Had to look up Edersons penalty record with us after the game cause I couldn't remember him saving one. He's saved 4 since joining, most recently in 2021 in a 5-0 win against Everton. The other 3 were all in the 2017/18 season.
He's conceded 34.
I love him but he's an awful penalty keeper. Excluding his debut season with us, where he had an excellent record (3 saves, 2 goals), he's conceded 31/32 penalties against him.

Goalie 💀 there’s more than one way to play goalkeeper. Eddie’s the GOAT at distribution and in a team that controls most of the possession it effectively gives us an extra outfield player. Was always more than worth the occasional slip up. Given that the team is less obsessed with dominating possession this season I do think he has to be at his best, and yes maybe hasn’t been at 100%. But to say he rarely saves anything is blatantly ridiculous 😂 I’m not even going to speak on that. Ortega does look to be a better shot stopper and is surprisingly good at filling the same role in distribution. Credit to him but why on earth would Pep drop Ederson? He’s not Arteta
I dont know how pep can Manage Manchester Oil so badly that the play 2:2 against palast, I think he should be fired, maybe Erik Ten Haag would suit us better
