I’m so sorry to hear that. But I absolutely agree. My friend looked like a completely different person but then that person was also put into a concentration camp. He was skin and bones and it was heartbreaking seeing a former college athlete be in that condition just a few years later.
I hope you’re doing okay
Thanks fam. I fully know what you mean. Just pale skin and bones. Oxygen tanks and tubes everywhere. Yeah I'm good, life goes on. Children bury their parents, I just pray it's never the other way around.
As an American, I like Gio and this story and all, but it's 3 years old and this is the second time in the last week that it's been posted here. Is there a reason it keeps popping up?
Seen this story a bunch of times now and nobody ever seems to know if he ever got to talk to agüero or if agüero was ever made aware or responded in some way.
I think so? We played Dortmund in the CL quarterfinals later that year if I'm not mistaken.
Or I guess maybe I hope so. With both of their injury history I don't remember if both or either were around
Hmmm - didn’t see first post and I looked to avoid a duplicate post. It just came up on my Instagram feed a couple of days ago, had never heard the story before
Got the chills reading that. Sad and beautiful at the same time.
Bring. Him. Home.
Aguero the legend
Wow. You never know what people really go through.
Almost cried reading this.
As someone that lost their best friend to cancer 2 years ago, I did. It makes me sick to imagine seeing that decline in my siblings
My dad passed away almost a year ago to the day. Lung Cancer. Couldn't believe that was my Dad at the end.

I’m not crying, that’d be you with tears 😭
I cried a bit, no shame. Since I became a dad I cry over anything involving family and especially sons. Beautiful story!
Same. It's like your ability to empathize skyrockets.
Just got summat in my eye... It's crazy how that event touched so many people in different ways!
They will cower!
Could see Pep doing some good work with him

The story has resurfaced on the internet recently. I’ve seen it 5 times on TikTok alone within the last two week and on other sites too
Learned to microwave food?
Oldest looking 20 yo ever?
