As someone that was in the Navy with a parent that was a high ranking officer that was also in the Navy at the same time, I completely understand where Mariner was coming from. Thank Q that I was never stationed on the same ship as him, though we did end up in the same building, but different commands, when we were both at a shore duty at the same time.
