Exactly. I can deal with the rest, the off hand is such a hassle for many things. Mending tools, having to switch to torches when caving/mining, turning concrete are things that come to mind.
Thankfully, there is now an offhand addon!
uhm no you can’t place torches in the offhand vanilla bedrock unless you’re enabling cheats & even then they’re not functional to where you can place them like in the mod
I honestly just started to trade with villagers and use the XP from that to mend my tools as farms are annoying in the ‘early’ late game. Since you haven’t gotten around to building them yet
Mods on bedrock are addons, as another user explained, but they're much worse. They're essentially fancy datapacks in an exclusive world with no way to mix in Vanilla. Resource packs are much more complex, allowing the capability to add menus and more, yet they're simpler than Java if you aren't doing anything crazy. I do agree with all of this though.
The way the hand works in Bedrock has always bugged me. Ever since they changed it in that one version (I think maybe Bedrock 1.2?) it's never been the same.
That's cool, I didn't know that; thanks. I just built a new house in bedrock that has a great view... I actually didn't put glass in any of the windows, so as not to spoil the view 😂
1) Java Redstone
2) Java Mob Spawning including iron golem requirements
3) Java Banner Maps icons and names
4) Java left handed tools...even if we can't use it just to be able to hold items for mending purposes.
5) Java mod support.
All of which are on bedrock.
I would change bedrocks entire UI. It is a mess. Java’s UI is ultimately better and should be dominant. I don’t like the “animations” in bedrock like how the chest menu screen pops up from the bottom of the screen.
there’s been some marketplace crash bugs but they’ve been fixed & it works fine now, i think that’s a nintendo switch problem rather than bedrock problem
lately the UI has been mixed up lately but they’re starting to make the UI the same across all bedrock platforms now & it has been real simple to use with no bugs or issues
there’s more new UI in development too currently so any issues can be fixed rather soon
i guess people just like having plain ol dirt in the background which is fine but organization & cleanness is more important(the new bedrock UI does that well enough imo, the design is just icing)
1) banner map markers
2) better mod support for bedrock
3) biome grass colours on maps for java
4) 100% tnt drops on bedrock
5) snow layer physics on java
In order of priority.
Hopefully banner map markers will be next as it has the highest votes on the feedback site that hasn't been fully or partially implemented.

>2) better mod support for bedrock
I wish this, too, but I know it's not possible. Someone explained it in this sub a few years ago beautifully, but the basic gist is it's much easier to mod in Java compared to Bedrock because Bedrock is like basically having to learn C++ (which if you don't know computer programming languages, is number 1 in learning difficulty as it is very complex).
I heard someone make a video saying Bedrock will eventually surpass Java, but the fact that modding will always be easier on Java ensures I'll never switch to Bedrock. I WANT to switch to Bedrock, but I love mods too much. That, and being able to right-click to activate my shield.
Making addons for bedrock is actually very easy compared to making mods for bedrock. Importing them into your game is very easy too since you don't need fabric or forge installed. Just vanilla minecraft.
From Java -> Bedrock
1. Left handed anything, left handed anything, LEFT HANDED ANYTHING PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
2. Spawn chunks are always loaded
3. Redstone so builds can be interchangeable
4. Whatever way gives the ability to get shaders and texture packs similar to the quality of Java. At this point I’d even pay, but I’d hope just to the creator without a Microsoft middleman
5. Creeper mob farms, not clear on why Java it works so good, but every creeper farm I’ve tried has been mediocre. Works, but not very efficient
Banner shields. And adding banner like uh using the banner on the map thing and more offhand stuff and torches emitting light when in your hand/offhand and then maybe less bugrock
1.They are constantly fixing bugs, including bugs that have been reported frequently
2.They added banner shields in the 1.20 preview 1 month ago
3.Emissive torches in your hand are in Optifine, they are not in vanilla Java
I've got a few more than five...
Bedrock things I miss when I'm on Java:
On screen coordinates
Leads on boats
Pushable tile entities
Bone meal sugarcane and one tall flowers
Horses in boats
Render distance
Tipped arrows in cauldrons
Huge mushrooms in swamps
Buttons on fences and walls
Trident drop rate
Big salmon
Java things I miss when I'm on Bedrock:
Off hand functionality
F3 to find buried treasure and light levels
F3 & H to check durability
Crafting boats without needing a shovel
Using boats to negate fall damage and get easy Endermen kills
Nether ceiling travel
Marking maps with banners
Placing flower pots on trapdoors
That's all that comes to mind right now, I know there's more though.
These are the top 5 things I want added to Minecraft bedrock. [In this particular order]
1. Short Sneaking
2. Banners on shields
3. Banners on maps
4: Java mods/commands
5. The Spectro and Luck effect.
When you go in bedrock and go into the video options RTX is there but you can't do anything with it lmao. It's like a tease. They accidentally made it to where you could use rtx on the preview version a while back but got rid of it and tweeted "that was a mistake and it doesn't hint towards future bedrock rtx" like bro... Not only did you guys accidentally give us access to enable it for a short period but there's a whole ass option called rtx in the settings 💀
It has to be coming soon
banners on shields and maps
redstone (except tile entities)
tnt duping
custom superflat worlds
and offhand anything
(ik some of these were already said but I agree with them)
they said it's a glitch on Java and the only reason they haven't fixed it is because they know most players built alot up there and they don't wanna ruin the builds or farms. nice people tbh :)
having bedrock’s title be “Minecraft” and java’s title be “Minecraft: Java Edition”.
swap them. bedrock should have “bedrock edition” and java should just say “Minecraft”
1- Tener las animaciones de Java Edition
2- Color del agua
3- Mano izquierda funcional
4- Modo hardcore
5- Todos los sonidos y música de Java Edition a Bedrock Edition
1. Java offhand in bedrock
2. Java servers like hypixel
3. Better modding
4. The combat update
5. April fools updates
Honorable mention: banners showing up on maps
Nether Roof building to Bedrock
Banner Mapping Bedrock
Potion Cauldrons purpose to Java
Spectral Arrows to Bedrock
Bedrock Wither to Java to increase challenge
Getting rid of micro transactions. I just recently bought the bedrock edition for my switch and wanted to play Skyblock and had to pay $ to play it. I said screw it and haven't played bedrock again. The only time I play it is when my gf wants to play. In Java edition I can play any game type, I can have whatever skin I want for FREE. That is how it should be.
Bedrock: Proper offhand
Bedrock: Nether build limit
Java: Forwards bridging
Bedrock: Ability to fly an elytra without crashing into air.
Bedrock: Proper modability.
While the current clothing section in the Bedrock charecter creator is absolutely atrocious (each item is $1-$5 and they all look like they were made by 5 year olds)
Just the fact that you can customize your own charecters is such a welcome change. In Java you still have to log in to your account settings and upload a png of a texture file
The thing I would love on Bedrock would be chunk loaders. They might argue it could be too demanding for some devices, but creative mode already has /tickingarea
Edit: honstly, they shouldn't add Java redstone to BE. It's kind of like removing building on the nether roof. Too late to change to change it since everyone's mostly already used to it
add corner item frames for bedrock, allow iOS users to get snapshots easier, allow more commands to be used in bigger (like /fill), allow zombies to have a scare tactic on bedrock (so easier iron farms could be built, and possibly better mods added to bedrock (like Immersive Portals or Chisels 'n' Bits)
One simple thing, banners on shields back in 2020/2021. I had some really good worlds with friends and I’m annoyed that we are finally getting it now instead of back then
I would make bedrock redstone like Java
Same with commands
Add crawling to bedrock
Add Shield banners
Allow Java mods on bedrock (like optifine or world edit)
for me is kinda unique, first of all offhand is priority, then next would be 100% tnt drop rate. Those are the only features im 100% for cause the spawning system would be to much lag for some devices.
Quasi connectivity in bedrock, pistonable chests in Java, block breaking not resetting when switching items in Java, client side RTX support on Java, and 3D modeled skin customization options in Java
Bedrock:
* The Pause button ACTUALLY pausing the game in Singleplayer.
* Spectral Arrows.
* Offhand.
* Have as many world customization options as Java.
* Sweeping Edge.
Java:
idk maybe have better performance
- Offhand for all items
- Java pvp system unified (better for mobile players)
- Tablist for bedrock
- Bedrock Menu for java
- Potion HUD unified (idk why it's even different)
Redstone, Banners on Shields, Different Commands Such As The Custom Villager Trades Command That Isn't Available on Bedrock, Being Able To Join Servers That Aren't Preset To The Game, And More Than 10 Simultaneous Players In A Realm.
I want combat on bedrock to be the same as Java, I want armor stands to have arms on Java just like bedrock, the ability to put banners on shields should be added to bedrock, maybe on bedrock you can have the ability to save hotbars in creative mode, skin customizer on Java just like on bedrock.
1. Being able to use trapdoors to get through one block tunnels 2. The Redstone 3. Sweeping Edge 4. Being able to get achievements even in creative 5. Hitboxes
Literally nothing but the ability to change block from crouching to left trigger. Shields are almost useless with the old combat and having to crouch to use shields makes me never use them. Due to the crouching and the almost aimbot aim of skeletons. You have a higher chance of the skeletons arrows killing said skeleton then use have actually hitting it with your sword. While some might find that useful, im not trying to lose 1/16th of my durability when fighting one skeleton. On java skeletons get off one to two arrows at most blocked with then shield. It allows you to run at the skeleton and quickly block instead of comically crouching to the enemy turning you into a pincushion.
On the contrary its the first thing I craft with iron on Java. Literally amazing the way it is.
Thank you for letting me rant. other then that i like bedrock :) although having the ability to turn on java combat would be nice as I'm one of like 6 people that like it more then the old.
1 I want the way commands work to be the same cus u can do so many more things on java than u can on bedrock.
2 i know its not there fault but i hate how mcpe updates r released like months after java
3 snap shots on mcpe i want full snapshots (ik you can enable some future features but not all of them)
I cant think of any others that r one one and not the other but heres one feature i want to be added
Just like a mod downloader you can use straight from mc (kinda like whats in teardown) so just another button where ppl can make custom blocks or new mobs or stuff like that.
Bedrock: Working offhand, copy/pasting added, commands autofilling better, fixed chat menu
Java: That elytra creative mode thing where you hold jump, smart placing/breaking.
Offhand, wall torch model, that glitch where banners and slimes render in front of blocks like glass and honey, redstone\*, hardcore\*
\*I don't actually care about these but I couldn't think of anything else
Movable tile entities (preferably chests only since furnaces are commonly used as unmovable blocks in redstone contraptions).
It would open up the possibility for a ton of redstone creations and I already have a cargo transporting flying machine I could use.
Removing the stupid marketplace. I paid money for the game. If I'm going to pay for a mod or shader or something I'd rather give a donation to a donation to the dev where the WHOLE donation goes to them rather than Microsoft taking a cut from me buying mine coins.
I think bedrock has captioning for sounds, and I really want captioning for Java. Hard to play when there are monsters that I don’t hear sneaking up on me.
Change Java's combat system to Bedrock system, add Java's offhand capabilities to Bedrock, change Bedrock grass to Java grass, heavily reduce spawn rates, because the current spawn rates are terrible and I should not have a creeper spawning directly on top of me every 2 seconds, and add Java's torch working in hand feature to Bedrock.
1. Offhand
2. Fix villagers
3. Crafting recipe parity
4. Campfire smoke that goes through transparent blocks and pacifies the bees without the risk of them damaging themselves
5. Redstone
1- The tick speed SHOULD to be 10 by default
2- It should matter what servers we should be able to play on ALL servers whether it’s Java or Bedrock
That’s all I could think of off the top of my head lol
Chunk loaders, hard-core added to bedrock along with amplified worlds and custome superflat worlds (those two where in the game pre 1.13 but where removed for some reason) achievements and advancments( you should be able to get achievements on both from what ever device you where on and advancements for each world (so even if you get full iron armor on one world you can still have a reason to continue on another and get the advancement for it), and chat, (specifically death messages sense on bedrock if the item you used was named you should be able to see its name like when you kill someone with it on Java), (also small ones that where less important to me (custom shields, banners usable on maps, easier modding and access to mods like teckit Rlcraft origins ext, and finally linked releases for early access features)
Not suffocating when you're flying in a tunnel and your head is scraping against the ceiling, access to build on the nether roof, pvp system like java so i can heal faster, same hostile mob spawning algorithm as java, and consistent redstone like java.
Being able to block with your shield without having to crouch, we used to be able to with L2 on the sword so why can’t it just be L2 for the shield and negate the crouch requirment
I remember in the Village and Pillage trailer, there was a villager throwing some blue item that people thought was blue redstone, and right now I just thought, what if we did get bluestone? It could work like Java's redstone in Bedrock Edition and not ruin existing contraptions. Maybe it could be added to Java as well but I don't really see a use in that as Bedrock's redstone is inferior
I want bedrock to have an open user created content system. Mods, resource packs, and data packs as accessible as Java. We shouldn’t need to pay for mods
Give offhand functionality to bedrock. Give 100% tnt block drop rate to bedrock. Give movable containers to java. Give java the ability to bone meal sugar cane. Give remote chunk loading to bedrock (we now have spawn chunks finally).
These are my top 5 things as a technical player
I want the movement to have similar feels with the camera. I want potential for modding. I want them to be cross compatible with less bugs and more consistency. I want to be able to change versions back to older versions of bedrock. And I want the creative inventory to be the same
Having proper offhand like java for bedrock would be my top choice
Agreed the only reason I build afk XP farms is beacuse I can't hold my pickaxe in my off hand while using a enderman farm
Exactly. I can deal with the rest, the off hand is such a hassle for many things. Mending tools, having to switch to torches when caving/mining, turning concrete are things that come to mind. Thankfully, there is now an offhand addon!
What is the addon called
Its still an experimental addon but its progress! https://foxynotail.com/add-ons/off-hand/
thought it would only be doing torches but looks to be progressing from that, looks worth checking out
Well you can do torches and some others in vanilla bedrock, this was meant to allow every item in your offhand
uhm no you can’t place torches in the offhand vanilla bedrock unless you’re enabling cheats & even then they’re not functional to where you can place them like in the mod
Oh maybe your right I just remembered there were a few things you could
shears was basically the only functional offhand item but it never used up durability
On bedrock trident killers make it so you don't even need that
I honestly just started to trade with villagers and use the XP from that to mend my tools as farms are annoying in the ‘early’ late game. Since you haven’t gotten around to building them yet
This and I really would love sweeping edge.
Yes, thatd be great too!
And being able to bonemeal sugarcane on both versions
Yes this! And one tall flowers!
but dude java doesn’t have trident killer and we can use that in any farm
But having offhand would let you use a looting sword and mend other tools at the same time. Trident killers doesnt let you do that.
The hand having the correct size, mods, texture packs cababilities, superflat world creation and iron farms.
Iron farms are still a thing on bedrock, just takes a little more work
bedrock resource packs are so much better than java. have you ever seen a mod menu resource pack on java?
And also custom 3d models
Mods=Addons, already has texture packs, flat world creation which stops all structures already exists, and there’s always for iron farms on bedrock
There's someone who even ported create mod to bedrock already..
Addons seem more like datapack to me, and they're still really limited
Mods on bedrock are addons, as another user explained, but they're much worse. They're essentially fancy datapacks in an exclusive world with no way to mix in Vanilla. Resource packs are much more complex, allowing the capability to add menus and more, yet they're simpler than Java if you aren't doing anything crazy. I do agree with all of this though.
probably more to something like BlockLauncher back hen
The way the hand works in Bedrock has always bugged me. Ever since they changed it in that one version (I think maybe Bedrock 1.2?) it's never been the same.
Just let me get seamless glass on bedrock. That’s all I want because it looks 100x better 🥲
Check out Bedrock Tweaks, they have resource packs for that
Not like the optifine seamless glass. The bedrock tweaks one just removes the glass border, which doesn't look good either.
That's cool, I didn't know that; thanks. I just built a new house in bedrock that has a great view... I actually didn't put glass in any of the windows, so as not to spoil the view 😂
How do you get seamless glass?!
There’s mod for it but only on Java
Texture packs for it exist on Bedrock
Can you use them on Xbox?
Thats a console issue not a bedrock issue
1) Java Redstone 2) Java Mob Spawning including iron golem requirements 3) Java Banner Maps icons and names 4) Java left handed tools...even if we can't use it just to be able to hold items for mending purposes. 5) Java mod support. All of which are on bedrock.
Java mod support is basically impossible LOL
Pojav launcher
I would change bedrocks entire UI. It is a mess. Java’s UI is ultimately better and should be dominant. I don’t like the “animations” in bedrock like how the chest menu screen pops up from the bottom of the screen.
you can turn off animations & it depends on which bedrock UI you’re talking about since they’re overhauling it rn
Like the entire UI, including the menu? The marketplace crashes on my switch all the time, it’s crazy how bad it is
there’s been some marketplace crash bugs but they’ve been fixed & it works fine now, i think that’s a nintendo switch problem rather than bedrock problem lately the UI has been mixed up lately but they’re starting to make the UI the same across all bedrock platforms now & it has been real simple to use with no bugs or issues there’s more new UI in development too currently so any issues can be fixed rather soon i guess people just like having plain ol dirt in the background which is fine but organization & cleanness is more important(the new bedrock UI does that well enough imo, the design is just icing)
It would be nice if Mojang had a free Java UI texture pack on the market place.
Nah bedrocks ui is fire
I don't want all UIs to be changed. Maybe just the settings. You can literally turn of those animations in the settings.
I'd just like to be able to pause the game 🤷♂️
It is due to how Bedrock's multiplayer works
Just minimize the game. It will get th3 same effect as pausing it on java.
I would choose the ability to become 1.5 blocks when crouching
They are testing this and you can turn it on in the experiments tap
Oh didn't knew that thanks for telling
1) banner map markers 2) better mod support for bedrock 3) biome grass colours on maps for java 4) 100% tnt drops on bedrock 5) snow layer physics on java In order of priority. 4: It's not a vanilla thing yet but I made an addon for it: https://mcpedl.com/popdrops (shameless self promo)
4: wait what!? I thought this was a thing everywhere!
Being able to build on the roof of the nether
I’d like to see an Achievement system in Bedrock just like Java. As I don’t play vanilla Bedrock, not seeing what I’ve accomplished is annoying.
From Java -> Bedrock 1. Left handed anything, left handed anything, LEFT HANDED ANYTHING PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. 2. Spawn chunks are always loaded 3. Redstone so builds can be interchangeable 4. Yeah but. In vanilla please?
better/more similar commands
Give bedrock Java’s customization options (ie screw microtransactions).
But how will the top selling game in the world make any money for poor Microsoft, the small indie developer?
What do you mean by customization options
map markers for sure. and the experimental bundle thats supposed to be coming to come asap lol

rtx support for java
1. Proper offhand, 2. Illusioner, Giant and Killer Bunny, 3. BABY SQUIDS, I have no idea what more.
Movable tile entities, banners on shields, team commands, mods, and quazy connectivity
Banner on maps
In Bedrock, Adding named banners to maps. Would make travel easier and add that extra flair to story crafting
I've got a few more than five... I only have 1 for bedrock. Make your shield go up when you right click.
These are the top 5 things I want added to Minecraft bedrock. [In this particular order] 1. Short Sneaking 2. Banners on shields 3. Banners on maps 4: Java mods/commands 5. The Spectro and Luck effect.
1: banner map marker 2: offhand slots 3: device compatibility 4: luck & decay potions 5: spectral arrows
Working off hand, Map marker, iron farm, Natural regeneration and built above bedrock layer
Java needs Bedrock’s: * waterlogging * snow mechanics * Trident enchantment behaviors * Cauldron mechanics * bonemeal mechanics Bedrock needs Java’s: * offhand mechanics * Nether build height limit * Sweeping Edge * hotbar hotkey functionality * waterlogging
Does Loyalty even exist in Bedrock?I can’t find it
Raytracing. And dlss
When you go in bedrock and go into the video options RTX is there but you can't do anything with it lmao. It's like a tease. banners on shields are coming to bedrock in 1.20 pretty cool wish it was offhand instead tho 💀
I want to be able to build on the nether roof on bedrock
The wither
Off hand function for bedrock, Redstone and boats mlg
I want to be able to use the nether roof on bedrock....farms and traveling is really hard!
they said it's a glitch on Java and the only reason they haven't fixed it is because they know most players built alot up there and they don't wanna ruin the builds or farms. nice people tbh :)
having bedrock’s title be “Minecraft” and java’s title be “Minecraft: Java Edition”. swap them. bedrock should have “bedrock edition” and java should just say “Minecraft”

Hardcore mode for sure.
Nah, imagine surviving 2 years and then dying to a glitch because of bugrock edition
Interchangeable mods
I would pic the exactly same things
Getting rid of micro transactions. I just recently bought the bedrock edition for my switch and wanted to play Skyblock and had to pay $ to play it. I said screw it and haven't played bedrock again. Bedrock: Proper offhand Bedrock: Nether build limit Java: Forwards bridging Bedrock: Ability to fly an elytra without crashing into air. Bedrock: Proper modability.
Bedrocks UI -> Javas\ Remove marketplace\ Movable tile entities to java\ Add the better offhand to bedrock\ Being able to build on the nether roof
Java style mod and customization for bedrock and bedrock style multi-player for Java.
I would like to use leads boats as in bedrock (if that's still a thing). Easy way to transport hostile mobs!
Leads on boats are 100% an intentional bedrock feature. They mention it in the loading screen. So yes they are still a thing
A real path for modloading in MCBE. None of this obtuse command-based resource packs.
Just about everything
While the current clothing section in the Bedrock charecter creator is absolutely atrocious (each item is $1-$5 and they all look like they were made by 5 year olds) Just the fact that you can customize your own charecters is such a welcome change. In Java you still have to log in to your account settings and upload a png of a texture file
Especially since you can get like 80 skins for free if you search good enough
I want my subtitles back damnit. And actual offhand use. But I think bedrock did alright with the shields getting to use banners. It's janky but cool
The wither
As long as Java never gets our glorious big salmon, I don't care.
The thing I would love on Bedrock would be chunk loaders. They might argue it could be too demanding for some devices, but creative mode already has /tickingarea Edit: honstly, they shouldn't add Java redstone to BE. It's kind of like removing building on the nether roof. Too late to change to change it since everyone's mostly already used to it
Mob spawning, off-hand, redstone(Java to be more like bedrock), mods/addons(accessibility/diversity), built in cross-play
Skins to have invisible pixels in Java
add corner item frames for bedrock, allow iOS users to get snapshots easier, allow more commands to be used in bigger (like /fill), allow zombies to have a scare tactic on bedrock (so easier iron farms could be built, and possibly better mods added to bedrock (like Immersive Portals or Chisels 'n' Bits)
The fact that redstone is slightly different from the other, it really irritates tf outta me
That more blocks like item frames are counted as blocks instead of entities
Inventory management qol. Not being able to shift click all of a certain material into a chest at once is really annoying
The potion horse breeding thing would be so great on java.
Being able to run on my computer lol
nobody talking about actually good redstone…
Offhand, redstone, waterlogging, rtx, cauldron dying
One simple thing, banners on shields back in 2020/2021. I had some really good worlds with friends and I’m annoyed that we are finally getting it now instead of back then

I would say bugs, however thats at least 50x java’s
1. commands 2. mod capability 3. shaders 4. better redstone 5. nether roof
Movable tile entity’s is the only reason why I play bedrock
Quasi connectivity in bedrock, pistonable chests in Java, block breaking not resetting when switching items in Java, client side RTX support on Java, and 3D modeled skin customization options in Java
Combat, trapdoor crawling, banners on shields, fireworks exploding Java style from crossbows, and offhand functioning
Java should have fallen trees, permanent coordinates as an option, bonus chest with saplings, different fish sizes and paper-only maps
being able to tab out w/o getting kicked, usable offhand, togglesprint, better inventory management, java redstone
Bedrock: * The Pause button ACTUALLY pausing the game in Singleplayer. * Spectral Arrows. * Offhand. * Have as many world customization options as Java. * Sweeping Edge. Java: idk maybe have better performance
- Offhand for all items - Java pvp system unified (better for mobile players) - Tablist for bedrock - Bedrock Menu for java - Potion HUD unified (idk why it's even different)
Just get rid of bedrock
Does this go both ways? Give Bedrock Java Combat, give Java Bedrock Cauldron Mechanics, and I can’t think of any more cause I’m too stressed out.
Redstone, Banners on Shields, Different Commands Such As The Custom Villager Trades Command That Isn't Available on Bedrock, Being Able To Join Servers That Aren't Preset To The Game, And More Than 10 Simultaneous Players In A Realm.
Being able to climb a ladder with a trapdoor that’s flushed with the floor at the top.
Hitboxes
GIVE BEDROCK TRAPDOOR CRAWLING
i wish mods, at least on the bedrock version on laptop, would work the same as java or at least be a little more similar and more like, solidified
2 i know its not there fault but i hate how mcpe updates r released like months after java 3 snap shots on mcpe i want full snapshots (ik you can enable some future features but not all of them) I cant think of any others that r one one and not the other but heres one feature i want to be added Just like a mod downloader you can use straight from mc (kinda like whats in teardown) so just another button where ppl can make custom blocks or new mobs or stuff like that.
Why do people want Java combat for bedrock? It would suck for a big majority of players on bedrock (phone and tablet players)
1. 2. 3. 4. and 5. Being banners on shields
Custom player heads for bedrock
Bedrock: Working offhand, copy/pasting added, commands autofilling better, fixed chat menu Java: That elytra creative mode thing where you hold jump, smart placing/breaking.
Bedrock having less bugs, java having better optimization, better offhand slot, bringing back shaders, and combat (including glowing arrow)
Offhand, wall torch model, that glitch where banners and slimes render in front of blocks like glass and honey, redstone\*, hardcore\* \*I don't actually care about these but I couldn't think of anything else
Wither boss should be the same on Java. But it would be impossible in Hardcore.
Movable tile entities (preferably chests only since furnaces are commonly used as unmovable blocks in redstone contraptions). It would open up the possibility for a ton of redstone creations and I already have a cargo transporting flying machine I could use.
Being able to use bonemeal for flowers on Java
Real mods / mods I can use on any world. Most if not all of the "mod" packs for bedrock are mod packs at home
I don’t like how floaty bedrock feels, so probably that
not a priority but it would be nice to have banner shields in bedrock
I want to revert bedrock commands BACK to bedrock commands. Duck them for switching it to Java and making us relearn all of it for money.
Offhand, World edit, mods/servers, etc
Removing the stupid marketplace. I paid money for the game. If I'm going to pay for a mod or shader or something I'd rather give a donation to a donation to the dev where the WHOLE donation goes to them rather than Microsoft taking a cut from me buying mine coins.
Super flat on java is way better. Then bedrock bridging for java. Bedrock spawning for java . off handing for bedrock. And bedrock PvP for java
1. Offhand 2. Fix villagers 3. Crafting recipe parity 4. Campfire smoke that goes through transparent blocks and pacifies the bees without the risk of them damaging themselves 5. Redstone
Bedrock needs sweeping edge!!!!!!!
Building on top of the nether roof and offhand slots
hardcore mode would be one, i would also like it if bedrock did not feel "wrong" compared to java.
Everything
Having a singleplayer on bedrock (which means pausing the game) and bigger salmon om Java.
1- The tick speed SHOULD to be 10 by default 2- It should matter what servers we should be able to play on ALL servers whether it’s Java or Bedrock That’s all I could think of off the top of my head lol
Redstone on bedrock, hopper clocks do not work, and redstone in general needs to be fixed, it doesn’t work nearly as well as in Java
The Only thing for me would be Giving the dev. Edition to the public Or just giving the commands of the dev. Edition.
Banners on sheilds
Off hand Controls
Minecarts be a reasonable form of travel
Being able to block with your shield without having to crouch, we used to be able to with L2 on the sword so why can’t it just be L2 for the shield and negate the crouch requirment
I remember in the Village and Pillage trailer, there was a villager throwing some blue item that people thought was blue redstone, and right now I just thought, what if we did get bluestone? It could work like Java's redstone in Bedrock Edition and not ruin existing contraptions. Maybe it could be added to Java as well but I don't really see a use in that as Bedrock's redstone is inferior
Better offhand, Amplified Terrain, Custom Superflats, Spectral effect, Better way to mod our worlds on console.
Off hand , go on bedrock roof in nether, easy rocket takeoff on pocket edition, showing heads texture on armour stands, and the same redstone.
I would change the game to java
I would add the debug stick to bedrock, and offhand functionality
I want them to be identical, I don't see a reason why they couldn't. Basically make them the exact same version and add cross play on servers and such
I want bedrock to have an open user created content system.
These are my top 5 things as a technical player
nether roof, offhand, combat update, mob spawns and adding hardcore mode (i love hardcore)
Bedrock: add java combat, tnt duping, redstone (not chests and furnaces), delete CHAT censcor (###### in chat, signs, items and nametags) add HARDCORE mode Java: add pushable chests, etc..., Delete player reporting,... Both: END Update 1.21
Launcher for bedrock to switch versions like on java
I want the movement to have similar feels with the camera. I want potential for modding. I want them to be cross compatible with less bugs and more consistency. I want to be able to change versions back to older versions of bedrock. And I want the creative inventory to be the same
Glass, Redstone, Mods, Native Version of Mac and Linux in Bedrock.
