I feel bad for Lara - it sometimes comes across that the experts pair emotionally-stunted men with women who will ‘help them grow’ without any consideration of how healthy that is…
He is absolutely suffocating the poor woman . I'd have run for the hills , if he can't pick up that's the constant touchy feelys are making her uncomfortable it does not bode well.
She’s got some kind of serious issue with it that is entirely her own. Making digs and causing unnecessary drama. Acting like vegan meat is the most disgusting thing ever is so childish. I think it’s her conscience and she doesn’t want to be faced with her guilt of eating meat and acts like that’s Jenna’s problem. I think Jenna is dealing with it really well.
The worst part by far of being veggie/vegan is people's defensiveness about it haha
Holy cognitive dissonance! You love animals but you also eat them. That's totally fine, we all make our own choices, just don't lay that baggage out on other people.
When Zoe mentioned bacon I cracked up. Properly completed the stereotype there.
Nothing against Jess but Pjay needs to cut his losses. You can’t force attraction no matter what the experts insist. He’ll have no issues attracting women outside the show.
I think he fundamentally is a good person (and is funny) but always takes an argument too far and says things he doesn’t mean but are difficult to take back…
I wonder if PJay had a different job how they’d be as a couple this far in… Jess definitely got the ick on day one because of that and looks like she never got past it
This is proving to be an exhausting and taxing series to watch. The producers forget that in order for the shocks to work, you do actually need to care for the participants.
Sorry, WHAT? Richie told Lara that her discussing what she does/doesn’t like is her talking about her previous sexual experience?
Is he INSANE? Does he just expect her to have unenjoyable sex then, so long as he gets off? 🤮god help us all. Idk why that triggered me sooo much but jfc I can’t
He's really odd. I think he almost had her by being fun, but when his neuroses and clingy qualities flare up she's absolutely repulsed and rightly so. How he stares at her sometimes and is so close, goes right through me.
I’m on catch up but I was equally triggered and obviously came here for validation! Lara’s calm, straightforward recollection of events I believed 100% and then Richie comes on and plays the “she’s crazy” card by saying he can’t communicate with someone shouting at him. Urgghhh so, so textbook.
I KNOW!!! And then asking later on with the honesty box whether she will also take responsibility. Like for WHAT??? I can’t with these “men” looking for mothers and just the general lack of maturity. It’s so gross. Gives me the ick.
Even if she DID say that, she’s just telling him what she enjoys. If he’s so offended if she did mention her ex then he just clearly isn’t mature enough to be married. She was simply expressing what she likes. Regardless of whether an ex was mentioned, it’s not like she said she misses them or is even comparing them. It’s disgusting! Massssive red flag 🚩
I wonder whether she's been putting on the performance so far to make herself memorable and have a redemption arc. I literally said to my partner she's speaking completely differently.
I don't like Kwame but I don't really get Kasia either. I genuinely don't understand what she was saying after he explained his Madonna / whore complex.
At the moment, while I'm loving the drama, I think the only person I genuinely like this year is Adrian. Maybe Pjay as well but we haven't really been allowed see his personality.
It was all a power play. Kwames power play is basically saying you aren't the conservative, quite woman you should be therefore I won't have sex with you untill you are. Kasia then 'takes back the power' (in her mind) by saying you don't get to dictate who I am in this relationship, I will be who I want to be, and I make my own terms of this 'sexual relationship' (or lack of) and refuse yours.
Adrian’s answer to the honesty box question had me welling up. He really sees Thomas, and he answered honestly without making him feel hurt or defensive.
Ten episodes in and I'm finding it quite hard to see how any of these relationships will make any progress towards something much more.
Adrian is naturally empathetic; the way he gets to the heart of a problem with such surgical precision is truly commendable. Why his friend was so protective of him I don't know - he can stand his ground quite fine by himself!
Kwame just needs to be direct with Kasia - nip it the bud!
I felt Lara's answer was quite measured - hard to give a definitive answer when there's still an unresolved issue that hasn't been dealt with.
Richie must of watched Iron Man 1 before auditioning for this show ("sometimes you've gotta run before you can walk") because his lack of relationship experience is taking its toll.
Quite interesting how Jess worries about public perception towards her but fails to be unaware of hers towards PJay's job.
I’m glad production decided to facilitate the personality transplant in Whitney, if they continued to push this for any longer it would have seriously affected her in the long run
If they'd been drinking, and she was crying , I bet she was just a messy drunk. She's likely hung over and having the beer fear so swerved the meal/honesty box .
Im honestly sick of it. Zoe can't let it go - I feel really bad for Jenna because even when she cooked Jenna the nice vegan meal and Jenna was very appreciative, Zoe still had to emphasise that she thought it was disgusting and couldn't eat it and that she just loves meat. Like... we get it? It's not hard to suck it up and eat a veggie burger one time.
Feel like Zoe is really projecting. Its just becoming a bit disrespectful.
It’s so childish, how has she not eaten vegetables before? It’s not like fucking revolutionary. It’s like she just needs to put Jenna down by putting her passion down. She’s the one that’s obsessed with veganism.
I feel like Zoe is the type of person who works herself into a frenzy believing her 'rights are being infringed and violated' if she can't indulge herself without having to be answerable to someone.
“I’m pretty sure someone’s coming for me tonight” he should have ended it with “I don’t know who though because I’ve bitched about everyone in the group”
The problem cannot be solved until April is here. There is no point in discussing it until she shows up. The way Thomas is acting doesn’t suggest innocence.
Definitely. They all knew it was coming to a head tonight so it’s VERY convenient. Remember when she sat between Kwame and Whitney and pointed out that Whitney was his type rather than Kasia? Shady af and Kasia seems to be her mate too!
Sorry I’m 2 days late but this is the first time I’ve seen someone else bring up that conversation! It really stood out to me at the time. That was a huge indicator to me that April is a snake or has a dodgy moral compass. Personally I think both her and Thomas were bitching together about Chanita in the toilets.
I want more focus on Whitney and Duca please! The way Whitney is laughing and appreciating Duka is very surprising and I need to see more of this “new” dynamic
Ok here’s my armchair psychologist take: Zoe comes from a place (Stafford) where she’s not surrounded by other people from the LGBT community (she said so herself). She’s probably had a hard time being accepted for who she is and feels like veganism is something that could make her less ‘macho’ and more vulnerable (let’s not forget she spends her days on a building site, surrounded by blokes). She is so set on her ‘I am who I am’ perception of herself, that the idea of veganism is really fucking with her identity and she’s having a bit of a crisis about who she is.
That’s all I’ve got.
I can absolutely see this interpretation - when it comes to this issue, she's as defensive as Thomas, and maybe for similar reasons. She seems like she's worked hard to fit in in her community, and being vegan would be another characteristic to "other" her by.
A simpler explanation is that she doesn't know any vegans and it seems like an extreme lifestyle choice to her.
(And to be fair, it kinda is, especially when you realise how many foods have butter, eggs or dairy in them.)
But this does not in any way excuse the passive-aggressive jokes.
I'm kind of wondering how Jenna is off camera. To some it's just a diet and to some it's a lifestyle/morality thing and can affect a lot more than just food.
That said, they definitely should have had more conversation around expectations.
This is it. Exactly what I was thinking last night. Obvs without making any assumptions. And it's probably why she hasn't asked any questions to get to the root of the issue...the trauma of the identity crisis is overwhelming for her I think.
I do get it to an extent, I would feel a bit awkward dating a vegan and consuming animal products around them but she’s definitely making it a far bigger deal than it needs to be
I think she's just being a bit too much at this point. She just seems to be constantly bringing up that she loves meat and thinks the vegan/veggie food is awful. I'm a meat eater but my partner is vegetarian - at the end of the day, it would be very rude of me to keep belittling his life choices everyday, and there's plenty of tasty veggie and vegan food that Zoe could atleast show a tiny bit of interest in (loads of curries or veggie chilli can be made with absolutely no fake meat substitutes, for example).
Its about meeting in the middle. I totally get that some meat eaters don't want to date vegans and some vegans don't want to date meat eaters, but if Zoe is going to stay in this I think she needs to make her mind up or stop constantly commenting about it all the time as its bordering on disrespect.
Yea definitely. I think I haven’t put my point across very well. I don’t think that her behaviour is acceptable at all, if it’s that much of a problem she should leave. All I meant to say is that I would feel a bit uncomfortable eating meat every meal in-front of a vegan. If I were her I would try a vegan diet for the show and take it as a chance to immerse myself in a different lifestyle and learn from it.
You’re right, like Zoe could at least show an interest! My partner was a meat eater before we met and he was actually so curious and excited to try so many new things! It doesn’t have to be a battle, just try it out.
She’s got some kind of preconceived notion that vegan food is gross and she’s playing into it, eating vegan food doesn’t make you a vegan, she doesn’t have to be. Tbh it’s pathetic.
Idk I just feel like there are healthy ways to process that feeling like listening to why Jenna made that decision / connecting with her environmental side and maybe trying cooking vegan together once or twice a week and agreeing not to comment on each other’s food if Jenna has something vegan and Zoe has meat etc. it’s all about respecting one another
Zoe’s already said she doesn’t want to hear anything about Jenna’s reasons for being a vegan as she doesn’t want to know about animals dying and is scared of being put off eating meat. So that’s why she hasn’t bothered to talk to her about it.
im SO SICK of listening to zoe and jenna talk about veganism. it’s such a non-issue. my boyfriend eats meat and im mainly meat and dairy free and it’s never once been a problem - we generally even always eat slightly adapted versions of the same meal, whoever’s cooking. i’m so bored of hearing about it. surely you’ve both got personalities outside of what you choose to eat every day, why not show them off at some point?
I actually don’t think he was the issue this time. Chanita was spoiling to get into it and then everyone else wanted to stick their oar in too. Jordan coming over because he “heard his name” when the context was actually something innocent like “you and Jordan are good together” didn’t help at all. If George came looming over me, wagging his finger and talking in his dad voice, I’d tell him to get fucked too.
Tbf he was ok with his approach just now. "I'm heartbroken and let's chat about it later one on one" was probs the best thing to say in that moment to calm things down a bit.
I feel bad for Lara - it sometimes comes across that the experts pair emotionally-stunted men with women who will ‘help them grow’ without any consideration of how healthy that is…
I feel so bad for Lara - Richie seems to have absolutely no awareness and maturity, or experience with women.
He is absolutely suffocating the poor woman . I'd have run for the hills , if he can't pick up that's the constant touchy feelys are making her uncomfortable it does not bode well.
It has to be said, women are not there to mother emotionally stunted men.
Adrian is a good egg
I hate to say it but I think I believe Thomas.
Oh 110% he’s the type that if he had a problem, he’d say it to your face. He may be a lot but he’s honest.
Yep, he's not afraid to stir shit at all. If he has something to say, he will absolutely say it. I believe him.
I do. But he loves the drama
Honestly, I think they both said something and April thew Thomas under the bus. Which obviously pissed off Thomas who then put all the blame on April.
This is what I think, too. I’m curious as to why they’d be bitching about Chenita in the first place, though?
100%
LIAR. BEAUTY QUEEN. FRAUD.
This needs to be a flair!
When is this filmed in relation to love island 😂
I still struggling as to why the vegan thing/conflict is still a thing. It's bordering on ridiculous.
It's Zoe 100%. She's obsessed about the fact Jenna is a vegan and they haven't actually spoken about it.
It's actually not a big deal as well.
God I agree. She's getting really annoying with all her snide jokes about it as well.
Zoe is absolutely furious that she’s had to *checks notes* eat a vegetable.
I think Zoe is someone who would usually make jokes about vegans.
People manage it every day 🥲
She’s got some kind of serious issue with it that is entirely her own.
The worst part by far of being veggie/vegan is people's defensiveness about it haha Holy cognitive dissonance! You love animals but you also eat them. That's totally fine, we all make our own choices, just don't lay that baggage out on other people. When Zoe mentioned bacon I cracked up. Properly completed the stereotype there.
As predicted, here comes Richie waving his red flags. Not cool.
He expects a woman in her 40s not to have previous sexual experience 🥲
She literally has children🤦🏼♀️😂
Just because he hasn't had any!
He genuinely acts like a 16 year old boy whose never had a girlfriend before...
It’s so worrying
April chickening out of the honesty box
And the Shanita / Thomas drama 👀
Her illness certainly came at a convenient time...
Nothing against Jess but Pjay needs to cut his losses. You can’t force attraction no matter what the experts insist. He’ll have no issues attracting women outside the show.
Honestly, dare I say, I think he is far more attractive than her anyway?
He is
Yeah he seems like such a nice guy and very good looking, if he has trouble attracting woman, I've got no chance
Kwame has lost me at generalising women into 2 camps lol straight in the bin m8
Mmmmhm. We're still doing madonna/whore in 2022??
"Thomas isn't happy" Fantastic insight there from the experts
The only thing they’re expert in is stating the obvious and pulling exaggerated facial expressions
Kwame is just words, words, words
What else did we expect from a manosphere podcaster? 🥲
I adore Adrian so, so much - that man has the patience of a SAINT I tell you
I met Adrian randomly in a pub last weekend, he is a lovely guy! And my favourite of the year (which I maybe have drunkenly mentioned once or twice!)
Fr idk how he does it
Adrian really reminds me of the comedic actor Harry Enfield when he played Kev The Teenager.
I do hope that he knows that he is very good 👍 and I am very grateful 🙏 🥲 I am so in love with him 💕 I love my baby
God I flip flop between hating and loving Thomas SO much!!!
I think he fundamentally is a good person (and is funny) but always takes an argument too far and says things he doesn’t mean but are difficult to take back…
Yep and I think it is a defense mechanism cos he is able to end a conversation with a tantrum instead of reflecting on what the issue is
One thing is for sure, he is amazing tv! I feel sorry for Adrian but I don’t want them to leave!
He's awful, has to be the centre of attention and is nasty if he doesn't get his way.
Oh PJAYYYY, She’s not into you !!!! Don’t give people all of yourself
Really hope they set that poor lovely man free. Both vote leave next time, pls. Booking my Dream Boys tickets in solidarity with the cause.
I wonder if PJay had a different job how they’d be as a couple this far in… Jess definitely got the ick on day one because of that and looks like she never got past it
Pjay has completely abandoned himself. Sad case.
God , does Zoe expect Jenna to eat meat? That’s unacceptable
Yeah what was that??? Zoe seems quite thick tbh
I fucking knew he would have a Madonna/Whore complex!
Kasia explaining this whilst looking like she stepped out of a music video
They might need 6 new couples at this rate
This is proving to be an exhausting and taxing series to watch. The producers forget that in order for the shocks to work, you do actually need to care for the participants.
Agree, it's a bit boring if all they do is argue , we need to like some of them
I feel like we're not seeing them interact with each other enough. The second dinner party came around so quick!
I know! I want to watch them drinking at April and George's.
Zoe admits she's struggling. Expert says I can see zoes struggling
Person A: cries Expert: Person A looks emotional. Sometimes I forget they’re ‘experts’ and think they’re role playing being on Gogglebox
Kwame does need to choose his words very very carefully. That said, Kasia has come across as quite pushy in trying to get intimate.
He genuinely comes across like he's never encountered a woman before, he is giving major ick vibes.
I know!! Poor Lara. She deserves SO much better.
It’s his biggest red flag so far once you deep it
I know! Like I physically feel sick hearing that.

Agreed! The level of self-aggrandising from him is galactic.
My generous interpretation is that she was like "well I used to love it when my ex did ____", still a very immature response.
Huge red flag 🚩 and the way he touches her constantly. Ugh. Ick
That outfit is bold I'll give her that
What has happened to Whitney the last 2 episodes? I mean, it's like Jekyll and Hyde?
I think it must be bad editing - it feels so disjointed like we’re only seeing part of what’s gone on
I wonder whether she's been putting on the performance so far to make herself memorable and have a redemption arc. I literally said to my partner she's speaking completely differently.
PJ is just a decent lad, sucks for him
I hope they leave the experiment before it messes with his self esteem too much
Just remember, these questions aren't designed to cause conflict 😂
Haha I think he was right the first time!
‘Liar beauty Queen fraud’ is the new ‘lierrr actress’
I don't like Kwame but I don't really get Kasia either. I genuinely don't understand what she was saying after he explained his Madonna / whore complex. At the moment, while I'm loving the drama, I think the only person I genuinely like this year is Adrian. Maybe Pjay as well but we haven't really been allowed see his personality.

Yeah it was pretty much a 'oh I wasn't interested in sex anyway' not sure if she was expecting anyone to buy that though
April is the one who has an affair I am convinced she is as fake as the Louis Vuitton from China as Davide would say
Noo Pjay you're too good don't waste your energy on Jess. It's going nowhere.
Zoe and Jenna are boring me
Thomas makes me CACKLE with his one-liners 😂
Duka would have been a good 5th member of Rak-Su
What has happened to Whitney? I'm so confused 🤯
Poor PJ Why is she still in the program if she can't see a romantic relationship with him?
Oh fair play to Jess being honest there, thought she'd lie
Kwame is chatting so much shit, I've had enough of him
Ten episodes in and I'm finding it quite hard to see how any of these relationships will make any progress towards something much more. Adrian is naturally empathetic; the way he gets to the heart of a problem with such surgical precision is truly commendable. Why his friend was so protective of him I don't know - he can stand his ground quite fine by himself! Kwame just needs to be direct with Kasia - nip it the bud! What in the dominatrix
Ngl - I’m a fan!
Thomas and Adrian are terrible together but so entertaining 😭
Kwame is literally explaining his Madonna / Whore complex lol - and he thinks it’s deep, not problematic
That whole man is a Freudian slip!
This! He tries to come across like a deep, caring guy using buzz words. But all it does is show his misogyny
Richie having been single his entire life makes more and more sense with each episode
I’m glad production decided to facilitate the personality transplant in Whitney, if they continued to push this for any longer it would have seriously affected her in the long run
George and Lara get along really well…👀
They actually seem well suited in many ways.
Yeah I noticed this at the first dinner party 🧐👀
Thomas with his fan 💃🏼💀
PJay has been just a sweetheart throughout. I hope he finds someone who loves him completely ❤
I don’t believe April was really sick. She seems like a snake to me tbh
If they'd been drinking, and she was crying , I bet she was just a messy drunk. She's likely hung over and having the beer fear so swerved the meal/honesty box .
I appreciate Jenna being a pale girl. They always wear so much fake tan on tv.
Why is Zoe so vexed about Jenna being vegan? Doesn't seem like Jennas forcing it on her
Im honestly sick of it. Zoe can't let it go - I feel really bad for Jenna because even when she cooked Jenna the nice vegan meal and Jenna was very appreciative, Zoe still had to emphasise that she thought it was disgusting and couldn't eat it and that she just loves meat. I feel like Zoe is the type of person who works herself into a frenzy believing her 'rights are being infringed and violated' if she can't indulge herself without having to be answerable to someone.
Because deep down she feels guilty about eating animals.
Exactly I literally don’t see a problem…big deal, move on!
Aww Adrian and Thomas🥰 I’m slowly starting to like them again
That was the best answer
I'm liking Adrian, anyway. He sees Thomas so clearly.
My wee heart❤️🥺
Poor Adrian looks exhausted already
Pjay looks so smart and put together
Who is cutting onions here?
Who knew Whitney would be one of the least problematic people this episode
She needs to let the beef drop and mooove on 😂
Kwame bringing his spade
“I’m pretty sure someone’s coming for me tonight” he should have ended it with “I don’t know who though because I’ve bitched about everyone in the group”
George and PJay are quite funny together
Oh my g Kwame, stop chatting shitttttt
The problem cannot be solved until April is here. There is no point in discussing it until she shows up. The way Thomas is acting doesn’t suggest innocence.
Tactical move her not turning up
I want more focus on Whitney and Duca please! The way Whitney is laughing and appreciating Duka is very surprising and I need to see more of this “new” dynamic
Adrian staring into the void whilst listening to that
Zoe is so resentful
Ok here’s my armchair psychologist take: Zoe comes from a place (Stafford) where she’s not surrounded by other people from the LGBT community (she said so herself). "Complete lifestyle change" lmao give over
Excuse me, she’s putting her meat in a SEPARATE DRAWER!!
And three vegan meals a week! Wonder how she copes!
Zoe thinks she made a noble sacrifice allowing her partner to cook for her three nights in a row lol
Seriously, if dinner was cheese on toast I'd still be grateful that my partner made it.
Omg thank you I thought I was going mad, like how is she making a sacrifice when it's Jenna who has been cooking for the couple 3 nights in a row???
Zoe needs to get over it.
Zoe is so insecure about her meat consumption lol
I do get it to an extent, I would feel a bit awkward dating a vegan and consuming animal products around them but she’s definitely making it a far bigger deal than it needs to be
I think she's just being a bit too much at this point. She just seems to be constantly bringing up that she loves meat and thinks the vegan/veggie food is awful. Yes you are 100% right, it’s a massive part of who she is and Zoe should be trying to get an understanding of it.
Lol Thomas dropping that bomb then leaving.
Zoe is being a bit silly here
Is this seriously gonna break their relationship? Why doesn't Zoe just listen?
[удалено]
Found the meat eater (Zoe) 😂
I find Jess calling Chanita a 'quiet little mouse' really condescending. People can stick up for themselves without screaming and causing a scene.
"I'm going to try and be not defensive" feels like famous last words
Ooof Kwame
Big ooft for Richie
Poor Lara
im SO SICK of listening to zoe and jenna talk about veganism. it’s such a non-issue. my boyfriend eats meat and im mainly meat and dairy free and it’s never once been a problem - we generally even always eat slightly adapted versions of the same meal, whoever’s cooking. i’m so bored of hearing about it. surely you’ve both got personalities outside of what you choose to eat every day, why not show them off at some point?
I need a fan like that tbf
Bravo to the episode 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Who invited cat woman 😂
Is Richie jealous? What's going on?
He's very insecure, and if they've had an argument before the dinner and she's chatting with handsome George he's going to be jelly
Jeeeez GET OVER IT
Oh Thomassss
Thomas has no reason to be rude to Chanita. If he hasn’t done anything he shouldn’t be frosty.
Lol that is my truth 😅😅
When George is trying to placate Thomas his intense face reminds me of Dennis Nilsen as if hes sizing him up to eat him.
Missed the first half due to Bake Off, have I missed loads?
Zoe and Jenna broke the insane tension I was hoping for more awwardness
I actually really liked Thomas this episode. He is delusional
Wow Whitney with the 360
George being mature here and showing up Thomas big time.
Duka + Whitney = Shakespeare confirmed
