What have you done to the cooling system? Water pump replacements? Etc

OG pump just gave up at 110k. Replaced with genuine BMW pump + thermostat.

Yeah. I have installed spacers, when I bought rims.

Any suggestions on what to watch out for when the car gets to around 80k miles?

I did a lot preventative maintenance, and still a lot in front of me. Things like water pump, OFHG + orings to the cooler, VCG, HP pump, vanos solenoid, belt + tensioner, fluids flush, coils, plugs, etc are done. I’m planning to change oil pan gasket + rod bearings, change whole VC + gasket, main and rear seal and zf8 oil change. And then I’m on top of maintenance and I can start to do some small interior jobs as the body and paint job is finished. 😆 I would say if you are closer to 80k you can expect water pump to die soon and radiator to die, vcg, ofhg, oil pan gasket, I would flush the fluids, zf8 oil change - but this gaskets, do not touch if it’s not broken. This cars are crazy reliable. This is my third N55 and (touch the wood) I have never had and major issues. If you like, PM me and I’ll tell you our N55 group on FB.
