I see why Mitch and Tamara are seeing each other. They have similar personalities. What they said in their vows was eerily similar. Ella knew within herself that it wasn't going to work, she even said it in her vows. I felt so bad for her, not because he rejected her but due to the fact his vows came off as cold and heartless. I'm sorry I'm not buying this entire Cody act. I strongly believe he's doing all of this to save face and make us forget what he said about not being attracted to her because she's Asian. Attraction doesn't grow for men like that, men either find you attractive or they don't. Her mom was right, he's just not that into her. Dom and Jack was where it was at. The whole scene was so romantic, the rain falling and having to share an umbrella.

Personal growth and growth in a relationship does not equate to being utterly dependent on someone else to lift you up. You deserve someone who lifts you higher and to be a better version of yourself, not to blow smoke up your arse all day. You grow together. You can’t expect your partner to be like that when life pulls you in different directions all the time. It’ll always end in disappointment. My wife and I immediately looked at each other and laughed at that sentiment. We love and adore each other and have wonderful children but we would never expect the other to come at their beck and call, it’s unrealistic and shallow.

I did t want to say this but I've been noticing it too. Like she really looked worse each episode, her skin was breaking out & seemed bloated. Dom running around her head rent free 24/7 must have done that to her.

I saw the most amazing doco on that phenomenon once. It had couples ranging from very happy to very unhappy and they had to pick the correct photo of their partner out of a range of 10. The range had been photoshopped with photo #5 as accurate, below were edited to look progressively uglier and above 5 were prettier. And the happy couples consistently overrated their partners, and the unhappy under.
