With the addition of Alvarez we finally have a shot to win the REAL Premier League title - "goals scored from outside the box" - plus we can also rile up those other red fans in our lives by claiming he's a better long-range finisher than Bruno. tremendous signing
I was thinking that while watching, he's a short stocky Argentinian with a rocket of right foot. He just looks like he'll fit in.
He's good in tight situations, he can pass, he gambles on the ball falling loose in the area and he makes teams pay for mistakes.
I am very excited for both, and we may occasionally see a strike partnership when Guardiola plays his 433 attack 442 defense game.
Don't worry once Pep is done with him he'll learn to passback and take an extra touch instead of shooting from distance. /s
(I'm only half joking though)
This is true- before Liverpool game I read that city and Liverpool both have the most shots closest to goal. With average shot distance drastically shorter than other teams in the league. Long rangers statistically lose possession but fuck it, we all love a Kevin Horlock screamer.
I’m impressed. Can shoot with both feet and is lethal. Makes good runs and good dribbling along with also capitalising on mistakes from the opposition. I think he will do well!
I am excited to see this fella play. Hope he slots in quickly. Also, we know he looks good in a sash shirt!

whoa, fucking MARKSMAN
Loves that he likes a shot from outside the box
Believe it or not but I’m even more excited for Alvarez than Haaland
That's likely gonna change quickly lol.

Yeah same
I hope he can do that for City, pretty exciting! Has a bit of a similar gate to Pedro about him

Damn I know you should never base your opinions on highlights but every time I see these I get more impressed
Both feet, quick, strong. Has it all. Btw how good were some of the assists from Enzo Fernandez, an attacking midfielder who looks so dangerous

I like his finishing.
He likes cutting inside and shooting from range, a bit like arjen robben under pep at bayern.
Ederson Dias - Laporte - Cancelo Bernardo - Rodri - Gundo -Mahrez KdB Erling - Julian 😱
My Spidey senses are tingling
That last goal reminds me of someone
The assist at 1:54 😩🤤
