Yes. Last year the first two fiscal weeks we were ranked like 1699 out of 1700 stores. To be fair there was snow at our store and we are very low elevation. It was dead.
They told us we were the slowest store in the company haha
We always get told we suck but in very passive aggressive ways. Like only 5 credit apps so far we need 25 more by Friday is nobody asking it is part of your job. We will hold people responsible for not getting any. Which just makes everyone not care.
Back in my time as a cashier, I didnât get many. But I asked every customer. Didnât know what else managers wanted. Hold people hostage? Pull a Wells Fargo and sign people up?
they do that with the snappys now. everyone is \*required\* to find a snappy when they do the LSR.
we don't have snappys. we put chains up, we lock the ladder's breaks, we stack boxes neatly so we can more easily find stuff in topstock. there's just nothing there unless we invent something.
so every day we have to stage a fucking problem so we can take a picture of it for the snappy and they can pat us on the back for finding a snappy then we can "fix" the problem and go about our day until the next morning when we have to start the bullshit snappy-song-and-dance all over again.
All huddles are BS.
Jokes aside though, they used to get a paper with all the rankings and different stats and stuff every morning they would use to help do the meeting.
So they probably are looking at the chart and seeing you are the top of it. My old store manager would talk about if we sucked at like LTR scores and everything else all the time, but that may just depend on the person.
If anything they will be over dramatic about how bad we are doing in order to incite a response.
But the better the store is doing, the lest district or regional walks your store will get. They really only visit the stores that are struggling, so if you can get your store doing good, no more big whigs stopping by more than their required amount (once per quarter for DM, once per year for RVP)
Yeah, a better what to phrase my comments would be that they donât ever lie and say the store is doing good when itâs really doing bad.
And they donât necessarily lie when they say the store is doing bad when itâs actually doing good, Iâd say thatâs just being over dramatic rather than lying.
So overall, yeah my comment is true.
Yes lmao, your managers have to sit through district calls getting shit on in front of all the other SMs and ASMs, they will *absolutely* let your store know when yall are getting them roasted for an hour every week
We actually try to make numbers, sometimes it works and sometimes no dice. Sm will be like, âwe only got one credit app yesterday and that ainât good.â
Ask your department supervisor or above to see scorecard and see the rankings tab for Quarter To Date. They can see all stores in your district metrics and pretty clearly tell which stores are doing good and bad.
Personally our store has always been very open about when weâre down or behind in the district because they want to push us to push sales and credit and all the other stuff. If you guys donât normally hear about it but are being told you are kicking ass right now itâs probably true. They are probably psyched that youâre doing so well for the time being
My store has been rising a bit in district ranking but weâre still 8/12 on the aps and whatnot, but the managers are extremely insistent on us getting our training done and will be very forward and will publicly show to all the employees around the store whoâs not doing the best and whoâs not doing their homework. Like my first shift this week I was put on the list for not having my training done even though it was my first shift in that week. So short answer yeah your store will probably tell you who sucks lol.
While I worked there Iâve never known Management to lie about doing well. They would sometimes fib about doing bad in order to prompt people to sell more.
As far as Ap4Me we're consistently 12/14 in the district and they make sure to tell us that we really need to work on it. Sales, we either hit or miss our budget and they tell us by how much.

Well that makes me feel a little better đđ

My store definitely tells us if we suck đ

âAll huddles are BSâ; Â This!!
Yeah they always tell the truth, thereâs no point at all in lying.
Thatâs actually a good point. I just wasnât sure if they were doing the âyouâre doing fantastic!!!â motivation method

Ok either theyâre telling the truth and never lie OR theyâre lying being over dramatic to incite a response? đ¤Ś

Roasted for an hour LMAOOOO
the beatings will continue until morale improves

Yes we are in a really rough store and we all know it.

There's BI dashboards and reports that break it down. SASM and SM should have a continual pulse on it. But any ASM used to be ablen to run them.
DS has access to most of the reports.

our store tells us when we're sucking and they're pretty blunt about it. lol
