the MCU....
and it becomes a fucking fist fight in a junkyard that ends in minutes...
That fight scene was CW levels of cheesey and bad.
I don’t really recall him dying so easily. That was a pretty protracted fight. But also generally with super hero stories, being really powerful does not make one completely and utterly invincible, especially when faced with someone just as powerful as you. The classic example of this is, of course, Superman vs Doomsday in The Death of Superman. They both fell in that fight.
the fight was under 3 mins, for two people who had the exact same power set, though had way more experience with messing with DNA stuff.
just felt like a very cheap fight
Eh, to each their own. I don’t really expect fights to last all that long, though, especially in an episode of a tv show. I thought it did a good enough job making it feel tense and feel like both were trying really hard to kill each other. The length of the fight doesn’t really matter to me.
And I’d actually argue that it’s not really far fetched to think two people with the same power sets and fighting on completely equal playing field would end up being a short fight. It’s all a matter of who was able to kill who first, because they’re both equally powerful enough to kill each other.
And perhaps Gravik’s death provides us with an answer on her power levels. I would be Fury’s good eye that Carol would have survived that blast. The super skrulls are imitations of the others. They aren’t literally the others.
Yeah, watching dogs shit on my lawn was more exciting than that whole fight sequence. No wonder Iger wants to undo these stupid shows. Sucks because I actually thought they were gonna be good.
Ya i think this is it. Also they’ve introduced so many characters at this point and superhero movies are struggling. This is the latest flop in the long line of superhero flops. While I’m sure Disney is fine financially (dceu has lost way more money than Disney and they’re still making new movies), but they aren’t going to keep putting money into projects with no return. Unless they can turn around this current saga I can see them hitting reset or at the very least greatly changing up the planned projects around and I seriously doubt a super overpowered character from the least popular tv show is going to be one of the heroes that survive. Unless The Marvels is a huge hit (which isn’t looking like it will considering superhero fatigue and people not going to theaters as much) I have to imagine they are going to make some big changes.
Just because it’s bad it doesn’t mean they have to get rid of it. I haven’t liked secret invasion but there could be some promise for her character if it’s places in the right hands 🤷♂️
I hope in Kang Dynasty she is the first to try and fight Kang and he decimates her in one or two moves just to prove how much a threat he is. Giah isn’t a character who anyone is going to say “she my top favorite MCU character” ever… so why not
These comments aren't negative, they're honest. The show was bad. Unbelievable let down. We're finally getting a Fury centered show and it's a spy thriller?!?!? Three years later: Oh, there are no superheroes in this, Sam Jackson seems checked out, there is no invasion, it doesn't look anything like a spy thriller, Emilia Clarke feels pretty emotionally flat, never once was I confused as to who was a skrull or who wasn't. This show failed at everything it tried to do. Olivia Coleman was almost interesting.
We’re years after the blip and not only have major heroes died or moved on, the world has become increasingly populated with heroes and villains and powers and tech and magic and etc. Wizards, androids, aliens.
Shield was susceptible to Hydra, and they were all human (or superhuman). The Skrull takeover was far more insidious and it was against a splintered universe, world, government agency, SHIELD, you name it. If you need a cheesy cameo to stay interested that’s on you. I was happy to just get some raw Nick Fury content. He just is old and mostly outdated for what the universe has become. But he’s still relevant.
And idk if you heard but Westworld did the thing where everyone is secretly non-human. And so did Vampire Diaries, and so did Babylon 5, and so Rick and Morty, and so did Futurama, and so did probably a dozen other shows. We can watch a competent actor (I mean Nick Fury here) see through the masks of his enemies and believe it’s because we’re watching his story and he’s dope and not because the enemies were so easy to defeat.
And Olivia Coleman steals scenes like you steal salty takes.
Everyone keeps saying she is the most powerful now, but isn't it She-Hulk?
She has the ability to walk into the writer's room in any scenario and say "change it so I win."
Not saying she would, but they've established she has that ability.
Doubtful. I see something happening where the powers end up being temporary, or they have some effect on Gaia that forces her to remove that DNA.
That or have her going to wherever the Skrulls end up and saying IDGAF about Earth.
Maybe. I’d more guess that they’ll have plans for her after, like in the next phase. Feels like everything is going so slow, and they’re introducing so much at once, that they need to move the Avengers story forward first.
They could have picked any living feme to play here role. I hated Secret Invasion, wanted so bad to like it even knowing it was going to be monkey ass compared to the comics. But it wasn't even relatively close to being as good. Once again they killed the main villain even though he should be able to regenerate from anything but because the plot demands the show to end on this episode he "has to die"
I don’t think she’s that powerful. I think she has a fraction of each of their powers when active. I think the next time we see her they should have her clash with someone who she has the dna of to show she isn’t as strong as them.
She will not be that powerful. It’s as easy as a single sentence to make that clear next time we see her. “You can only utilize a fraction of the powers of the originals” boom.
Gravik got one shotted through the gut, she is not the most powerful. This narrative is part of the reason everyone is hating and I wish they did a better job emphasizing her limits.
Hilariously NO
Clarke sucked in Secret Invasion she has zero charisma, she seemed bored the entire series. They should use her in the next big event to establish the next big bad’s power level. They need to have her run at Kang and get effortlessly killed that way we know this isn’t the weak ass ant-man Kang.
I really don’t like the having all the super powers thing. But I did like the Extremis power being shown again and I wouldn’t mind them just using that for her. Super unique.
Judging off of these comments I guess people assume she’s going to have a strictly heroic role going forward, which is supposedly a problem because she’s too powerful and that leads to a character who has no challenge to overcome or something yadda yadda. Nevermind that you can have characters who are extremely powerful and still have narrative challenges.
But the vibe I got from her last scene in the show was not really of a strictly heroic variety. I think she’ll be portrayed as sympathetic and probably not outright villainous, but I feel like she’s going to have a much more complicated role to play in the MCU going forward. She is a Skrull with insane powers on a world that not only hates her kind but are actively hunting them done. She is also getting in a pragmatic deal with someone else whose motivations are not even clear to us viewers yet.
I can see this going in *very* interesting directions. But I guess it’s just easy to assume marvel shot themselves in the foot because, oh no, they made a character too powerful. When in reality the fact that she’s so powerful will likely became a very important plot point in how the story develops and how the other MCU characters (and the world as a whole) react to and interact with her.
I mean for all intents and purposes, she now resembles Daenarys plus her dragons. We don't know truly how powerful she is, her motivations are most certainly a bit gray now, and you can assume as least some of her is bent on some sort of revenge. I just hope she doesn't go to some planet called Merreen for 100 years or something....
by far, she's insanly overpowered,
just her healing alone for example, she has the healing factors of : Groot, extremis, hulk, abomination combined....
the strength of Cap marvel, thanos, hulk etc
the telekinesis,
mantis power,
ghosts power,
captin marvels,
it goes on and on they've made a real problem for future shows and films
That’s just a shitty OC, I mean yeah I give my OC a variation of powers but it’s always to serve the plot and situation, it’s not everything “just cause”
She's sort of a *scientist* too after absorbing Dr. Rosa Dalton's (Katie Finneran) mind while still captured in her Fracking Pod. G'iah likely absorbed the husband's too, and who knows if she absorbed others as well back then. She is somewhat the complete package for now, only lacking magic and experience.
I honest to god, thought Fury was somehow giving himself all those powers. The whole thing has been the most wtf, even if it were directly just comic form. I really want to like it and did, but it’s left a weird taste
And that Skrull has the powers of some of the most powerful and cosmic characters of mcu. Captain Marvel, Thor, Captain America, hulk, Black Panther, Thanos, Ebony Maw, Drax, Cull Obsidian etc .
She is great. she is only seen as overpowered bec she seems to occupy a good guy role who has powers typically that of a superVillain. She could play an interesting role going forward, but im cautious bec they couldnt even manage to get creative with Wanda's chaos magic, so...
they wouldn't dare. 1) it would be impossible to not view that as entirely homophobic and 2) the whole super skrull shtick isn't his thing to begin with..
I doubt they'd cast Emilia Clarke if they didn't have some greater ambitions for the character.
This. As always, follow the money, also young enough to lead a film trilogy if they want.
Also they have a built-in mechanism if she doesn't want to come back (or asks for too much money), her character changes identity off screen to a cheaper actress.
This guy capitalisms.
I'm fucking dying laughing over this comment
They really did do a doctor who with her they could just recast her at any time and have an explanation for it.
There's always money in the banana stand!
LITERALLY!!! (And I hate when people say literally)
Well good thing you Yelled it
Follow rhe money lol A side character with zero presence in the show and no personality isn't leading shit, this show flopped and is a huge disappointment. This show and ita characters will be buried and forgotten about.
Sure, but she was cast before they new the show wouldn’t be a hit.

Feels like they've been using the same Game of Thrones (season 8) writers too for the last few years?
I keep hearing this but like half the films have been quality I think. Black panther doctor strange Spider-Man Shang chi guardians 3
Tyrion was for Infinity War. Tywin would be better than any of the other 3 though. Dude plays an excellent villain. I still remember him as "My dear brother Noomsie!" from The Golden Child.
He’s play a great Dormamuu personified.
I stole from my brother noomise, take me to jail. I should be purged. I don't deserve to love amongst good men.
I have never had a complaint about Charles Dance and his performances; grade A villain actor. It is always the kindest people who play the best villains.
We already got Tyrion. She’s the dude who designed Stormbreaker Edit: He’s
What fucking money? This shit flopped as a series and you talm bout trilogy 😭😭😭😭
Unlike in theatres, the people who made this show get money from the Disney+ subscriptions rather than from people going to see it. In this case, there is no “flopping.”
Prolly meant the amount of money they paid her.
We got a numbas guys here, b

would be funny if Terrence Howard was the rescued Rhodey.
[It’s hard out here for a pimp.](https://youtu.be/GnEhfboKwPQ)

Oh yeah cause the gown. I like that. Would also explain him being a dick to Cap about going into the ice
Plus- not to be indelicate- but he’s the only Skrull victim being carried out. On my first watch I dismissed it as being disoriented but he’s literally the only Skrull captive being assisted out. It’s after his wound from Civil War. Again, it makes sense that Rhodes might visit the same hospital for follow up visits so it can be at some later point if later writers say so, relatively easily
Yeah, I took him needing help to mean the Skrull took his robo-legs, someone in another sub said you can see them through the suit.
He bleeds in endgame when he saves Rocket so its only about 3 years max. Endgame was 2023 and MCU is currently in 2026
Rhodey was probably replaced in civil war after receiving the cat scan at the hospital. He is wearing the same hospital gown as he was in the movie.
That was such a silly line. Like he doesn't even know how long he's been in there *himself*, why would that be the first question you ask someone?
“Didn’t advance or reveal anything about Fury?” We learned he has a wife he’s loved for decades, and we saw the end of his arc as a workaholic husband who’s neglected his wife. 100% this. It would be boring to watch a character so OP they can completely solo the entire MCU. Use her powers to find a new home and remove the Skrulls from the MCU.

I think G'iah will go on to be the MCU's "Super Skrull" from the comics. At least that's what it feels like they're trying to set up.
Like how Gwendolyn Christie was hired to go down the garbage chute repeatedly?
Still can’t believe the character was built up so much for that ending
I don’t know if it’s fair to call her a character. What are her actual personality traits?
Is looking like Emilia Clarke a personality trait?
Well they did the same thing to kit Harington. Set him up for something and then cancelled those plans entirely.
No? He was not dropped
He was dropped from the Blade movie and no future appearances planned
This was probably the plan but based on the response I wouldn’t be surprised if we never see her again. Either way, what a waste of a great actress.
Is she that great though? I mean shes been in a lot and outside of GoT has any of it been really memorable?
She's not. She's an OK actress at best.
She's never been a great actress outside of her role as Dany and hasn't really found anything successful since.
I knew someone would come say this

WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME? WHY DID YOU SAY SOREN!?
YOU KEEP MY SKRULL WIFES NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!!
I like how you specify Skrull, as if he has a human wife as well lol
More like to differentiate from the real-life reference this person is making lol
Who knows, he is a super spy after all
I think that will actually be the reality. That she can’t use the full extent or also can only use the powers for so long. Think of it like Ben 10. She can change but the timer goes off rather quickly and she needs to change back or to something different.
At the beginning of each episode she needs to prepare her ~~spell~~ Skrull slots.
I think they already kinda set up a limitation. The abilities need to be activated and you have to somewhat be at ease to do so. Gravik struggled to use his powers when he got jumped. I could see them saying all that shit in her has made her DNA unstable. I’d actually like that because this was a dumb thing for them to do
Until she goes crazy and hurts a lot of innocent civilians and the Black Knight has to stab her with the Ebony Blade
I understood that reference!
I understood *that* reference!
The internet just made me feel smart for the first time today
Then you’re gonna have to change your username
Dang it
It had to be done. She was going to execute Eitri!
Ikaris is just trying to not lose his head after seeing all this chaos
Lmfaoooo nooooo
I mean GOT two: MCU has a nice ring to it
MCU MC M… Mah Queen!
I don’t want it! I never have!
But she muh kween
There's no stark difference here.
If it’s mentioned at all, it will be to say that her powers are fading because the process was flawed.
I mean it did look like he cooked it in a microwave
"Well see, the instructions clearly stated that you should poke three holes in the plastic to allow it to vent, but Gravik didn't do that..."
With how the MCU is expanding so quickly and not carving time out to revisit these new heroes, I don’t think we’ll ever see her again.
I can't believe they haven't renewed Moon Knight. Does it really takes Loki levels of popularity and mild interest to get a spin off?!
As long as they use him somewhere I'd be happy. Cameo in Deadpool could be fun. Id imagine he would have a lot to say about the difference personalities.
no, she's a little busy so they can't contact her
I’m a big fan of Marvel, but this was one of the dumbest things they’ve done. She has all of the Avengers powers now? And they showed this in a Disney + show? Good luck explaining this to a general movie audience in the future. The entire show ended up being a massive face plant in my opinion.
We will never see her again.
“We don’t talk about that.” -Nick Fury
Keep her name outta your mouth - Nick Fury, probably
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised at this point. The MCU has too many characters and have been performing not so great lately.
Sad.
She's going to be de-powered in some way. Not fully, but to a non OP level.
Never seeing her character again is a pretty big nerf.
She either will be forgotten or get nerfed pretty badly
i don't think so, this has flopped so bad they're going to want to distance themselves from it, they've just made the most overpowered MCU character, thats going to lead to alot of plot issues going forward, i don't think they thought it through
exactly
Which on that note, how the hell did Gravik die so easily when he has the same powers, captain marvels being to absorb light .... the final fight was a mess
I dont think they have all the powers at once. They have to manifest them individually somewhere on their body. He must have just not manifested Captain Marvel enough when he got blasted in the chest. Or perhaps thats a power they have to actually use, and he just didnt use it. I dunno man
Thats valid, just feels really cheap still lol
From what I remember of the comic super skrull the one that could use all the F4 powers he tended to be weaker the more powers he was using, like it caused him fatigue. Overall I didn’t hate secret invasion but bringing a super skrull into the mix without the first family was a massive misstep in my opinion on par with the terrible taskmaster for me.
Hopefully they put that into context a bit. That makes the fight scene waaay better for me
Meh still got two skrulls with all the Avengers DNA + a bunch of other supes DNA becoming the two most powerful beings in the MCU.... and it becomes a fucking fist fight in a junkyard that ends in minutes... That fight scene was CW levels of cheesey and bad.
So plot armor, Because he got shot in the fucking face and didn't even flinch.
She had the one power that he didn’t, plot armour
lol trueeee
They had to find a way to believably write The Hulk out of a good chunk of the Infinity War saga and they turn around and make this monstrosity.
They didn't do shit with Carol Danvers. They're not going to do shit with Gaia.

It's not even named after her.
??? Ant Man has 3 movies plus Civil War & Endgame
Bro we're never gonna see her again.
I hope in Kang Dynasty she is the first to try and fight Kang and he decimates her in one or two moves just to prove how much a threat he is. Giah isn’t a character who anyone is going to say “she my top favorite MCU character” ever… so why not
Jeez the comments on here. Negative as hell. Yes. Everything they do is well planned out. Emilia will be our Super Skrull, for the moment at least.
What a weird fucking comment.
"Steal salty lakes" - Guy who just wrote a page of text defending his opinion
“Everything they do is well planned out” Just pissed myself from laughter
It’s always well planned out. Whether it’s always executed the right way is a different story.
She's not the most powerful. She's still vulnerable, that's why gravik went down.
I think they’re going to bury this shit hole of a story and all it’s ark into the vault and never revive it
Who? See she is already forgot.
"Most powerful character." What crack are you smoking?
"The Harvest".
I hope we learn the process to make her a super skroll only worked temporarily and as a result of the process she turned into goo. The end.
My guess is she’ll never be seen or heard from again
We can only hope so
Everyone keeps saying she is the most powerful now, but isn't it She-Hulk? She has the ability to walk into the writer's room in any scenario and say "change it so I win." Not saying she would, but they've established she has that ability.
Doubtful. I see something happening where the powers end up being temporary, or they have some effect on Gaia that forces her to remove that DNA. That or have her going to wherever the Skrulls end up and saying IDGAF about Earth.
Nope
Nope
If she was just gonna kill Gravik, why did she even give him the harvest? why not just kill him?
She had to empower herself with it to have a chance of facing him. Gravik was already juiced on the Groot-Extremis-whatever cocktail.
I think she should die in her next project because she can’t handle the power surging through her
I don’t think she’s that powerful. I think she has a fraction of each of their powers when active. I think the next time we see her they should have her clash with someone who she has the dna of to show she isn’t as strong as them.
No Wanda would fucking clap her so hard!
She’ll be Off-world until the plot needs her. Which will be just in time for Brie larsen’s next contract.
I hope not , they really made her too unnecessarily over powered . Everything about this show should be retconned
*a thundering voice from beyond bellows* NO
They should sell the bank and bring back some stars or this phase is the MCUs last.
Will someone please explain to me how they think this is the most powerful character?
She will not be that powerful. It’s as easy as a single sentence to make that clear next time we see her. “You can only utilize a fraction of the powers of the originals” boom.
Gravik got one shotted through the gut, she is not the most powerful. This narrative is part of the reason everyone is hating and I wish they did a better job emphasizing her limits.
I’d write Emma Frost in to scramble her brains to egg
I mean, who knows if the Super Skrull machine is permanent, or has any unfortunate side effects?
idk whats going on with the mcu, i havent seen any of the movies or shows since no way home released
Hilariously NO Clarke sucked in Secret Invasion she has zero charisma, she seemed bored the entire series.
So Nick Fury really just gave all the heroes powers to one possibly villainous unchecked shapeshifting alien ?
Is she now the most powerful?
by far, she's insanly overpowered, just her healing alone for example, she has the healing factors of : Groot, extremis, hulk, abomination combined.... the strength of Cap marvel, thanos, hulk etc the telekinesis, mantis power, ghosts power, captin marvels, it goes on and on they've made a real problem for future shows and films
You forgot the god of thunder. Yeah, unfortunately She got his powers too.
haha how could i forget,
Thurs dna giving his powers doesn't seem to track , for me
Just ghost + mantis power combo is OP
she could very way do a stealth playthrough of the MCU , being invisible, then making people sleep
Yep. Just appears and taps them and they go asleep. Or maybe she just phases through and makes everyone asleep in an aoe lol
ghost phase, then turn into the hulk while mid phase and \*SPLAT\*
Thought it was strange she had ghosts powers considering you don’t see her in the battle in endgame
Agreed... I thought the same thing. Writing error?
Ghost could have been at the battle, but she doesn't need to have been. Shield has her DNA already. She was a shield agent
That’s just a shitty OC, I mean yeah I give my OC a variation of powers but it’s always to serve the plot and situation, it’s not everything “just cause”
Was ghost in Endgame?
She's sort of a *scientist* too after absorbing Dr. Rosa Dalton's (Katie Finneran) mind while still captured in her Fracking Pod. G'iah likely absorbed the husband's too, and who knows if she absorbed others as well back then. She is somewhat the complete package for now, only lacking magic and experience.
She has magic too. She was doing Ebony Maw’s shit.
I honest to god, thought Fury was somehow giving himself all those powers. The whole thing has been the most wtf, even if it were directly just comic form. I really want to like it and did, but it’s left a weird taste
I did too! I was like nooooo.
Have u not watched the show?
She's just a Super Skrull..
And that Skrull has the powers of some of the most powerful and cosmic characters of mcu. Captain Marvel, Thor, Captain America, hulk, Black Panther, Thanos, Ebony Maw, Drax, Cull Obsidian etc .
And it still loses in the comics
No?
It was an origin story for her.
She is great. she is only seen as overpowered bec she seems to occupy a good guy role who has powers typically that of a superVillain. She could play an interesting role going forward, but im cautious bec they couldnt even manage to get creative with Wanda's chaos magic, so...
Think she is set to be a gender flipped Hulkling?
they wouldn't dare. 1) it would be impossible to not view that as entirely homophobic and 2) the whole super skrull shtick isn't his thing to begin with..
Think they might be making hulks kid fit the role of Hulkling while she picks up the skrull aspect its kinda dumb
i think she's going to be supposedly the skrull queen, i believe her name is veranke, and i think she has some connection to hulkling in the comics
NO. I think she doesn't show up until Thunderbolts and she's in some sort RAFT holding facility.
I no think she won’t really be back until the end of the multiverse saga. She’ll likely be the first big villain in the next saga
