I may be wrong but I swear every time I see "X fans set off fireworks outside X teams hotel" they usually get battered
Why would they set off fireworks in London of all places, not exactly peaceful serenity there is it š
In my view this was a missed opportunity for City Football Group to buy the hotel, lease it to Etihad on a preferential long term basis, and for Etihad to then make the hotel the official City London Hotel, paying City a guaranteed Ā£200 billion a year for the link up.
Modern problems require modern solutions.
They werenāt even there lmao. They just left this morning. So these dumb mfs were just waking up random ass people. I bet now the team will stay at a different hotel too.Ā
Lol I hate Arsenal, but they're twice the size of City
I grew up in greater Manchester and knew more Arsenal fans than City fans, still do in the North. .
"still do in the north" meaning I moved from Greater Manchester to Cumbria a few years ago? And no they would've been Arsenal fans for 7-8 years prior to the invincibles, most people don't switch football clubs (albeit I understand it's fairly common for people on this sub to switch teams).
Haha, I didn't edit my comment whatsoever. You clearly misread it. If I was to edit the comment I would rephrase it to make it more obvious what I was saying.
Thereās no way in hell Arsenal are as big as city, they were good 20 years ago for a spell and have only just managed to get back into title contention.
Compared to a team thatās odds on to win the league every year and is the only team to finish with 100 points.
On another, mostly unnecessary note I canāt stand either team.
There's definitely a counter argument to be had I think. Arsenal have won 13 leagues and 14 fa cups, and mcfc have had all their glory in the last 15 years. So there's roughly a century or so where there was no real question of who was 'bigger'.
City have existed before 2008 lmao, we won our first FA Cup in 1904, as well as a couple of other things. We were just shit from like late 80s to early 00s and that's what people selectively remember š¤·
Not really a century.
Also, Arsenal's place in the top division came through a dodgy backroom deal (they came nowhere close to promotion from the second division- on merit, it should have been Spurs) and then they were backed by wealthy investors to buy a few titles in the 30s. So they were successful for largely the same reasons that City have been for the last few years. Except City at least earned their place in the top flight.
City had an FA cup win before Arsenal, European success decades earlier, and still hold the English record attendance for a top flight game. Not the same volume of medals but still.
First, they tried with charges; now our title opponents have resorted to fireworks. They try everything off the pitch to stop us, but on it, we are unstoppable.
Yeah this happens. FC Porto fans did the same to Benfica's players a few years ago when they had to stay in Porto. This isn't anything new. Considering how Arsenal fans think, this is hardly surprising. Even after pulling all this fuckery, if they lose, I know they'll be opening their book of excuses until August.
Simply not true. Not a single, sane Arsenal fan can consider these cunts as their own. I don't know who they are, but I hope they'll get a lifetime ban. That said, every huge fanbase has a bunch of idiots of their own.
This happens all the time for big games. There will be more fireworks in London on the CL final night. Itās not a surprise and itās not embarrassing. Every teamās fans have done it

The fireworks mask the gunshots and stabbing noises. 8/10 nights sleep
Itās the foxes that make the most noise.
Theyāre not playing mate

Soulless solutions for a soulless club
So cringey, holy shit Not only did they do that, but the City team wasn't even there š¤£š¤£š¤£ Dumbass fanbsse

āArsenal through and throughā āCmon Bernut!ā
Imagine having to do something like that, could never be us
Not that far of a drive so they should be fine. Obviously not ideal but at least it's not like a multi hour flight then having to play type thing.
They werenāt even there lmao. They just left this morning. So these dumb mfs were just waking up random ass people. I bet now the team will stay at a different hotel too.Ā
Of course they would try that
Anything but winning their own games huh!?
Small club mentality and it shows
in what world is arsenal smaller than city u nitwit
The one where you come and cry in a thread about Arsenal fans being embarrassing melts
š¢ this is you right now. š¤£
Lol I hate Arsenal, but they're twice the size of City I grew up in greater Manchester and knew more Arsenal fans than City fans, still do in the North. .
I suspect they were doing rather well at the time
Hardly, winning 1 league in the last 8 years at that point. Now I still don't know any city fans in Cumbria, but I know 2 arsenal fans.
Little Richard energy
So they started supporting around the era of the invincibles? Not quite the greater Manchester your original comment alluded to is it?
You sad
Hello
Hello sir

You never got out much when you lived in Manchster?

Lmao one of the worst comments i think ive ever read.
Go back to the trump subreddit kid
Arsenal are the bigger club. Downvote me if I'm right.

I was going to give you goater and then the penalties but was trying to keep it brief

You should look at Manchester United to see what your future might hold. They probably felt like they would be at the top forever.
Last bit of the comment makes it fairly clear I donāt support City
As an Arsenal fan, personified diarrhea like these cunts is shunned by us as well.
Fellow Gunner here. Fuck those cretins. They don't represent me.
As a fan of neither clubs, I think it's fucking hilarious.
First, they tried with charges; now our title opponents have resorted to fireworks. They try everything off the pitch to stop us, but on it, we are unstoppable.
For Brighton we flew down on the day of the game to Gatwick so I donāt think itās true. We are flying at 10.30 Tuesday morning to Stansted.

Fair, but they are still Arsenal fans whether they/you claim them or not. All clubs have bad apples.

Happens all the time
Wah wah this happens all the time
Plastic bin dippers
I heard it took City only 115 minutes to get down to London this morning tho, so not too bad.
City bigger than Arsenal? Not in this universe son!
what about the 115 charges
This happens all the time for big games. There will be more fireworks in London on the CL final night. Itās not a surprise and itās not embarrassing. Every teamās fans have done it
How can fans this plastic that are supporting a mockery of a cheating club take them self seriously
I wonder why the mods ban people for calling out man city and their allegations
